\n( 1 CORINTHIANS 14:12 *NKJV )
\n 
\nDearly Beloved,
\nThe Name's<\/span> and Numbers used in the Scriptures have
\nspiritual significance. Thus knowing what they mean can
\nhelp one study the Word with a deeper understanding! 
\n
\nSo Today Beloved, we will take a look at some
\ninstances of numbers used representatively, and thus
\nprobably by Divine design. 
\n
\nONE: Denotes unity, and commencement. Such as the
\nfirst day (GEN 1:5) 
\n
\nTWO: Denotes opposition, enmity, and division. It can
\nalso mean 'difference," for it is written that if two people both
\nagree in testimony it is conclusive.
\n(DEUT 17.,6 & DEUT 19:15)
\n
\nTHREE: Denotes Divine perfection and completeness. 
\nSuch as The Father, Son & Holy Spirit, often called the
\n"Holy Trinity."
\n
\nFOUR: Denotes things of the Earth. Such as The Four 
\nWinds (DAN 7:2); the Four corners of the Earth. (ISA II: 1 2)
\nthe Four rivers that flowed out of the Garden of Eden.
\n(GEN 2:10-14) and of course the Four Horsemen of the
\nApocalypse. (REV 6:1-8)
\n
\nThe most significant multiple of four is Forty, which means
\n"Probation." Such as rain flood the Earth for Forty days
\n(GEN 7:12) The children wondered the wilderness for Forty
\nyears.( EX 16:35), and Jesus withstood satan's<\/span>\ntemptations
\nfor Forty days. (MARK 1: 1 3).
\n
\nFIVE:\nDenotes               
\n
\nSIX: Denotes the human number. It is the hallmark
\nof mankind, God created man on the Sixth day (GEN 1-27-31);
\nman works six days a week. The hours of our day are a
\nmultiple of the number Six. Also the great men in the Bible
\nthat stood out against God (Goliath, Nebuchadnezzar, and the
\nsatan<\/span> ) are all emphatically marked with the number\nSix.
\n(REV 13:18)
\n
\nSEVEN: Denotes spiritual perfection. It is the hallmark of 
\nthe Holy Spirit at work. Also the number Seven is the number 
\nwhich regulates every period of Incubation and Gestation,
\nin insects, birds, animals, and mankind.
\n
\nEIGHT: Denotes a new beginning.
\n
\nNINE Denotes finality or judgment. The number Nine
\nis seen in all cases when judgment is the subject.
\n
\nTEN: Denotes Ordinal Perfection. Such as the Ten
\nCommandments ( EX 20:2-17) It is another new first after
\nthe Ninth digit, when numeration commences anew.
\n
\nELEVEN: Denotes disorder, and disorganization. (2 KINGS 25:2)
\nand (JER 52:5)
\n
\nTWELVE: Denotes Governmental perfection. It is the number or
\nfactor of things that have to do with government in the Heavens
\nand on Earth. Such as The Twelve Tribes of Israel, ( GEN 49:28)
\nand Twelve Apostles. (MARK 3:14) etc.
\n
\nTHIRTEEN: Denotes rebellion. It is written: "In the thirteenth year
\nthey rebelled' (GEN 14:4)
\n
\nNow Beloved, I hope that will help you find a deeper level of 
\nunderstanding when you read the Bible. Have a Wonderful Week,

My Children<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

\u201cAnd he arose, and came to his\nfather. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had\ncompassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.\u201d \u2013 Luke 15:20<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

A few years ago, in our son's\nmailbox there was a letter addressed, \u00e2€œTo the Parents of _______\n[our son's name],\u00e2€\u009d so he dutifully gave it to us. It was information\nabout a student loan. We all had a good laugh about it because this student\nwas now a grown man! He had recently decided to go back to school\nbecause he felt he could now give it his undivided attention.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Actually, it felt good to read the\nwords \u201cTo the Parents of.\u201d It reminded me that no matter how old your children\nare, they are always your children. Wherever they travel, your heart and\nprayers go with them. If they suffer pain, you suffer also. You are always\nconcerned with their decisions and plans, though you no longer make decisions\nfor them. It is impossible to become an \u201cunparent<\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This even holds true for a child who\nmakes poor choices in life. Today's focus verse comes from the story of the\nProdigal Son, who decided to take his inheritance early and leave home. The\nyoung man chose a destructive lifestyle, and although Scripture does not say\nwhat the father felt, we can imagine his heartbreak. By the fact that the\nfather was watching for his wayward son's return, we know that his love was\nsteadfast in spite of his son's actions.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

When we surrender our lives to God\nand ask Jesus to be our Savior, we become children of God (Romans 8:16). Being\nhuman, the only way we can begin to comprehend the great love God has for His\nchildren is to relate it to how we feel about our own children. Yet God's love\nis far greater.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

If God loves us so much that He\nwould give His only begotten Son, Jesus, to suffer and die on a cross, then\nimagine how He must hurt when a person chooses to turn away from Him. Knowing\nthat one is headed toward a lost eternity, He grieves even more than we do.\nLike us, God cannot forget even the ones who decide to leave Him.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The Bible says that God is not\nwilling that any should perish. When we pray for our unsaved children, we can\nclaim promises in God's Word and trust that He is calling after them. Though\nthey make poor decisions, we never stop loving them, and neither will God. He\nwants them to be in His care even more than we do.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n
