 <\/p>\n

Lauren Jackson is the daughter of Lisa and Walter Jackson. Lisa,\nas many of you know, is our sister in the Lord who is a personal banker at\nWells Fargo in Victoria, TX. Walter is a longtime pastor, minister of the\nGospel, and childhood friend of Chuck Pierce.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lisa called us a couple weeks back and told us that Lauren had\nbeen diagnosed with Leukemia and asked us to pray for her. The doctors were\nplanning a series of tests on Lauren and preparing a treatment regimen. Lauren\nhad an appointment this week for a review of the tests.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This past Sunday we lifted Lauren up before the Lord and decreed\nthe cleansing of her blood and the removal of every trace of Leukemia. On\nWednesday Lisa went with Lauren to see the doctor. He gave her a clean bill of\nhealth and told her there was not so much as a trace of Leukemia in her blood.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I absolutely love it when we get to see the Lord do this kind of\nhealing! And, folks, we've only just begun!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let's\ngo a different direction today in this ongoing discussion of aphi\u00e9mi<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> healing\nand talk about just what it means to eat faith. OK, now! Don't look cross-eyed\nat me like that! I know that sounds weird but bear with me as we take a whole\ndifferent track as we talk about healing.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hebrews 10:38<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/i><\/span>Now the just shall live by faith, but if any man draw back<\/span>, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Despite\nthe fact that this command occurs four times in the Word, God\u2019s people still\nhave a tendency to struggle with it. For many, faith is an intangible. It isn\u2019t\nsomething you can get a hold on. It\u2019s almost mystical and ethereal.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The\nissue is that faith is inherent in Jesus\u2019 character, makeup and personality. It\ngoes with Him. No Word was ever spoken by Him that didn\u2019t come forth out of\nfaith.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let\u2019s\ntake a minute to define just exactly what faith is and what it consists of.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span><\/i>Faith is the material substance of those things expected and\nhoped for, being both title-deed and evidentiary proof of their reality \u2014 the\nabsolute knowing that those things we expect exist, even if we can\u2019t see them\nat the moment using our natural senses.\u201d<\/span> <\/span>(Hebrews 11:1, RAC\nTranslation and Amplification #1)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let's\ntry this one more way: <\/span>"Now faith is the\nconcrete foundation, the support, the evidentiary proof, the title deed of\nthose things \u2013 those material objects \u2013 expected and trusted for, the\nconvincing evidence of those things not previously seen in the natural\nrealm." <\/span>(Hebrews\n11:1, RAC Translation and Amplification #2)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Of\nall the characteristics of the Lord Jesus Christ we\u2019ve heard throughout the\nyears, living and operating by faith is probably the most used, the most\nmisused, the most misunderstood, and the simplest of all to function in \u2013 once\nthe revelation of faith unfolds.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We\njust said that faith is inherent in Jesus' character, makeup and nature. Faith\nis the very essence of God. It is the very substance of His makeup. He cannot\nspeak with uttering faith.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

By\nthe same token, if we are to be restored into His image and likeness that same\ncharacter of faith must be operable in us.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As\nthe apostle Paul noted<\/span>, <\/span>\u201cI fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through\nhis subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in\nChrist<\/span>." <\/span>(II Corinthians 11:3)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The\nbody of Christ has suffered from the complicating of faith, and there is\nnothing complicated about it. Faith is rooted, grounded and substantiated in\nthe very essence of God Himself.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. <\/span><\/b>Faith is both spirit\nand substance.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. <\/span><\/b>Faith is activated by\nthe Word (rhema<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>)<\/span> of God.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3. <\/span><\/b>Faith is the essence\nof God\u2019s life (zoe<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>).<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4. <\/span><\/b>Everything that God\nspeaks comes out of His faith.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5. <\/span><\/b>God cannot speak\nanything that does not come out of His being by faith.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

6. <\/span><\/b>The substance of\nfaith manifests by the Spirit.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

7. <\/span><\/b>Paul tells us that\nJesus is the brightness of God\u2019s glory and the express image of His person;\nthat as such He <\/span>\u201cupholds<\/span> (phero<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> > energko<\/span><\/span><\/i>:<\/span><\/b> energizes\nand sustains)<\/span><\/span> <\/span>all\nthings by the Word of His power.\u201d<\/span> The power of His Word, therefore,\nis His faith!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

8. <\/span><\/b>Faith, therefore, is\nthe substance resource. It is like a warehouse of substance material, existing\nin the dimension of the spirit, from which the \u201cWord of faith\u201d draws upon to\ncreate.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

9. <\/span><\/b>The Word of Faith can\nonly activate and be put in force by a confession of our mouth spoken in\nagreement with what the Spirit is saying. Our mouths become the necessary\nactivator \u2014 the creator \u2014 of that which we expect to see.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

