 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

One more story before we get started\ntoday, if you don\u2019t mind, about our granddaughter, Jasmine.\u00a0 <\/span>Without getting into a lot of unnecessary\ndetail, she has sort of been \u201cthe odd man out,\u201d to use an old clich\u00e9.\u00a0 <\/span>She came into the family after the other\nchildren were already on the scene and struggled initially to gain acceptance\nwith the other children, as well as many of her peers.\u00a0 <\/span>The consequence of it was that she became\nvery territorial.\u00a0 <\/span>Her things were her\nthings, and she was slow to share with her brothers and her younger sister.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

Last week, I told you about the\ndeliverance prayers that took place a few Sundays ago around the breakfast\ntable.\u00a0 <\/span>Jasmine, Alden and Elijah have\nall been going to the Sylvan Learning Center in order to play catch-up\nacademically.\u00a0 <\/span>At the end of each week at\nSylvan, each one of them are given what amounts to credits that they can spend\non some toy or special item in Sylvan\u2019s \u201cstore.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

Elijah and Alden have not been\nsavers, and they have been quick to spend their credits every week.\u00a0 <\/span>Jasmine, on the other hand, has literally\nsaved every credit since beginning at Sylvan Learning Center.\u00a0 <\/span>Last Saturday, Jasmine decided it was time to\nspend her credits which, by now, were pretty considerable.\u00a0 <\/span>She went through the \u201cstore\u201d and picked out\nthree items \u2013 the total of which, literally spent every credit she had.\u00a0 <\/span>She kept them in a bag concealed from her\nbrothers and when she got home, she asked me for some paper and some paper that\nshe could wrap these items with.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

At an appropriate moment, she\nbrought them out and presented gifts to each of her brothers and her\nsister.\u00a0 <\/span>She had kept nothing for\nherself.\u00a0 <\/span>It was a demonstration of a\nplace of deliverance that had taken place in her \u2013 and I have to tell you,\nDella and I were quite overwhelmed at what took place.\u00a0 <\/span>It was another \u201cPraise the Lord\u201d moment!<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

As\nnoted in last week\u2019s discussion, we\u2019ve barely scratched the surface of this\nrevelation of the anointing.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m not\nsure I can cover everything we need to discuss today, and if this extends\nacross another week or two, you\u2019ll understand once we get underway.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Let\u2019s\nretrace some steps that we covered last week beginning with Ezekiel\u2019s prophecy.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Ezekiel 28:12-19<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0\n<\/span><\/span>Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus<\/span>, and say unto him, Thus saith<\/span>\nthe Lord GOD; Thou sealest<\/span> up the sum, full of\nwisdom, and perfect in beauty.\u00a0 <\/span>Thou hast\nbeen in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was<\/i> thy covering,\nthe sardius<\/span>, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the\nonyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold:\nthe workmanship of thy tabrets<\/span> and of thy pipes was prepared\nin thee in the day that thou wast<\/span> created.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Thou art<\/i> the anointed cherub that covereth<\/span>;\nand I have set thee so<\/i>: thou wast<\/span> upon the\nholy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones\nof fire.\u00a0 <\/span>Thou wast<\/i><\/span>\nperfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast<\/span>\ncreated, till iniquity was found in thee.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst\nof thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as\nprofane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub,\nfrom the midst of the stones of fire.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Thine<\/span><\/span>\nheart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by\nreason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee\nbefore kings, that they may behold thee.\u00a0\n<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine<\/span> iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore\nwill I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I\nwill bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold\nthee.\u00a0 <\/span>All they that know thee among the\npeople shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt<\/span> be a\nterror, and never shalt<\/i><\/span> thou be<\/i> any\nmore.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

There\nis a rather interesting phrase \u2013 and one peculiar to Hebrew phraseology -- that\noccurs twice in Ezekiel\u2019s prophecy.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

