Some clarifications are in order, and I'd like to\nencourage all those of you who believed or hoped (as I must confess I did) that\nJohn McCain would be elected.<\/span><\/b><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Prophecy is a realm which marries the invisible -- that\nis, the future events we've not yet experienced -- with the visible -- the\nrealm where we currently live and function.&nbsp; It is a dimension which\noperates in, through, and by the Holy Spirit.&nbsp; It is the means by which\nGod directs the paths of His people, and prepares them in advance in such a way\nthat they will walk according to His Will and Word in the face of totally (and\nvisibly) contrary circumstances.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Those of us who have spent our lives in this realm\nsometimes know things because we actually see them in vision form (or repeated\ndreams) or perhaps because the Holy Spirit transports us (in the Spirit) into\nthe future and <span class=GramE>allows<\/span> us to see things\nunfolding.&nbsp; Many times we know things because of mental pictures that grip\nus in such a way that these impressions simply won't go away.&nbsp; Other times\nit is a very quiet voice speaking in our spirits.&nbsp; It is sometimes so\nquick and so quiet we almost want to ignore it (and sometimes do, unfortunately).<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>One constant in all of these events is the peace of God\nthat encompasses us, no matter what we see, feel or experience.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>I've said all that to say this: despite my hope and desire\nthat John McCain would be elected, there was no Word in my spirit that said\nso.&nbsp; I wanted to prophesy it, but couldn't because it just wasn't\nthere!&nbsp; What the Holy Spirit WAS saying to me was,&nbsp;<\/span><em><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;color:#00CC00'>&quot;All is well!&nbsp; I'm going to\nuse this election for my Glory.&quot;<\/span><\/em><em><span style='font-size:\n10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:#00CC00'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/em><span\nstyle='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:#00CC00'>&nbsp;<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>Was the McCain-<span class=SpellE>Palin<\/span> ticket God's\nchoice for <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\n  font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>?&nbsp; Yes, but God will not violate the will of men.&nbsp; To\ndo so would make His Covenant null and void.&nbsp; It would render His Word a\nlie.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>The spiritual principle important for us to remember is\ndefined in Psalm 115:16 where the Psalmist David declares,&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:maroon'>&quot;The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S; but the earth\nhath He given to the children of men.&quot;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>&nbsp; In case the point isn't obvious, God rules in the affairs\nof Heaven, but He makes men responsible for all that takes place on\nearth.&nbsp; Hence, God's Will may be for certain individuals to be seated in\ngovernment, but unless men know the Will of God and cooperate with Him, they\nget what they choose (and deserve)!&nbsp; <span class=GramE>More on this in a\nmoment.<\/span><\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>John McCain served as a focal point for the people of\nGod.&nbsp; Though an imperfect man, and one that many conservatives really\nstruggled with because of past political choices, he nevertheless became the\nreference for those who chose righteousness to lead this nation.&nbsp; When it\ncame to the issues that mattered most to committed, Spirit-filled believers,\nJohn McCain stood for life, for the integrity of God's Word concerning\nmarriage, for the absolute stalwart defense of Israel, and -- most of all --\nfor the cleaning up of the Judiciary by appointing judges and justices to the\nSupreme Court who would not alter our nation's Constitution by judicial\nfiat.&nbsp;<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Sarah <span class=SpellE>Palin's<\/span> addition to the\nticket galvanized millions of people who might have otherwise stayed home and\nvoted by not voting.&nbsp; Her uncompromising stance on every issue of\nimportance to Christians, along with her unabashed testimony as a Holy\nSpirit-baptized Christian made her the one single force which caused previously\nundecided voters to throw their support to the McCain-<span class=SpellE>Palin<\/span>\nticket.&nbsp; Was Sarah <span class=SpellE>Palin<\/span> God's choice to serve\nthis nation?&nbsp; Yes, and despite the outcome of this election, she will yet\nserve God's plans and purposes for <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>.&nbsp; It is important, however, not to attach our preconceived\nnotions of how, where and when God is doing this.&nbsp; Sarah will play a big\npart of <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\n  font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>'s future, and we've not even yet begun to see how.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>As Roberto <span class=SpellE>Matus<\/span> expressed it a\ncouple of days ago (Roberto heads up a marketplace ministry effort here that we\nknow as Transformation Sunnyside) like this: never before in the history of\nthis nation have so many eyes of the world been focused on the Presidency of\nthe <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\n  font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>United States<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>.&nbsp; Never before have we seen so much focus put on a single\nman.&nbsp; <span class=SpellE>Barack<\/span> <span class=SpellE>Obama's<\/span>\nelection has made him become the focal point of the entire world.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Had John McCain been elected to the Presidency, we would\nnot have anything close to the attention we now have.