It wasn't my objective to continue this\ntopic, but several emails and responses from our readership have suggested that\nI might need to clarify some of the things I said.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p><b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>I also realized that I missed completing a couple of\nthoughts in the first part of this discussion, so -- without being too windy --\nlet's see what we can do to clear things up.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p><span class=SpellE><b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>Gotta<\/span><\/b><\/span><b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'> get our coffee, though.&nbsp; Can't begin this discussion\nwithout it .&nbsp; (<span class=SpellE>Hehehehehehe<\/span>...........)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p><b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Oh, and by the way......GOOD MORNING!&nbsp; Nice to see\nyou today.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Afore we get started, though, you remember my telling you\nabout the backup of raw sewage into the basement of Chris's home when the\nseptic system stopped up?&nbsp; Well, when it rains, it pours.&nbsp; OK, forget\nthat about rain.&nbsp; How about flooding basements.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>I may or may not have mentioned that Chris has had their\nprevious family home in Wasilla, Alaska up for sale.&nbsp; Roughly ten days\nago, he received a phone call from his Alaska realtor to let him know that he\nhad a buyer for the house, and that the buyer wouldn't quibble with Chris's\nasking price.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Four hours later, he received another phone call -- this\ntime to let him know that when the realtor went out to the house, water was\npouring out of the garage and running down the driveway.&nbsp; Turns out that\nthe electrical power went out at the house because of an area-wide\noutage.&nbsp; His furnace was on a 14-hour timer for restarting.&nbsp; The\noutage exceeded 14 hours stopping the restart-timer.&nbsp; (Normally, if the\nfamily had been in the house, they could have manually restarted the furnace\nand prevented a <span class=SpellE>freezeup<\/span>.)<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>The temperature dipped that night to 19 degrees below zero\nand the water jacket around the furnace froze and broke.&nbsp; The temperatures\ncontinued to stay low long enough that the water lines in the walls also broke,\nthe toilets in the two upstairs bathrooms froze and broke the stools, and the\nwater-heated baseboard heaters froze up and broke.&nbsp; When power was\nrestored, the well pump began running, pouring out water through the cracked water\njacket and pipes.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>If I say that the place was a mess, that would be a\nmasterpiece of understatement.&nbsp; By the time the cleanup folks had pumped\nwater out of the downstairs floor, they had taken eight truckloads and 7,800\ngallons of water.&nbsp; And that was just the first round.&nbsp; There was no\npart of the house untouched by the damage -- except for the new kitchen that\nChris and <span class=SpellE>Chelsi<\/span> had just finished a couple months\nago.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>But here's the blessing in disguise.&nbsp; The prospective\npurchaser of the house agreed that if the insurance company would completely\nrestore the place including replacing the now-destroyed furnace, she would up\nthe purchase offer by $16,000.&nbsp; Chris was notified in the last three days\nthat the insurance company will cover everything.&nbsp; It will take them\ntwo-to-three months to complete the restoration of the place, but the sale of\nthe house will go through by March 15.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>I know that the Scripture instructs us,&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#192763'>&quot;In everything give thanks, for this is the will of\nGod in Christ Jesus concerning you.&quot;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style='font-size:\n10.0pt;font-family:\"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><span style='font-size:\n13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>&nbsp;(I\nThessalonians 5:18 KJV)&nbsp; Nevertheless, this is one time when I would\nfreely render that verse, &quot;FOR everything give thanks.&quot;&nbsp; If ever\nthere was a time when a set of events was designed to drive Chris over the\nbrink of despair, this was it.&nbsp; Yet the Lord turned the seeming disaster\naround and increased the sale price of his home in the process.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>All I can say is, WOW!&nbsp; <span class=SpellE>Ain't<\/span>\nGod good?&nbsp; This kid is blessed, let me tell you!<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>We began our last discussion with a quote from Isaiah (9th\nchapter) where he said,&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#008400'>&quot;For\nunto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and&nbsp;<u>the government\nshall be upon his shoulder<\/u>: and his name shall be called Wonderful, <span\nclass=SpellE>Counsellor<\/span>, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The\nPrince of Peace.&nbsp;&nbsp;<u>Of the increase of his government and peace\nthere shall be no end<\/u>, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to\norder it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth\neven <span class=SpellE>for ever<\/span>. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will\nperform this.&quot;<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial'>Isaiah's prophecy clearly states that the government (of the earth)\nwould be upon the shoulder of the Messiah, the Anointed One; and that His\ngovernment would never end.&nbsp; Take that statement in history's context and\nyou begin to realize that every government that has ever existed has rested --\nin one way or another -- upon the shoulders of the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial'>But wait!&nbsp; The apostle Paul clarifies this picture.