What\nthe Lord is saying is this, <\/span>\u201dThou art<\/i> the anointed\ncherub that covereth<\/span>; and I have set thee so<\/i>:\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Then He says, <\/span>\u201cI\nwill destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\nfirst thing we see is that Lucifer was <\/span>\u201cthe anointed cherub\nthat covereth<\/span>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The Lord says that <\/span>\u201cI\nhave set thee so.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The construction of\nthe Hebrew here is what we need to understand, and that understanding has to\ncome in the context of what we are seeing and hearing.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This\n\u201ccherub\u201d was anointed to \u201ccover\u201d the Throne of God.\u00a0 <\/span>The Lord says of him, <\/span>\u201dthe\nworkmanship of thy tabrets<\/span> and of thy pipes was\nprepared in thee in the day that thou wast<\/span> created.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\nKJV rather obscures the significance of the Hebrew.\u00a0 <\/span>Where we read the word, \u201cworkmanship,\u201d the\nHebrew word here is, <\/span>m<\/span><\/i><\/b>e<\/span><\/i><\/b>la.kah<\/span><\/i><\/b>, and it actually\ntranslates as <\/span>\u201cministry.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>It means: <\/span>to be\ncommissioned, to be deputized, to be employed for a specific purpose<\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Now,\nput that within the framework of God\u2019s statement that he was anointed.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Next,\nconsider the two words that describe what kind of ministry he was anointed for:\n\u201ctabrets<\/span> and pipes.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/span>The Lord is describing musical instruments.\u00a0 <\/span>When you put all of Ezekiel\u2019s prophecy in its\nproper context, you see that Lucifer was anointed to \u201ccover\u201d the Throne with\npraise and worship.\u00a0 <\/span>In fact, the Hebrew\nword translated in the KJV as \u201ccovereth<\/span>\u201d is, \u201c<\/span>sakak<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/span>It has a broad range of meanings, but it literally means: <\/span>to fence\nin, to hedge in, to defend, to protect, to entwine, to cover over<\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Do\nyou see it?\u00a0 <\/span>Lucifer\u2019s ministry was to\ncover the Throne of God with praise and worship, to hedge it in, to literally\nentwine Father with the continuous sound of praise and worship.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Notice\nthat one of the primary meanings of <\/span>sakak<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> is: <\/span>to protect<\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

David\ncertainly understood the protective nature of praise and worship!\u00a0 <\/span>The Psalms are filled from one end to the\nother with descriptions of the defense, the protection that David knew in\npraise and worship.\u00a0 <\/span>We don\u2019t think of it\nin those realms, and certainly not with respect to God, but this is something\nthat we live and experience on a day-to-day basis because of the nature of our\nbusiness and labors for the Kingdom.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Before\nwe take this the next step, consider Isaiah\u2019s prophecy.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Isaiah 14:5-20<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0\n<\/span><\/span>The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and<\/i> the sceptre<\/span> of the rulers.\u00a0\n<\/span>He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled\nthe nations in anger, is persecuted, and<\/i> none hindereth<\/span>.\n<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/sup>The\nwhole earth is at rest, and<\/i> is quiet: they break forth into\nsinging.\u00a0 <\/span>Yea, the fir trees rejoice at\nthee, and<\/i> the cedars of Lebanon, saying<\/i>, Since thou art laid\ndown, no feller is come up against us.\u00a0\n<\/span>Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee<\/i> at thy coming:\nit stirreth<\/span> up the dead for thee, even<\/i> all the\nchief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of\nthe nations.\u00a0 <\/span>All they shall speak and\nsay unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto\nus?\u00a0 <\/span>Thy pomp is brought down to the\ngrave, and<\/i> the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and\nthe worms cover thee.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how<\/i>\nart thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/sup>For thou hast said in\nthine<\/span> heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt\nmy throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the\ncongregation, in the sides of the north:\u00a0\n<\/span>I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most\nHigh.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Yet thou shalt<\/span> be brought down to\nhell, to the sides of the pit.\u00a0 <\/span>They that\nsee thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and<\/i> consider thee, saying, Is<\/i>\nthis the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;\u00a0 <\/span>That<\/i> made the world as a wilderness,\nand destroyed the cities thereof; that<\/i> opened not the house of his\nprisoners?\u00a0 <\/span>All the kings of the nations,\neven<\/i> all of them, lie in glory, every one<\/span> in\nhis own house.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and\nas<\/i> the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that\ngo down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase<\/span>\ntrodden under feet.\u00a0 <\/span>Thou shalt<\/span> not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast\ndestroyed thy land, and<\/i> slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall\nnever be renowned.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

We\nwon\u2019t take time to go into all of the aspects of the judgment pronounced upon\nLucifer, and the judgments and curses that came upon those who followed him (as\nwell as those who follow him and his example today), but think about the\noverall context of what took place when he was thrown out of Heaven.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