&nbsp; This may seem like\na strange thing -- and a hard thing for many Christians who are presently in a\nstate of shock -- but God is going to use <span class=SpellE>Barack<\/span> <span\nclass=SpellE>Obama's<\/span> election to spur a move of God in America that\nmight never have happened had John McCain been elected.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>This is NOT a time for Christians to be wringing their\nhands.&nbsp;&nbsp;This is a time to wake up and realize God's people had best\nbe on their knees interceding for <span class=SpellE>Barack<\/span> <span\nclass=SpellE>Obama<\/span>, for the choosing of advisors and cabinet members,\nand for this nation.&nbsp; God has purposed blessing and restoration for <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>.&nbsp; That is His Will and heart's desire.&nbsp; Whether it\ncomes in this two- or four-year electoral cycle or whether it waits for another\ntime when believers are awakened to the fact that they chose a leader based on\n&quot;likeability&quot; rather than experience and a track record Christians\ncould stand behind remains yet to be determined.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>You'll recall that in one of our last Coffee Breaks, Della\nand I both noted that God would hold us accountable for our vote -- that if we\nvoted for righteous leadership, regardless of the election outcome, we would\nexperience the blessing and provision of the Lord in the years to come\nregardless of the prevailing economy or national circumstances; and that if we\nvoted for unrighteous leadership, we would suffer the consequences.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>A picture of this is revealed in I Samuel 8.&nbsp; Samuel\nwas the Judge and Prophet in <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>, and he had judged the nation as God's appointed and anointed\nrepresentative for decades.&nbsp; Samuel's sons were not following in his\nfootsteps and no clear leader had emerged to take his place.&nbsp; <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> saw how the surrounding nations were ruled by kings.&nbsp; They\nsaw and liked the fact that these nations -- despite the fact that the kings of\nthose nations were frequently cruel and wicked -- had someone&nbsp;<b>visible<\/b>&nbsp;(and\nthis is an important concept) who could fight their battles and make decisions\nfor them without their taking any responsibility.&nbsp; Though God's leadership\nin <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\n  font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> was very apparent to those who had spiritual eyes to see,\nhaving a judge who simply spoke for God wasn't quite the same.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Kings, you see, can be admired and praised when they rule\nwell; and they can be blamed when things go wrong.&nbsp; Having a king meant\nthat individuals didn't have to take responsibility for themselves.&nbsp; If\nthey had a need, they simply presented it to the king expecting he would take\ncare of things.&nbsp; If things went sour or the nation suffered defeat or\nhumiliation at the hands of other nations and kings, &quot;it was the king's\nfault,&quot; not theirs personally.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Having a judge who was also a Prophet and spokesman for\nGod just wasn't the same!&nbsp; He required individual responsibility, and that\nwas something the people of <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> were trying to avoid so they could justify (or at least ignore)\ntheir sins without personal accountability.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Samuel well knew what it would mean for <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> to become like other nations and he grieved in his spirit at\nthe very thought of it.&nbsp; God spoke to him and told him to relax -- that <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> wasn't rejecting Samuel personally, they were rejecting God's\nleadership and sovereignty in their affairs.&nbsp; He instructed Samuel to\nanoint a king to lead them, but at the same time to warn them of the\nconsequences of their &quot;vote&quot; for a king.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Thus God gave <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> exactly what they voted on -- a king who would tax them to\ndeath in order to support himself and his lifestyle, a king who would take\ntheir young men and their young women for servants, slaves and soldiers,\nconscripting them to a life and lifestyle not of their own choosing.&nbsp; This\nking would build a government which would steal the best of their farms, their\nvineyards, the harvests which came of their hard labors, and give those things\nto those who served his interests and whims.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Any of this <span class=GramE>sound<\/span> familiar?<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>God gave to <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> as its first king, Saul.&nbsp; He looked and sounded great to\nbegin with, but it wasn't long before he was living and ruling under the\ndominion of demons, bringing a curse upon <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> in the meantime.&nbsp; The power he had as <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>'s king went to his head and he began to consider himself as the\nequal of Samuel when it came to acting as a priest and usurping authority God\nhad not given him.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>I was personally astounded to learn that 43% of those\npeople in America who profess to have submitted to Jesus Christ, His Word and\nHis authority, acknowledging Him as their Lord and Savior, voted for a leader\nwhose public pronouncements made him a supporter of the willful and\npremeditated murder of unborn children, whose public statements and voting\nrecord declared that he would encourage and support a homosexual agenda in\nclear violation of God's Word and Will, and who -- like the kings of old --\nwould tax and spend the people's money like a drunken sailor.