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#008400'>[The God of our Lord Jesus Christ]\nmade Him [Jesus] to sit at His right hand in the heavenly places,&nbsp;<u>far\nabove all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is\nnamed, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come<\/u>: and He\nput all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him to be head&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#008400'>(<\/span><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#192763'>the Greek word for &quot;head&quot; <span\nclass=SpellE>is<i><span style='color:red'>kephale<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#008400'>)<b>&nbsp;over all things to the church, which is His\nbody, the <span class=SpellE>fulness<\/span> of Him that <span class=SpellE>filleth<\/span>\nall in all.<\/b><\/span><\/i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#192763'>&quot;&nbsp;<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>&nbsp;(Ephesians 1:16-23 NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>J. H. Thayer, in his commentary concerning the word &quot;<\/span><span\nclass=SpellE><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:red'>kephale<\/span><\/i><\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>&quot;&nbsp;[<\/span><span style='font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>see The New Thayer's Greek-English\nLexicon<\/span><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>] tells us that this word is both literal\nand metaphorical.&nbsp; Literally, of course, it refers specifically to one's\nhead.&nbsp; Here, he writes,&nbsp;<\/span><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#5A5A2E'>&quot;Since\nthe loss of the head destroys the life, <span class=SpellE>kephale<\/span> is\nused&quot;<\/span><\/i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>&nbsp;to denote authority, headship\nand&nbsp;<\/span><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#5A5A2E'>&quot;in phrases relating to capital\nand extreme punishment.&quot;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Thayer says, however, that&nbsp;<\/span><span class=SpellE><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:red'>kephale<\/span><\/i><\/span><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>&nbsp;--\nspeaking metaphorically -- is &quot;<\/span><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#5A5A2E'>anything\nsupreme, chief, prominent; of persons, master, lord.&quot;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>OK.&nbsp; Now that we've done this picture of Jesus as the\n&quot;head&quot; of the church (<\/span><span style='font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>more accurately, the<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial'>&nbsp;<span class=SpellE><i><span style='color:red'>Ekklesia<\/span><\/i><\/span>,&nbsp;<\/span><span\nstyle='font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>since\nthere was no such thing as what we have known and come to call\n&quot;church&quot; for nearly two centuries after Jesus' death and resurrection<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>), which is&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#008400'>&quot;His\nbody, the <span class=SpellE>fulness<\/span> of Him that <span class=SpellE>filleth<\/span>\nall in all,&quot;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>&nbsp;it becomes very obvious that\nthe &quot;body&quot; also consists of the &quot;shoulders,&quot; since they are\nnot part of the head itself.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Because we are all parts of the body, the responsibility\nhas been given over to us.&nbsp; The Head -- the Lord Jesus Christ -- has given\na direct command to the body.&nbsp; It is, therefore, the reflexive response to\nthe Head that the body obeys the commands from the head.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>One of those commands is the responsibility for\ngovernment(s).&nbsp; Ultimately, there is only one REAL government in the earth\n-- the Kingdom of God -- but every earthly and civic government is answerable\nto the Kingdom of God.&nbsp; Maybe I'm belaboring this point, but you certainly\nhave the picture by now.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>That takes us to Paul's command in his first letter to\nTimothy.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\n\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#008400'>&quot;I exhort\ntherefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving\nof thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority;\nthat we made lead a quiet and peaceable life in all Godliness and\nhonesty.&nbsp; For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our <span\nclass=SpellE>Saviour<\/span>; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come\nunto the knowledge of the truth.&quot;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>(I Timothy 2:1-4)<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Peter, in his second general epistle to the body of Christ\nrefers to&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#008400'>&quot;them that walk after the flesh\nin the lust of uncleanness, and despise government.&nbsp; Presumptuous are\nthey, <span class=SpellE>selfwilled<\/span>, they are not afraid to speak evil\nof dignities.&quot;&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>&nbsp;(II\nPeter 2:10)<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>I'll comment further momentarily on Peter's admonition,\nbut let me pause for just a second to point out that the Biblical command to\nbelievers is <span class=SpellE>to<b><i><span style='color:#008400'>&quot;pray<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span><\/span><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#008400'>....for kings, and for all that are in authority.&quot;<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Nowhere in God's Word is permission given to us to speak\nevil of those in public office -- no matter how unrighteous they may be.&nbsp;\n(If you remember the example of David and Saul, he refused to speak evil of\nSaul even though Saul continued to try to have him killed.)&nbsp; Yet that is\nexactly what we have surrounding us.&nbsp; It seems that no matter where you go\nin the body of Christ, someone who professes a relationship with Jesus Christ\nmakes no bones about castigating and name-calling various leaders whether that\nleader happens to be the local Sheriff, or a member of the state or provincial\nhouse (or houses) of representatives, or even the President, Prime Minister or\nwhatever.