 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

It\u2019s hard for me to\nbelieve that I\u2019ve been writing on this 23rd<\/sup> Psalm adventure for a\nsolid year by now.\u00a0 <\/span>And that doesn\u2019t\ncount a couple of short breaks we\u2019ve taken just to take a breather.\u00a0 <\/span>This truly has become a revelation as much\nfor me as it has for those of you who\u2019ve stayed with it during this time.\u00a0 <\/span>I sit down to write and things just begin to\nflow in my spirit.\u00a0 <\/span>Sometimes it\u2019s hard\nto simply stop.\u00a0 <\/span>I just keep writing, and\nultimately have to break it up into multiple Coffee Breaks in order to keep\nthings down to a readable limit, practically speaking.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

Anyway, I\u2019m not done\nwith this picture of the running over cup, and it is likely that we will\ncontinue for one more week on this topic before we move to the next phase.<\/a><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

John 1:12-13:<\/span><\/u><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>But as many as believed in\nand responded to Him, to them He gave the authority and ability to become \u2013 and\nbe transformed into \u2013 begotten children of God, specifically to those who\nentrust their future existence and well-being by faith in His name, rank, position,\ncharacter, personality and being; who were begotten, not of flesh and blood,\nnor because human flesh determined it by its own decision, nor because the mind\nand intellect of man seized upon it and willed it into existence, but by God as\na sovereign act of His Will and determination.\u00a0\n<\/span><\/span>(RAC\nTranslation & Amplification)<\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Jesus was the Word made flesh.\u00a0 <\/span>We become the Word made flesh when we confess\nwith our mouths the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0\n<\/span>We become the Word made flesh when we \u2014 with Christ in us \u2014 speak the\nWord that He spoke, and speak it in agreement with Him and the Father.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The Holy Spirit \u2014 dwelling with us and in\nus \u2014 energizes and empowers that Word so that it has the same creative force\nthat it had when Jesus spoke it.\u00a0 <\/span>We\u2019ve\nbeen drinking of the Word, Himself!\u00a0 <\/span>What\nneeds we have, we ask the Father for in the onoma<\/span><\/i><\/b>\nof Jesus.\u00a0 <\/span>The Father \u2014 in Jesus \u2014 enacts\nthose needs for us by means of the Holy Spirit who is both with us and in us.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Are you beginning to grasp this\npicture?\u00a0 <\/span>Are you getting the significance\nof \u201cChrist in us, the hope of Glory\u201d?<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The apostle Paul expressed it like this\nwhen he was writing to the Ekklesia in Colosse:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Colossians 1:26-27<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>Even<\/span><\/i> the\nmystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made\nmanifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is<\/i> the riches\nof the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the\nhope of glory:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This is a revelation \u2014 the concept of\nChrist in us.\u00a0 <\/span>With that revelation comes\nthe understanding that it is not only Jesus, the Son with His anointing, but it\nis the Father in us as well.\u00a0 <\/span>More than\nthat, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, filling us and permeating us with\nGod\u2019s presence!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

With The Holy Spirit indwelling us as the\npower-generating force that gives life to the Word (who is Jesus), we become\nJesus to the world around us.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The light that radiated from Him was that\nsame light that exploded into being when He spoke those first words of\nCreation, \u201cLight be!\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>That\u2019s the light\nthat dwells in us when we are in the Anointed One and His anointing \u2014 and He is\nin us!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

John 8:12<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>Then\nspake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth<\/span> me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the\nlight of life.<\/span>\n<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

John 9:4-5<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>I\nmust work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh,\nwhen no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the\nworld.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And Jesus commanded us to duplicate that by\nbeing in Him.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Matthew 5:14-16<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>Ye\nare the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.\nNeither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick;\nand it giveth light unto all that are in the house.\u00a0 <\/span>Let your light so shine before men, that they\nmay see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The parallel that Jesus is drawing in this\nstatement is that He didn\u2019t light us up with His presence just to stick us\nunder a bushel and hide us from the rest of the world.\u00a0 <\/span>He illuminated us with Himself so that the\nFather would receive the Glory.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Matthew 10:7-8<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>And\nas ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick,\ncleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received,\nfreely give.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