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Their votes for him were made -- just as <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Israel<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>'s votes were -- in direct defiance of God's Word and His Will\nfor this nation.&nbsp; How could such a thing be?&nbsp; There are a variety of\nanswers -- none of which justify such action.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>One could easily say that many folks are ignorant of God's\nWord concerning when life begins -- just as my opponent in the 2004 election\nwas -- and acted in innocence.&nbsp; No one, however, could pretend ignorance\nof God's Will and Word when it comes to the issue of homosexual activity.&nbsp;\nThe Scriptures -- Old and New Testaments alike -- abound with vehement commands\nagainst men committing sexual acts with men and women committing sexual acts\nwith women.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>When people choose to willingly and willfully ignore God's\nWord and His Will when it is clearly defined and known, that choice becomes an\nact of rebellion.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Saul willfully and purposely violated God's commands to\nhim.&nbsp; God sent Samuel to say to him,&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:maroon'>&quot;Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken\nthan the fat of rams.&nbsp; <span class=GramE>For rebellion is as the sin of\nwitchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.<\/span> Because thou\nhast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being\nking.&quot;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\nGaramond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>(I Samuel 15:22-23)<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>I know there will be those who say that I'm just preaching\njudgment and revenge, but revenge has nothing whatever to do with God's\nWord.&nbsp; There isn't an ounce of revenge.&nbsp; The warning against\nhomosexual acts, for example, is not God's effort to clamp down on the free\nwill of men.&nbsp; It is a warning given in love.&nbsp; It is a warning of the\nhorrible effects and consequences upon the bodies of those who engage in such\nactivity.&nbsp; It is a warning against the mental consequences of such\nactivity and the ripping apart of one's spirit being.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>The warnings are given by the One Who created us in the\nfirst place.&nbsp; We were not created to act or function outside of our\ndestiny.&nbsp; Mankind was designed and created by God for one purpose: so that\nHe could have a family, so that He could have close, intimate fellowship with a\nspecies of being He created to be just like Him.&nbsp; When people act outside\nthat for which they were created and designed, they break down spiritually,\nmentally, and physically.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>That most certainly is&nbsp;<b>NOT<\/b>&nbsp;what God wants\nor desires!<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>It may seem like I've wandered far <span class=SpellE>afield<\/span>,\nbut there is a point to what I'm sharing.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>There were literally tens of millions of people in this\ncountry who fasted, prayed and interceded over this election because they saw\nthe unparalleled danger of <span class=GramE>choosing<\/span> leaders -- and the\nconsequences thereof -- who would take us in a direction in purposeful\nopposition to God's Will and Plan for <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>What happened?&nbsp; Why does it seem that God didn't\nhear?&nbsp; Why did this nation elect someone whose openly professed and\ndeclared intentions were to take <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> down the broad road to destruction?<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Again, the short answer is that God will not violate His\nWord.&nbsp; He will allow men to vote and to choose whomever they will.&nbsp;\nBut there's a caveat here, and it is absolutely vital that those folks who\nchose the heart of God in this election sit up and pay attention.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>God did hear the cries of His people!&nbsp; He did respond\nto the fervent fasting and prayer of millions!&nbsp; Though it appears on the\nsurface that wickedness has won the day, I assure you it has not!&nbsp; Many\nchanges and events are in store for this nation prior to January 20th that <span\nclass=GramE>do<\/span> not appear yet.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>In order to understand what God is saying concerning the\nforthcoming events I need to share one of Isaiah's prophecies and a bit of\nhistory with you.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>In Isaiah 44 and 45, we find the following prophetic\nword:&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:maroon'>&quot;Thus <span class=SpellE>saith<\/span>\nthe LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD\nthat <span class=SpellE>maketh<\/span> all things; that <span class=SpellE>stretcheth<\/span>\nforth the heavens alone; that <span class=SpellE>spreadeth<\/span> abroad the\nearth by myself.........That <span class=SpellE>saith<\/span> of Cyrus, He is my\nshepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou <span\nclass=SpellE>shalt<\/span> be built; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open\nbefore him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go\nbefore thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the\ngates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the\ntreasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou <span\nclass=SpellE>mayest<\/span> know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name,\nam the God of Israel.&nbsp; For Jacob my <span class=SpellE>servant\u00e2<span\nstyle='mso-bidi-font-family:Garamond'>&#128;&#153;s<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/b><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Garamond;\ncolor:maroon'> sake, and <\/span><\/i><\/b><st1:country-region><st1:place><b><i><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Garamond;\n  color:maroon'>Israel<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Garamond;\ncolor:maroon'> mine ele<\/span><\/i><\/b><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:maroon'>ct, I have even\ncalled thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known\nme.