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>We've just passed what we call here in the United States\nas &quot;Super Tuesday&quot; in which roughly half of the delegates from each\nof the two major political parties were chosen.&nbsp; It resulted in a\nsubsequent winnowing of the candidates, with each party now having two viable\ncandidates for the office of President.&nbsp; It would be easy for me to tell\nyou who I think you ought to vote for, but that's not what this Coffee Break is\nabout.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>What I'm dealing with -- and what the Holy Spirit has been\ninstructing me to share -- is the necessity of our voting according to the\ndirection of the Holy Spirit in conjunction with what God's Word says about the\nissues the various candidates are discussing.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Paul hits the nail on the head in his letter to Timothy\nwhen he commands us to pray, intercede and give thanks&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#008400'>&quot;for all men&quot;&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>BEFORE he likewise instructs us to pray for kings and all\nthat are in authority.&nbsp; Ever wonder about that?&nbsp; Let me pose\nsomething for you to consider.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Whether Christian or non-Christian, believer or\nnon-believer, we are commanded to pray for everyone.&nbsp; And that command\ncomes in the context of praying for our leaders.&nbsp; If Christians would\nspend a little more time in prayer and intercession for &quot;all men&quot; AND\nTHEN pray for their presidents, their prime ministers, their kings, their\nsenators, representatives or political delegates, we might just see a very\ndifferent outcome in our electoral processes.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>By our prayer and intercession for all men, we obey Jesus'\ninstruction (see Matthew 6:7-15) to first of all declare, to command, to pray\nin a place of intimate communion (<\/span><span style='font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>the Greek word in this text is<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:\"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><span\nclass=SpellE><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:red'>proseuchomai<\/span><\/i><\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:\"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><span\nstyle='font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#003300'>--\na word which means to ask, to request, to require in the place of communion<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>), the operation of the <span class=SpellE>rulership<\/span>\nof God's Kingdom here in the earthly realms in the same dimension in which we\nsee it as accomplished in Heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Understand?&nbsp; Jesus finished His part of this.&nbsp;\nIn Hebrews 1:3 and 10:12-14, the Scripture makes abundantly clear that Jesus\naccomplished what He was sent to do, and then sat down at the right hand of\nGod, from that moment forward expecting to see what He had established come to\npass.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>The command was given for us to do the praying, for us to\ndo the declaring, for us to do the commanding, for us to complete that which He\nset in motion.&nbsp; We are His body.&nbsp; We are the completion of Him.&nbsp;\nWe are the finishing of His authority in the earth.&nbsp; Nothing will happen\nhere unless we fulfill our part of this picture.&nbsp; Jesus has done His\npart.&nbsp; The rest is up to us, and He has given us ALL AUTHORITY to complete\nthat work.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>When we pray, declare, command, and confess the\nestablishing of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven, we begin by\nfirst of all offering prayer, intercession and the giving of thanks for all men\nso that the Will of God goes forth among men.&nbsp; Next we pray for kings,\npresidents, governors, etc., and ALL who are in authority.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Of necessity, that MUST include prayers offered up for\nthose who are running for the office of President.&nbsp; Some of my\nfellow-conservatives will drop their jaw, I'm sure, when I say that they need\nto be lifting up those candidates whose political agenda is diametrically\nopposite to everything they stand for.&nbsp; And yet that is exactly what the\nLord is requiring of us.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Think about this for a second.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>If I only pray for those candidates (or THE candidate) I\nsupport for President, and ignore the others, what happens if one of those\n&quot;others&quot; gets elected instead of my candidate?&nbsp; Huh?&nbsp;\nHuh?&nbsp; Huh?&nbsp; Do I get left out in the cold?<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Nope!&nbsp; I continue to pray as directed by the Holy\nSpirit in agreement with God's Word.&nbsp; And in the meantime, before I go\ninto the voting booth to cast my ballot (we vote by mail here in Washington,\nand Della and I have already cast our ballots), I'd best know the heart of the\nFather (and He has revealed His heart and purpose in His Word).<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>Here's a last thing for you to consider as we wrap up for\ntoday.&nbsp; I said I'd get back to Peter's admonition and instruction.&nbsp;\nWithin a political context, Peter speaks of Balaam the O.T. prophet who was\nhired to prophesy against Israel, and refers to folks today just like him.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#008400'>&quot;These are wells without water,\nclouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is\nreserved for ever.&nbsp; For when they speak great swelling words of vanity,\nthey allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that\nwere clean escaped from them who live in error.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#008400'>&quot;While they promise them\nliberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: <span class=SpellE>for<\/span>\nof whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.&nbsp; We are supposed to be\nthe manifestation of the Glory of God -- not leftover has-beens, used up and discarded\nby Satan.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#003300'>The Blessing of the Lord: it makes rich and adds no\npainful toil and sorrow!&nbsp;
