HAPPY THANKSGIVING, FOLKS!<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The healings are continuing with our conference calls, and the\nvariety is increasing by the day. The healings are not just physical, but mental,\nemotional, psychological and spiritual! People are being set free. In the weeks\nthat have passed since we began these healing calls, we have seen miracle after\nmiracle after miracle! We have good reason to be thankful and to express that\nthanksgiving to the Lord, and there are dozens and dozens of folks who can\nattest to it! Praise God!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

We're\ncontinuing on with our somewhat different approach to aphi\u00e9mi<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> healing. I'm still\ngoing around the horn but I will get back [eventually :-)] to the instruction that\nJesus gives us in Mark 9. Today I'd like to continue focusing on the power\nrevealed in Table of the Lord for our healing, what it means to be "in\nChrist" and why and how this provides the means for us to be free of\ndisease, sickness, pain and suffering.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

II Corinthians 5:17-19<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"<\/span><\/sup>Therefore if any man be<\/i> in\nChrist, he is<\/i> a new creature: old things are passed away;\nbehold, all things are become new. And all things are<\/i> of\nGod, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us\nthe ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the\nworld unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed\nunto us the word of reconciliation."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

The\npicture that Paul draws is that not only was Jesus in the Father, but that the\nFather came to earth IN JESUS!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Have\na look at another scripture<\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Colossians 1:19-22<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>For it pleased the Father<\/i> that in him should all\nfullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him\nto reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say<\/i>, whether they\nbe<\/i> things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime\nalienated and enemies in your<\/i> mind by wicked works, yet\nnow hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death,<\/u> to\npresent you holy and unblameable<\/span> and unreproveable<\/span> in his sight.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

This\npassage is a revelation all by itself. Go back to the Cross and take a look at\nJesus hanging there. It isn\u2019t just Jesus: it is you hanging there; it is me; it\nis all of us hanging there on the Cross.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Look\nat what Paul says once again<\/span>. \u201cFor\nit pleased the Father that in Him (Jesus) should all fullness dwell.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

What\n\u201cfullness\u201d? ALL \u2014 A L L<\/span> fullness!<\/b> That\u2019s\nus, folks! Think about this for a minute.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

1.<\/span> Jesus was\/is\nthe Word (John 1:1-3).<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

2.<\/span><\/b> Jesus was\/is\nthe Life (John 1:4, 14:6).<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

3.<\/span><\/b>\nJesus was\/is the Light (John 1:4, 14:6)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

4.<\/span><\/b> Jesus is the\nWay (John 14:6) and there is no other way!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

5.<\/span><\/b> Jesus is The\nTruth (John 14:6), "the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth!"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

6.<\/span><\/b> Jesus is the\nChrist, the Messiah (Ha-Mashiach<\/span>), the Anointed One\n(Mark 8:29, 14:61-62, I John 2:22, 5:1)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

7.<\/span><\/b> Jesus is the\nResurrection (John 11:25)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

8.<\/span><\/b> Jesus is The\nName Above Every Name (Philippians 2:9)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

9.<\/span><\/b> <\/span>He\nis the I AM (Revelation 1:8)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>10.<\/span><\/b> Jesus is LORD\n(Philippians 2:11, Acts 10:36, Revelation 17:14) and He is LORD of Lords!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>11.<\/span><\/b> Jesus is Peace\n(Ephesians 2:14)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>12.<\/span><\/b> Jesus is the\nAlpha and Omega -- the Beginning and the End (Revelation 1:8,11)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

We've\nreally only scratched the surface with these descriptions, titles and\nappellations. Paul properly expressed it when he wrote(and this is the\nAmplified Version), We\u2019ve really only scratched the surface with these\ndescriptions, titles and appellations. Paul properly expressed it when he\nwrote, (and this is the Amplified Version)<\/span> <\/span>\u201cFor it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness \u2014 the\nsum total of the divine perfection, powers and attributes \u2014 should dwell in Him\npermanently.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And\nthis is where Paul takes it the next step to show what happened when Jesus took\nus into Himself.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Colossians 1:21-22 (Amplified Version)<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from\nHim and of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities, Yet now has [Christ,\nthe Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through\ndeath<\/u>, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His\n[the Father\u2019s] presence."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Are\nyou seeing it now?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

When\nJesus hung on the Cross He took us into Him. He put us in Him as He hung on the\nCross so that we [that is to say, our sinful nature and flesh] \u2014 in and through\nHim \u2014 would die. But Jesus didn\u2019t leave things there. We didn\u2019t just die in and\nthrough and with Him: we experienced resurrection with Him, in Him, and through\nHim.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

When\nJesus rose from the dead, we rose too because we were in Him!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Remember\nhow Paul said that all the divine fullness existed in Christ \u2014 how everything is\nmade complete in Him? We, too \u2014 because we are in Him \u2014 are complete. Here\u2019s\nhow Paul continues in his letter to the Ekklesia<\/span> in Colosse<\/span>:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Colossians 2:9-13 (Amplified Version<\/span><\/u><\/b>)<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"<\/span><\/sup>For in Him the whole fullness\nof Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form \u2014 giving complete\nexpression of the divine nature. And you are in Him, made full and have\ncome to fullness of life <\/u>\u2014 in Christ you too are filled with the\nGodhead: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and reach full spiritual stature. And He\nis the Head of all rule and authority \u2014 of every angelic principality and power.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