&quot;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\nGaramond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>(Isaiah 45:1-4)<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>This prophetic word was delivered by Isaiah in\napproximately 712 BC.&nbsp; There was no leader or king anywhere in the world\nat that time by the name of Cyrus.&nbsp; One hundred fifty-three years later,\nCyrus, the son of <\/span><st1:City><st1:place><span class=SpellE><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>Anshan<\/span><\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>, King of Elam, ascended to the throne upon the death of his\nfather.&nbsp; A military genius of profound abilities and skills, Cyrus within\na few short years had defeated the kings of virtually every surrounding nation\nand created a far-flung <\/span><st1:place><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\n font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>Persian Empire<\/span><\/st1:place><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> the like of which the world had never seen.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>Cyrus' predecessors had always displaced the peoples of\nthe nations they had conquered under the premise that such displacement would\nweaken any chances they would rise up again and regain their sovereignty.&nbsp;\nCyrus disagreed with that policy and began sending people back to their native\nlands.&nbsp; In the first year of his reign (559 BC), Cyrus issued a decree\nthat read:&nbsp;<\/span><b><i><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;\nmso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:maroon'>Thus <span class=SpellE>saith<\/span>\nCyrus king of <\/span><\/i><\/b><st1:country-region><st1:place><b><i><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:maroon'>Persia<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:maroon'>, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given\nme; and he hath charged me to build him <span class=GramE>an<\/span> house in <\/span><\/i><\/b><st1:City><st1:place><b><i><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:maroon'>Jerusalem<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:maroon'>, which is in <\/span><\/i><\/b><st1:country-region><st1:place><b><i><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:maroon'>Judah<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:maroon'>. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be\nwith him, and let him go up.&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>&nbsp;(See II\nChronicles 36:23)<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>It was an astounding proclamation for the Jews who had\nbeen in captivity for 70 years.&nbsp; No one could possibly have comprehended\nthat a ruler would arise out of the old Babylonian empire who would turn out to\nbe the servant of God.&nbsp; The story of Cyrus and how he came to the throne\nis one worthy of telling, but it would sidetrack today's discussion.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>There was nothing Godly about Cyrus' upbringing.&nbsp;\nThere was nothing whatever in his background that would lend one to believe\nthat he -- of all people -- would become the servant and agent of God to\nrestore God's <span class=GramE>people<\/span> their heritage.&nbsp; And yet\nthat's exactly what he did -- 153 years after Isaiah foresaw and foretold it.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><st1:country-region><st1:place><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:\n  Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'> was founded like no other nation on this planet.&nbsp; <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>'s Godly heritage is without peer in the world.&nbsp; God has\nmade certain specific promises to His people -- <\/span><st1:stockticker><span\n style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n color:#333300'>AND<\/span><\/st1:stockticker><span style='font-size:13.5pt;\nfont-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#333300'> He has renewed\nthose promises to an enormous company of people in this nation who've spent\nuncounted hours in prayer and fasting and intercession over <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>'s future.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>There is nothing whatever in <span class=SpellE>Barack<\/span>\n<span class=SpellE>Obama's<\/span> past that would lend itself to encouragement\nfor today's committed, believing Christian concerning <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>'s future.&nbsp; Yet in many ways, he will turn out to be like\nCyrus.&nbsp; God has promised His people that he will bring change to <span\nclass=SpellE>Barack<\/span> <span class=SpellE>Obama<\/span> in such a way as to\ndefeat the plans of Satan for <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>'s destruction.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>What the Enemy has planned for <\/span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span\n  style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\n  color:#333300'>America<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region><span\nstyle='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;\ncolor:#333300'>'s evil, God is turning for righteousness' sake.&nbsp; The very\npeople who thought (and hoped) <span class=SpellE>Obama<\/span> would bring\nsweeping change to this nation in opening wide the doors for abortion,\nhomosexuality, assisted suicide, hopes for a Palestinian nation at the cost of\nIsrael's promises from God, and courts filled with revisionist judges will\nbecome <span class=SpellE>Obama's<\/span> greatest detractors and hate him with\nthe same fervency they've hated George Bush.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:Garamond;mso-bidi-font-family:\nArial;color:#333300'>There's one caveat to this, folks.&nbsp;
