Greetings,\nfelicitations and blessings to all of you!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

I\nreally want to get right to our discussion today, so let's dive in!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

We\nshared this in the previous Coffee Break, but let's go back and re-read the\npassage from Genesis 15 which contains such a stupendous revelation of this\ncovenant the Lord was making with Abraham.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

"And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon\nAbram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. And he said\nunto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that\nis<\/i> not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four\nhundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge:\nand afterward shall they come out with great substance. And thou shalt<\/span> go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt<\/span>\nbe buried in a good old age. But in the fourth generation they shall come\nhither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is<\/i> not yet\nfull.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was\ndark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those\npieces. In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto\nthy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river,\nthe river Euphrates: The Kenites<\/span>, and the Kenizzites<\/span>, and the Kadmonites<\/span>,\nAnd the Hittites, and the Perizzites<\/span>, and the Rephaims<\/span>, And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites<\/span>, and the Jebusites<\/span>."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Because\nof the impossibility of Abraham being able to keep this covenant in the\nnatural, God had to perform both His part of the covenant AND Abraham's!That<\/span> meant that He had to put Abraham to sleep --\nand in fact a very deep sleep. The Hebrew text here uses the word,<\/span> <\/span>tarde\u00f2ma\u00f2h<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>,<\/span><\/i><\/b> <\/span>to\ndescribe a trance or a vision. What was taking place was supernatural, and\nAbraham had to be experiencing this in a vision in order to understand and\nperceive what God was accomplishing.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Notice\nthe following:And<\/span><\/span><\/span> it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark,\nbehold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.Abraham<\/span><\/span><\/span> saw the Lord fulfilling both parts of\nthe covenant -- God's part and his part -- in the form of the smoking furnace\nand a burning lamp.Here's<\/span> the part I've been getting to.The<\/span> Lord was walking up and down -- or back and forth --\nin the blood that had been shed.The<\/span> furnace\nrepresented the consuming of the sacrifice, meaning that the sacrifice and the\nshed blood had been accepted and the covenant ratified.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Abraham\nwasn't going to get to see the fulfillment of this covenant in his lifetime,\nbut he had an inviolable guarantee that his descendants would, and that they\nwould inherit a land which -- in his lifetime -- was filled with a people whose\nentire existence opposed everything that represented the Lord.The<\/span>\nland was filled with a people who were covenant and truce-breakers.God<\/span>\nwas not only promising Abraham and his descendants all those lands, He was\npromising him that his seed would have victory over those enemies of the Lord.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

In\norder to accomplish this, of course, Abraham's youth had to be restored so that\nhe could once again procreate.Sarah<\/span> would have to be\nrestored to her youthful body and reproductive capability.We<\/span>\nknow that this indeed took place because even while Sarah was pregnant with\nIsaac, the Philistine king, Abimelech<\/span>, saw her beauty\nand thought to take her unto himself as his wife.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

So,\nwhat am I getting at, and what does all this have to do with understanding our rights?Just<\/span> this!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

We\nhave an even better covenant than Abraham!Abraham<\/span> was\nin a very real spiritual sense the father of our faith.He<\/span>\nbelieved God.He<\/span> believed that the Lord would\naccomplish the impossible with him and began to confess it from that day\nforward.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Abraham\nbecame the recipient of restored youth and restored health because of the\ncovenant God made AND KEPT with him!Abraham<\/span> became\none of the wealthiest men on the planet. He ceased to be a Chaldean.His<\/span>\nresidency became the land of promise. His home became the Kingdom of God.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\napostle Paul tells us in Hebrews 11:9-12:<\/span> <\/span>"By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in<\/i> a\nstrange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with\nhim of the same promise:For<\/span> he looked for a city\nwhich hath foundations, whose builder and maker is<\/i> God.Through<\/span> faith also Sarah herself received strength to\nconceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she\njudged him faithful who had promised.Therefore<\/span> sprang\nthere even of one, and him as good as dead, so many<\/i> as the\nstars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore\ninnumerable."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\ncovenant we have with Father God through Jesus Christ provides all of this and more.It<\/span> remains for us to receive it all utilizing that\nsame faith that Abraham exercised.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Faith\nis not complicated.Faith<\/span> comes by hearing the Word of\nthe Lord.So<\/span> how do we hear the Word of the Lord?We<\/span> simply open up our spirits to receive from Holy Spirit.It<\/span> isn't difficult, really!We<\/span>\nhave to get the clogs out of the way, however -- the noise and the thoughts and\nthe imaginations that bombard our minds with such repetitiousness and rapidity\nthat we find ourselves in a mental fog.Faith<\/span> comes\neasily to minds that are stayed on the things of God.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

