An implied covenant is inferred by the law from\ncertain words in a deed; for example, the law holds that implied in a lease is\na covenant that the lessee shall quietly enjoy possession of the demised\npremises as long as the terms of the lease are honored. Wrong. It IS a commitment between equals, but Covenant\ntakes the weaknesses of both parties and places them under the protection of\nthe combined strength of the parties to the covenant. The lives of the parties\nto the covenant are at stake.