10. <\/span><\/b>Faith calls those\nthings into being \u2014 whether events, circumstances, material goods or spiritual\nconditions: whether, healing, deliverance, restoration, financial provision,\netc. \u2014 that don\u2019t yet appear in this natural realm, but exist as substance in\nthe warehouse of the Spirit so that they move from the spirit-realm into the\nnatural, visible realm. This requires the spoken word.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

11. <\/span><\/b>Everything that was\never created began its existence first in the warehouse of faith.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

12. <\/span><\/b>Everything that was\never created came into this realm by speaking.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

13. <\/span><\/b>In order for Jesus\u2019\nfaith to be active and energized in us, we must first hear it from Him.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

14. <\/span><\/b>Having heard the Word\nspoken (the <\/span>rhema<\/i><\/span>) <\/b>to\nus by the Lord, the energizing force of faith is now ready to flow through our\nmouths with the same creative power inherent in the Lord Jesus.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

15. <\/span><\/b>Faith pleases God\nwhen active in us because we are functioning in the way He created us.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

16. <\/span><\/b>Living by faith and\nspeaking faith brings us back to the image and likeness of God in which we were\ncreated and permits us to resume our rightful role as co-creators of God\u2019s Will\nand purposes in the earth.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

17. <\/span><\/b>The Kingdom of God\nenlarges its borders and increases its territory as we speak the Word of faith\nwe\u2019ve heard from the Lord.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Galatians\n5:6<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth<\/span>\nanything, nor uncircumcision<\/span>; but faith which\nworketh<\/span><\/u> (<\/b><\/span>energeo<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>:\nenergized, empowered, made active and effective<\/span><\/i><\/b>)<\/span><\/b> <\/span>by love<\/span><\/u>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We\nsaid a minute ago that the energizing power of God\u2019s Word is faith. John tells\nus in his first epistle that God is love! He doesn\u2019t just love, He IS\nlove! <\/b>That means that love and faith work together. No love:\nno faith<\/u>. No faith: no love<\/u>. They are inseparable from each\nother.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because\nGod is Love, and Jesus came from the Father, He is Love. For us to eat at the\nTable of the Lord of Jesus\u2019 flesh, therefore, is to eat of His love.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\nJohn 4:7-13<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every\none that loveth<\/span> is born of God, and knoweth<\/span> God<\/u>. He that loveth<\/span>\nnot knoweth<\/span> not God; for God is love<\/u>. In\nthis was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only\nbegotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love,\nnot that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be<\/i> the\npropitiation<\/span> <\/span>(<\/span>hilasmos<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/b> <\/span>reconciler, to cause to expire, expiator, to substitute for<\/span>) <\/span>for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love\none another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth<\/span> in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby\nknow we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his\nSpirit.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We\ncan say then that the energizing force of faith is love. This is why the\napostle James made the following statement in his letter to the body of Christ:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

James\n2:14-18<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>What doth it<\/i> profit, my brethren, though a man\nsay he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or\nsister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto\nthem, Depart in peace, be ye<\/i> warmed and filled;\nnotwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth\nit<\/i> profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being\nalone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy\nfaith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The\nworks that faith produces are the evidence, therefore, of love \u2014 agape<\/span> <\/i><\/b>love. James could easily have\nsaid,<\/span> <\/span>\u201cI will\nshow you my love by my works.\u201d<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If\nHoly Spirit is the force by which love and faith come into being, it follows\nthat we must be filled to overflowing with Holy Spirit and become channels for\nHoly Spirit to flow through us with the Love of God.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ephesians\n5:17-20<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of\nthe Lord is<\/i>. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess;\nbut be (being) filled (continually) with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in\npsalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart\nto the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father\nin the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Are\nyou seeing the Table of the Lord in this? The instruction is for us to drink of\nHoly Spirit continually to the point where we are drunk \u2014 where we have too\nmuch Holy Spirit. When we have too much Holy Spirit, it has to go somewhere;\nand that means it bubbles out in the form of demonstrating love.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

John 3:34-35<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>For He whom God has sent\nspeaks the words of God: for He does not give the Spirit by measure<\/span> <\/span>(metron<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>: <\/span><\/b>limited degree\nor measured portion<\/span>).<\/span> The Father loves\nthe Son, and has given all things into his hand<\/span>. <\/span>(NASB)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The\nTable of the Lord has not been set before us so that we just barely get enough\nof the Word, and a little of Holy Spirit to go along with it: it has been\nspread so that we eat and eat and eat of the Word, so that we eat and eat and\neat of the Love of God, so that we eat and eat and eat \u2014 and hear in our\nspirits that rhema<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> <\/b>that\ngenerates the Jesus faith in us to go forth empowered by the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The\nTable of the Lord is the abundant life that Jesus came to give. Jesus said it\nlike this: John 10:10<\/u>: <\/span>The thief cometh not, but\nfor to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life,\nand that they might have it<\/i> more abundantly.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Everything\nabout the Table of the Lord is abundance. Everything about Jesus is abundance.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. <\/span><\/b>Jesus love is so\nabundant that He gave Himself for us.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. <\/span><\/b>Jesus\u2019 faith is so\nabundant that He has given us a storehouse of its substance.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3. <\/span><\/b>Holy Spirit has been\ngiven to us to facilitate that abundance and to provide us with a means to draw\nupon the warehouse of faith in Heaven.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Each\ntime we eat at the Table of the Lord we eat the Bread of Life, the Bread of\nLove, the Bread of Faith, and the Bread of Blessing. Each time we drink of the\nCup, we drink to ourselves the empowerment of the Word; and with it, the\nempowerment of agape Love, and with that, the empowerment of Faith. Holy Spirit\nis the energizer, the force-employer, the power behind the Word. Thus, Jesus\nsaid:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