"In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made\nwith hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping\noff the body of the flesh [the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions\nand lusts], [Thus you were circumcised when] you were buried with Him in\n[your] baptism<\/u>, in which you were also raised with Him [to a new\nlife<\/u>] through [your] faith in the working of God [as displayed] when He raised\nHim up from the dead.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

"And you, who were dead<\/span><\/u> in\ntrespasses and in the uncircumcision<\/span> of your flesh \u2014 your\nsensuality, your sinful, carnal nature \u2014 [God] brought to life <\/u>together\nwith [Christ], having (freely) forgiven us of all sins.<\/span> <\/span>(See\nalso KJV)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

When\nJesus rose from the dead, therefore, because we were (and are) in Him, we also\nrose from the dead.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Are\nyou beginning to see the connection between the Table of the Lord and Water\nBaptism? Are you understanding now why these are the only two commands that\nJesus gave?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

You\u2019ll\nrecall that Jesus said (see John 6:51, 56), <\/span><\/span>\u201cI [Myself] am this Living Bread which came down from heaven. If\nanyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever; and also the Bread that I shall\ngive for the life of the world is My flesh (body). \u201cHe that eats and feeds on\nmy flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells continually in me, and I [in like manner\ndwell continually] in him.\u201d (Amplified Version)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

As\nJesus prepared to ascend back into Heaven, He said,<\/span> <\/span>\u201dGo ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name\nof the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost\u201d <\/span>(Matthew 28:19)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Mark\n recorded it like this:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Mark 16:15-16<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"<\/span><\/sup>And he said unto them, Go\nye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth\nand is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Now\ngo back to Colossians 2:12:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

"<\/span><\/sup>Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him<\/i> through\nthe faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here\u2019s\n how Paul put it to the Romans.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Romans 6:3-5<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus\nChrist were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism\ninto death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the\nFather, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been\nplanted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the\nlikeness<\/i> of his<\/i>resurrection<\/span>."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Water\nBaptism parallels the Table of the Lord. We eat of the Lord at His Table, and\nin so doing become part of His body. We drink of His Cup and in so doing drink\nof His life.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Water\nBaptism marks our agreement and re-enactment of Jesus\u2019 death and resurrection.\nWe participate with Jesus by being buried with Him in baptism. We also\nparticipate with Him when we come out of the water because we are demonstrating\nHis resurrection and \u2014 again, because we are in Him \u2014 our resurrection from the\ndead.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

We\u2019ve\nalready talked about the fact that Jesus provided death cancellation for all of\nus by keeping our appointment with death. In fact, we were in Christ when He\nhung on the Cross, keeping our appointment. When Jesus rose from the dead,\ncoming out of that tomb, we were in Him.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

If\nI seem to be repeating myself, I am, but my objective is to say this in as many\ndifferent ways as possible so that we all get this revelation. I personally\nbelieve there is no revelation more important than this.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Everything\nthat Jesus does in our lives, everything we accomplish, our growth and spiritual\ndevelopment, our ministry, the miracles that we perform and participate in \u2014\nall hang on our being in Christ when He died, and then rose again from the\ndead. Death cancellation means we don\u2019t have to put up with death. Resurrection\nfrom the dead means that death has no power or hold of any kind over us.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

It\nalso means that we are free from all disease, infirmity, sickness and pain \u2014\nsince they all stem from the dying process.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Thus, <\/span>\u201cHe that eats and feeds on my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells\ncontinually in me, and I [in like manner dwell continually] in him.\u201d<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Colossians 2:13-15<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"And you, being dead <\/span>(<\/span>nekros<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/b> a\ncorpse<\/span>) in your sins <\/span>(<\/span>paraptoma<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>: intentional and\nunintentional error, lapse or deviation<\/span>)<\/span> and the uncircumcision<\/span> of your flesh <\/span>(<\/span>akrobustia<\/span><\/i><\/b>:<\/span><\/b>metaphor<\/span><\/span> for\nnon-covenantal state<\/span>),<\/span> hath he quickened together <\/span>(suzoopoieo<\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/b> reanimate\ncon-jointly)<\/span> with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out <\/span>(exaleipho<\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/b> obliterate)<\/span> <\/span>the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary\nto us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And<\/i> having\nspoiled<\/span> <\/span>(apekduomai<\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/b> divesting\noneself wholly and completely)<\/span>principalities and powers <\/span>(arch\u00e9<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/b> & exousia<\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/b> \u201cchief\u201d authorities\n[archangels or demonic authorities] and \u201csuperhuman\u201d magistrates or controllers\n\u2014 demonic powers)<\/span>, he made a show of them openly, triumphing <\/span>(thriambeuo<\/i><\/b><\/span>:<\/b> \u201cnoisy iambus\u201d, to\nmake an exclamatory procession) <\/span>over them in it.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