I\nknow I've shared this before, but when you are immersed in negative thoughts,\nthoughts about your family, thoughts about your work, thoughts about your\nresponsibilities, thoughts about your financial situation, thoughts about\nbusiness -- and how about thoughts about some stupid movie or TV program you\nare either watching, or have watched -- thoughts about your physical condition,\nthe aches and pains and\/or diseases and infirmities you are fighting, you can't\nsimply screw up your will power screw and try to change your thoughts.It<\/span> doesn't work that way.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Thoughts\ndon't chase away thoughts.Words<\/span> chase away thoughts!You<\/span> don't try to think your way out of a hole, you\nspeak to it!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And.....you\ncan't just get angry and say, "Get lost!"The Word of God gives us\neverything we need to deal with any situation!Are<\/span> you\nin need of healing?Are<\/span> you fighting with some kind of\nphysical infirmity?Then<\/span> why not speak the Word of God\nover it!There<\/span> are a host of Scriptures which make it\nabundantly clear that our healing and our physical health have already been\npaid for by the Blood of Jesus Christ.How<\/span> about I\nPeter 2:24?How about III John, vs. 2?How about Isaiah 53:5?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

There\nis nothing we have need of that Jesus didn't already pay for by his suffering,\ndeath and resurrection!Got<\/span> it?It<\/span>\ndoesn't matter what your situation is, Jesus already paid for the answer, the\nhealing, the deliverance, the provision IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE!!!And, folks, He\ndeserves to get what He paid for!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Let\nme take a bit of a side-trip here for just a minute.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Ask\nyourself the question.WHY<\/span> did Jesus pay for all of this?Why<\/span> did He pay for our healing?Why<\/span>\ndid He pay for our deliverance from every affliction of the flesh and every\naffliction of the spirit?Why<\/span> did the apostle Paul\nwrite the following?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that,\nthough he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his\npoverty might be rich."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And,\nNO, the phraseology in the Greek text CAN'T be translated "spiritually\nrich."That's not what Paul was talking about!The<\/span>\nword is "plouteo<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>"\nand it means exactly what it says: rich, increased in goods, materially\nprosperous, "loaded" (colloq.)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Let's\ntake it another step.Why<\/span> does Matthew record the\nfollowing?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

"And Jesus came and spake<\/span> unto\nthem, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in\nearth. Go ye therefore<\/u>, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the\nname of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

All\nright.One<\/span> more.Why<\/span> does\nMark record the following?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and\npreach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized\nshall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs\nshall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they\nshall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they\ndrink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the\nsick, and they shall recover."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

To\nrecap, why does Paul record what he recorded (and I've only touched on a\nmicroscopic drop in a ten-gallon bucket); why does Matthew record what Jesus\nsaid; why does Mark record what Jesus said to His followers?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Folks,\nthe answer is obvious, and the answer is simple!Pay<\/span>\nattention, now!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

BECAUSE\nIT IS OUR LEGAL RIGHT!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

OK.\nfor everyone who raised their eyebrows, let me take it the next step.Why<\/span> is this our legal right?Ready<\/span>?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