John\n6:53 (NASB)<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son\nof Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Matthew\n26:26-28<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it<\/i>,\nand brake it<\/i>, and gave it<\/i> to the disciples, and\nsaid, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks,\nand gave it<\/i> to them, saying, Drink ye all of\nit; For this is my blood of the new testament<\/u>,<\/span> <\/span>(<\/span>diatheke<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/i><\/b> <\/span><\/i><\/b>devisory<\/span><\/span> will,\ncovenant<\/span>)<\/span> which is shed for many for the remission<\/span> <\/span>(<\/span>aphesis<\/span><\/i><\/b>-<\/span><\/b>aphiemi<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/i><\/b> <\/span><\/i>total\npardon, complete deliverance, freedom [from]<\/span>) <\/span>of sins.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ephesians\n3:17-21 (Amp)<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell \u2014 settle down,\nabide, make His permanent home \u2014 in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love\nand founded securely on love, That you may have the power and be strong to\napprehend and grasp with all the saints (God\u2019s devoted people, the experience\nof that love) what is the breadth and length and height and depth of\nit: [That you may really come] to know \u2014 practically, through experience\nfor yourselves \u2014 the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge (without\nexperience); that you may be filled (through all your being) unto all the\nfullness of God \u2014 [that is] may have the richest measure of the divine\nPresence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself! Now to\nHim Who, by {in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work\nwithin us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over\nand above all that we [dare] ask or think \u2014 infinitely beyond our highest\nprayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams \u2014 To Him be glory in the church and\nin Jesus Christ throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen \u2014 so be it.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus\u2019\nfaith \u2014 operating in and through us \u2014 is the substance by which love is\nmeasured. Since faith works by love \u2014 and without love our faith is nothing\nmore than a religious word \u2014 it therefore follows that the works of which James\nspeaks are the substantive proof, the evidence of Jesus\u2019 love working and\noperating in us. James might just as easily have written, <\/span>\u201cEven so faith, if it hath not love, is dead, being\nalone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have love: show me thy\nfaith without thy love, and I will show thee my faith by my love.\u201d<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus\u2019\nfaith always produces substance and evidentiary proofs that everyone could see.\nJesus\u2019 faith isn\u2019t something He has to wind up His willpower screw in order to\nactivate. It is inherent in His very nature and makeup. It simply is not\npossible for Him to function in anything other than faith.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He\nconstantly admonished the disciples \u2014 as well as those whom He taught \u2014\nto <\/span>\u201chave God\u2019s faith.\u201d<\/span> It was the Father\u2019s working in\nHim that clearly proved it. The following example is the clearest demonstration\nof it.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mark\n11:12-14<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was\nhungry: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he\nmight find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but\nleaves; for the time of figs was not yet<\/i>. And Jesus answered\nand said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee<\/span> hereafter\nforever. And his disciples heard it<\/i>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus\ndidn\u2019t have to stop and think about whether He was talking to an \u201cit\u201d or not.\nIt mattered not that He was speaking to a tree and not some person. He knew\nthat the tree must obey Him because it was a created thing which existed only\nbecause He first spoke it.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mark\n11:20-24<\/span><\/u>: <\/span>And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree\ndried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith<\/span> unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst<\/span> is withered away. And Jesus answering saith<\/span> unto them, Have faith in God<\/u>. (Have God\u2019s\nfaith!) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this\nmountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not\ndoubt in his heart<\/u>, but shall believe that those things which he saith<\/span><\/u> shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever\nhe saith<\/span>. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever<\/span> ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye\nreceive<\/u> them<\/i>, and ye shall have them<\/i>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus\ncouldn\u2019t have been clearer. 30 times in the four gospels, Jesus either\ncommanded faith, commended people for their operation of God\u2019s faith, or\nrebuked people for their lack of faith.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There\nis no excuse for us as believers who sit and eat at the Table of the Lord to\nlive and demonstrate anything but the faith of God. Every time we eat of the\nbread, we are eating of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself \u2014 and His faith! Every\ntime we drink of the cup, we are drinking of the very life-flow of Holy Spirit\n\u2014 and Holy Spirit ONLY functions and flows with faith \u2014 God\u2019s faith!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