The\npicture that Paul draws here is that of Jesus loudly proclaiming \u2014 even singing\nclamorously and poetically \u2014 and putting on exhibit Satan himself and all his\ndemonic forces to show and demonstrate that their power and authority was\nfinished. Satan had committed a crime for which he was judged and sentenced.\nHis crime was thievery and murder. He killed someone \u2014 Jesus \u2014 who was not\nsubject to his authority.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

We\nhave already noted in the past that under universal law, slaves were considered\nas property. They were not regarded as human beings, and therefore had no right\nto protest their treatment by Satan. Jesus took us with Him, in Him, and was in\nus when He went to the grave and was buried in the tomb. (Colossians 2:12)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

By\nthe same token, when Jesus was raised from the dead by the Father, we were\nraised in Him, with Him and He in us. Notice exactly how Paul phrases this in\nColossians 2:13.<\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

I\u2019m\nparaphrasing from the Greek: <\/span>\u201cHe re-animated [us] con-jointly\nwith Him, at the same time obliterating, demolishing and wiping totally clean\nthe decrees of judgment (and accompanying sentence of death) that had been\nwritten against us.\u201d <\/span>THAT'S aphi\u00e9mi<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>! There is the basis for our healing, our\ndeliverance, our wholeness, the destruction of poverty -- our sozo<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

So\nwhat happens each time we eat and drink at the Table of the Lord? We eat and\ndrink of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Thus, we have \u201cChrist in us!\u201d But\nnotice, once again, how Paul parallels this to Water Baptism.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Colossians 2:12 (Amplified Version<\/span><\/u><\/b>)<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"[Thus you were circumcised (and entered into His Covenant)\nwhen] you were buried with Him in [your] baptism<\/u>, in which you were\nalso raised with Him [to a new life<\/u>] through [your] faith in the working of\nGod [as displayed] when He raised Him up from the dead."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

We\nenter into the Covenant through Water Baptism:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

(1)<\/span><\/b> The\ncorpse of sin gets buried. The \u201cnon-person\u201d slave, subject to Satan is put in\nthe grave.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

(2)<\/span><\/b> We\nas new, reanimated, living, breathing creations \u2014 re-made in the image and\nlikeness of God \u2014 come forth from the grave as beings not subject to the Law of\nSin and Death.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

(3)<\/span><\/b> Just\nas Jesus did, we make an open show of principalities and powers in triumph and\njoyful, noisy song by virtue of having entered into this New Covenant.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

(4)<\/span><\/b> Water\nBaptism not only engages the Covenant for us with Him, it also puts on notice\nSatan, his archangels, his magistrates and all his demonic foot soldiers that\ntheir power or authority over us has been broken and demolished once and for\nall!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

(5)<\/span><\/b> Without\nWater Baptism, even though we were in Christ and He was in us when He died and\nwas buried, and then rose from the dead, no covenantal step has been taken on\nour part to demonstrate our acceptance of the New Covenant. Without Water\nBaptism \u2014 and this is an act of faith \u2014 nothing has taken place that says to\nSatan and his armies, \u201cYour authority and power over me has been\nbroken. Your right to torment me, your right to steal from me, your right to\ntake my life \u2014 without legal consequence \u2014 has been broken by the Blood of the\nLamb.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Remember\nhow John saw this picture?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Revelation 12:11 (My Amplification)<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"<\/span><\/sup>And they (the faith-filled\nand faith-acting believers) subdued, conquered and prevailed over Satan,\ngaining complete victory by the Blood of the Lamb [shed through his painful\nbeatings and suffering, and death on the Cross] and the Word of their testimony\n[the evidence, report and record given] (that they too were in Christ when He\ndied and rose again] spoken, sung and acted upon in Water Baptism; and they did\nnot love, adhere to and cling to their souls, their mindsets and their old\nthought processes, willingly and determinedly putting their souls, their mindsets\nand their old thought processes to death without regard for the consequences to\ntheir physical well-being."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

What\nprecipitated this statement by John? What was it that he witnessed when he was\ntransported into the heavenlies<\/span> in and by the Spirit?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

Revelation 12:10<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation,\nand strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the\naccuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and\nnight."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

The\naccuser \u2014 our accuser \u2014 is finished! But that \u201cfinishing\u201d is accomplished\nthrough faith. We finish him by the Word of our testimony. We give evidence,\nfirst-hand testimony as personal witnesses by virtue of the fact that we were\nin Christ when he died, that we were in Christ when He rose from the dead, and\nthat we have entered into the new Covenant with Him.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

We\nfurther give first-hand testimony to the fact that He became The Lamb That Was\nSlain which took away the curse and all our sins. Finally, we can testify that\nwe have acted upon the Covenant extended to us by being buried with Jesus\nChrist in baptism; and that we have been raised to New Life in Christ!! We are\nin Him! We are in Him! We are in Him! And our repeated partaking of the Table\nof the Lord gives constant proof!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\n