BECAUSE\nIT IS JESUS' LEGAL RIGHT FOR US TO LIVE AND FUNCTION LIKE THAT!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Hello.Ever<\/span><\/span> stop to think about\nthe fact that salvation is not about getting to Heaven? Salvation, deliverance,\nhealth, healing, long life, safety, peace of mind, provision for every need --\nall these were a part of the way we were first created!We<\/span>\nwere created for fellowship with the Lord God in the first place.He<\/span>\ncreated us for His pleasure!That's<\/span> first and foremost!The<\/span> fact that we get pleasure out of that place of\nrelationship is a natural byproduct of being created in His image and likeness!Heaven<\/span> is only a byproduct of our loving\nrelationship with the Lord.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\nfact that we are entitled to all these things is a natural part of the Law of Reciprocity.OK<\/span>, don't grimace like that.Let<\/span>\nme explain.The<\/span> Law of Reciprocity means that for\nevery action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.Clear<\/span>?\nThen let me put it another way. There are consequences for good or for bad for every\naction we take or reaction to God's Word!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Go\nback to the Garden.What<\/span> was it that God said to Adam?<\/span>"Of every tree of the garden thou mayest<\/span>\nfreely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt<\/span> not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest<\/span> thereof thou shalt<\/span> surely\ndie."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Adam\nand Eve were entitled to eat of the Tree of Life as a natural part of their\nexistence in the Garden.With<\/span> the fruit of that Tree\ncame healing, health, long life, provision for every need, painless and sorrow-less\nlabor and a work-ethic filled with joy and peace.There<\/span>\nwas a consequence that followed the eating of that tree, and that consequence\nis quickly expressed in the Law of Reciprocity.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\nsame was true if they ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.They<\/span> were never designed to acquire knowledge of good\nor of evil by their own mental prowess, experiences or academic study.Knowledge<\/span> (and wisdom) was a natural byproduct of\ntheir walk with -- and fellowship with -- the Lord God.They<\/span>\nwere warned, therefore, that if they deviated from their created design and\nexistence and fellowship with God that a very destructive consequence would\nfollow.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

That\nconsequence was a reciprocal action: the removal of their access to eternity,\nthe decay and ultimate destruction of the genetic makeup they were given at\ncreation resulting in eventual death, along with disease, sickness, painful and\nsorrowful labor just to survive, and the loss of peace in their lives.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Consider,\nthen, the redemptive work that Jesus did on our behalf.His<\/span>\nobjective was to (as Luke so carefully put it)<\/span> <\/span>"seek and to save<\/span> <\/span>(sozo<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> --\nto restore, to make whole, to deliver, etc.<\/span>) that which was\nlost."While the word, "save," has become the byword of so many\npreachers, and so many sermons throughout hundreds of years, the true focus of\n"salvation" has often been overlooked or missed completely. Salvation\nhas been over-generalized as being "saved from sin" while the real\nconcept of sin has gotten lost in the fog.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

What\nAdam and Eve did epitomized "sin." While sin has been categorized as\nlying, stealing, bearing false witness against someone, cheating, committing\nfornication or adultery, committing murder, etc., all those things are really\nnothing more than the symptoms of sin.Lying<\/span>,\ncheating, stealing, etc., all take place almost automatically when a person\ndecides that he\/she is as smart (or smarter) than God and fully capable of making\nhis or her own decisions -- never mind what God is saying, or has said,\nconcerning the act or acts he or she wants to take.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

When\nan individual takes matters into their own hands irrespective of what the Word\nof God is, they've just done the very same thing and thought -- whether\nconsciously or subconsciously -- in exactly the same manner that Lucifer did\nwhen he arrogantly rose up against God, considering himself to be God's equal\nor superior and deciding to thrust God out of His place as Supreme Ruler of the\nuniverse.(See Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Lucifer\nwas not the Creator, he was a created being. The end of his pomposity and\narrogance Isaiah prophesied as Hell.He<\/span> was removed\nfrom his place as an Archangel in Heaven and thrown out, along with all those\nwho took his side.He<\/span> became the epitome of sin.He<\/span> was\/is the architect of all lies and arrogance\nagainst God.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