He\nlost his place around the Throne.\u00a0 <\/span>He\nlost the right to be entwined with the Lord God in the midst of praise and\nworship.\u00a0 <\/span>He lost that place of\nprotection and covering for which he had been anointed.\u00a0 <\/span>He had corrupted praise and worship, and with\nit, the sound in music generally.\u00a0 <\/span>In\nIsaiah\u2019s prophecy, he refers to <\/span>\u201cthe noise of thy\nviols.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>This word, \u201cviols,\u201d comes from the Hebrew, <\/span>nebel<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>, which is a word for the lyre, the harp \u2014\nstringed instruments in general.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Allow\nme to digress for just a minute to give you an example.\u00a0 <\/span>Throughout the Word, we have musical\nfrequencies which abound.\u00a0 <\/span>For example,\nthe sound of creation in Genesis is based on what we consider to be the key of\n\u201cA\u201d on the piano.\u00a0 <\/span>What is significant is\nthat the frequency in the Word is 444 for \u201cA.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/span>By the same token, when you see healing in the Word, the frequency is\n523, or \u201cC\u201d on the piano.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

When\nyou listen to the old classical masters like Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, Handel,\netc., they based their music in the frequency, 444.\u00a0 <\/span>At some point during the past couple hundred\nyears, someone decided that they didn\u2019t like the results that came when\nlistening to music keyed in these frequencies.\u00a0\n<\/span>They lowered \u201cA\u201d to 440 (for the common people) and 442 for concert\npitch.\u00a0 <\/span>That simple change took away the\nexactness of what God had ordained for creative purposes, for healing, for\npeace and rest, etc.\u00a0 <\/span>That simple\ncorruption has affected generations of people as they listen to music.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

I\nwas never a fan of the Beatles, but somehow they discovered the significance of\nthis shift and wrote all of their music based on the 444 scale.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m indebted to folks like Ray Hughes, David\nVan Koevering<\/span>, and Michael Tyrell for their research\nand studies.\u00a0 <\/span>May I suggest to you that\nyou Google \u201cWholetones<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Michael Tyrell has put together a series of\nCD\u2019s with all of the fundamental frequencies found in the Word and their impact\non our existence.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

OK,\nback to the subject at hand.\u00a0 <\/span>We were\ntalking about <\/span>\u201cthe noise of thy viols.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>No\nHebrew word better describes what has happened in the music world \u2014 and,\nunfortunately, in generations of \u201cChristian\u201d or \u201cGospel\u201d music.\u00a0 <\/span>That word, \u201cnoise\u201d comes from the Hebrew, <\/span>hemyah<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>, (which refers specifically to music) and\nits root, <\/span>hamah<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>, which literally\nmeans: <\/span>to be in great commotion or tumult, to rage, to war, to clamor,\nto be excessively loud, to be in an uproar<\/span>.\u00a0\n<\/span>See the picture?<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Lucifer\n\u2014 now Satan \u2014 has waged war against the realm of true, intimate praise and\nworship.\u00a0 <\/span>The unadulterated **** that\npasses for praise and worship in some circles is anything but!\u00a0 <\/span>Excuse me for being so \u2026 umm \u2026 pointed, but\nafter you\u2019ve spent time in the presence of the Lord, really enjoying the peace\nand rest of His being in you while in praise and worship, nothing else even\nbegins to come close!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

I\u2019ve\ngotten a tad off track so let\u2019s back up a bit.\u00a0\n<\/span>This would easily become a book if I were to begin citing all of the\nScriptures that demonstrate this, but something phenomenal happened when Satan\nwas cast out of Heaven.\u00a0 <\/span>He lost his\nplace around the Throne.\u00a0 <\/span>He lost the\nplace of praise and worship with which he\u2019d been anointed to surround Father.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

So\nGod did something stupendous!\u00a0 <\/span>He said,\n\u201cI\u2019m going to create a people, a species of being, a family of my design to\ntake Lucifer\u2019s place.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m going to create\na people who will bring pleasure to me.\u00a0\n<\/span>This species of being will be like me.\u00a0\n<\/span>They will not be sub-beings like angels who are only created to obey my\ncommands.\u00a0 <\/span>They will be created in my\nimage and likeness.\u00a0 <\/span>They will surround\nthe Throne!\u00a0 <\/span>They will surround me!\u00a0 <\/span>They will think and speak like me!\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And\nfor roughly two thousand years in the Garden, Father God had that kind of\nintimate relationship with Adam and Eve.\u00a0\n<\/span>They walked together.\u00a0 <\/span>They talked\ntogether.\u00a0 <\/span>They fellowshipped\ntogether.\u00a0 <\/span>The sound and song of Adam and\nEve\u2019s existence was praise and worship to the ears of the Lord.\u00a0 <\/span>There\u2019s a secret here that we\u2019ll come to in\ndue time.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This\npicture becomes more and more fascinating and revelatory as it unfolds, so let\nme quit for today, and let\u2019s continue this narrative next week.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n