OK,\nsort of got a bit off-track there, but I wanted to get to the root of what\nJesus came to save us from.Jesus<\/span>' objective was to\nnot only restore us to the place of fellowship and intimacy with<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Father,\nwith Himself and with Holy Spirit, it was to once again make possible, make\naccessible, and put into practical living the naturally supernatural life we\nwere originally created for.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Let's\nget this discussion down to some brass tacks. If we attend church, warm a pew,\nput our checks in the offering basket and\/or teach a Sunday School class, none\nof these things will make the rights of citizenship in the Kingdom of God accessible.We<\/span> can pray for the sick, preach wonderful\nsermons, visit the widows and orphans and minister to the needy and still not\nhave access to our rights as sons of the Kingdom.Notice<\/span>\nthe phrase, "sons of the Kingdom."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

It\nis possible to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers and cast out\ndemons and still die and make it to Heaven as diapered babies in need of\npabulum and milk bottles.Consider<\/span> the parable of the\nten virgins in Matthew 25. Or, let's take it another step. Consider something\nthat Jesus said in His "Sermon on the Mount."(See Matthew 7:22-23)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not\nprophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name\ndone many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew\nyou: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

When\nJesus says, "I never knew you," the Greek word ginosko<\/span><\/i><\/b>appears<\/span>\nhere.What<\/span> He is saying is, "You and I\nhave never had a real relationship. I've never known your love and affection,\nyour faithfulness to Me or to My Word."<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

It\nbecomes even clearer in the very next statement when He says, "Depart\nfrom me, you that work<\/i><\/b> anomia<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> --<\/span> illegally, lawlessly."<\/i><\/b>What is Jesus saying?I<\/span> think the best illustration of this comes from\nActs 19:13-16 where the seven sons of Sceva<\/span>, a Chief\nPriest, thought to use the name of Jesus, and the name of Paul in casting out demons.They<\/span> were attempting to use the name of Jesus as a formula.They<\/span> were not casting out demons IN the name --\nthe onoma<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>:\nthe character, the essence, the makeup -- of Jesus!They<\/span>\nwere working anomia<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>--\nillegally, lawlessly!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

There\nare many professing Christians doing the same today.They<\/span>\ndon't have a personal relationship with the Lord.They<\/span>\nare not operating IN Him, and He is not IN them.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This\nis the crux of all of our rights in Christ Jesus.And<\/span>\nthis is what we need to understand.If<\/span> we will dwell\nIN Him and have our beings as a place He wants to dwell in, there is absolutely\nNOTHING withheld from us.Whenever<\/span> we ask something of\nHim, we will be asking it IN His onoma.He<\/span> will hear us.We<\/span> will KNOW that He hears us.And<\/span>\nwe will have whatever -- whatsoever-- we ask, and He will give it liberally!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Here's\nthe catch.Whatever<\/span> we ask for of Father, whatever we\ndemand of Satan, whatever we require, we do according to and IN the will of God!One<\/span> doesn't have to second-guess or wonder if we are\n"in the will of God."Let me describe the relationship like this.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Della\nand I have a place of relationship in love and trust that she doesn't need to\nask me if doing something is OK with me. She may do it anyway, but by virtue of\nthe Spirit of God we have become One being!She<\/span> knows\nmy thoughts.She<\/span> knows how I will think or how I will\nchoose in virtually any and every circumstance. By the same token, I know how\nshe will choose, how she will think in a given situation or circumstance, and\nwhat she will decide.We<\/span> still ask or discuss things\nwith each other out of common courtesy and love, but our choices and desires\nare no surprise to each other.She<\/span> knows my will, and\nI know her will!It<\/span> just goes with the territory!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

That's\nhow it is supposed to be between us and the Lord.The<\/span>\nmore we press into Him, the more we focus our minds, our thoughts and the words\nthat come out of our mouths on Him, the greater the sense of intimacy between\nus. It is a rare instance that I have to ask the Lord what His will is\nconcerning a decision or needed action.The<\/span> ongoing\ncommunication between us in the realm of the Spirit functions 24 hours a day.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This\nis the place we must live in order to understand and to access all of our\nrights as sons of the Kingdom, as sons and daughters of The Most High!It<\/span> isn't hard to live here, but it takes diligence and\ncommitment on our part. And I'll share one more thing with you before I quit.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n