We haven\u2019t become Jesus to the world to do\nanything less than Jesus did.\u00a0 <\/span>He healed\nthe sick.\u00a0 <\/span>He raised the dead.\u00a0 <\/span>He cleansed the lepers.\u00a0 <\/span>He cast out evil spirits with His Word.\u00a0 <\/span>He broke the chains that held people\ncaptive.\u00a0 <\/span>He restored crushed spirits.\u00a0 <\/span>And all of the power and authority to\naccomplish everything that Jesus did has been invested in us.\u00a0 <\/span>That\u2019s why Jesus made a point of stating that\nALL authority was His, and His to dispense.\u00a0\n<\/span>And this is something that most of us don\u2019t realize.\u00a0 <\/span>He HAD to dispense this to us.\u00a0 <\/span>It was mandatory if we are going to be Him in\nthe world, if we are going to be the running over cup.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Matthew 28:18-20<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>And Jesus came and spake unto\nthem, saying, All power (exousia<\/i>\u2014authority) is given unto me in heaven\nand in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the\nname of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to\nobserve all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you\nalway, even<\/i> unto the end of the world. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Amen.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

ALL POWER \u2014 ALL AUTHORITY!\u00a0 <\/span>Get it?\u00a0\n<\/span>That\u2019s what resides in us by virtue of the Father being in the Son, the\nSon being in us, The Holy Spirit being with us, in us and filling us \u2026 AND \u2026 us\nin Jesus!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Let\u2019s try this again, expressing it just a\nbit differently.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The Father and Son merge with one\nanother.\u00a0 <\/span>You see one \u2014 you see the\nother.\u00a0 <\/span>The Holy Spirit is the energizing\npower \u2014 the same power that upholds everything in the universe \u2014 of God the\nFather and God the Son.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And that\u2019s the same power that resides in\nus.\u00a0 <\/span>And that\u2019s the same power that we\nreside in.\u00a0 <\/span>So how come we don\u2019t\nexperience this 24 hours a day?<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The answer is simple enough.\u00a0 <\/span>If we don\u2019t see it, we don\u2019t believe it.\u00a0 <\/span>If we don\u2019t believe it, we can\u2019t have it\nexperientially.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 Jesus\u2019 prayer ought to be the\nstandard by which we gauge who and what we are.\u00a0\n<\/span>First, notice how He begins:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

John 17:1-5<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>These words spake Jesus, and\nlifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy\nSon, that thy Son also may glorify thee: \u00a0<\/span><\/sup>As thou hast given him power over all\nflesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. \u00a0<\/span><\/sup>And this is life eternal, that they\nmight know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.\u00a0 <\/span>I have glorified thee on the earth: I have\nfinished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou\nme with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world\nwas.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Jesus makes clear that the Father gave Him\npower over all flesh so that He could give eternal life to as many as received\nHim.\u00a0 <\/span>Next, He says that the Glory\nrevealed in Him before the foundations of the earth is the same Glory He would\nnow have.\u00a0 <\/span>We skip forward in Jesus\u2019\nprayer to see that we are a people set apart because of Him.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

John 17:17-19<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>Sanctify\nthem through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world,\neven so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify\nmyself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This word \u201csanctify\u201d comes from the Greek <\/span>hagiazo<\/span><\/i><\/b>,<\/span> which means: to\npurify, to consecrate, to make holy, to set apart unto the Lord as\nblameless.\u00a0 <\/span>This is where we get the\nradiant picture of light emanating from the Lord \u2014 and from those whom He has\nset apart.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

John 17:20-23<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/sup>Neither pray I for these\nalone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That\nthey all may be one; as thou, Father, art<\/i> in me, and I in thee, that\nthey also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.\nAnd the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one,\neven as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in\none; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them,\nas thou hast loved me.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Jesus has given us His Glory.\u00a0 <\/span>How?\u00a0\n<\/span>Do you see the specific wording in this part of His prayer to the\nFather?<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

\u201cThat they all may be one<\/u>;\nas thou, Father, art<\/i> in me, and I in thee<\/u>, that they also may\nbe one in us<\/u>:\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

There it is again!\u00a0 <\/span>The Father is in Jesus and He is in the\nFather.\u00a0 <\/span>Again, I remind you of the\npicture Jesse saw of them going back and forth into one another.\u00a0 <\/span>There are no limitations \u2014 no laws of physics\n\u2014 in the realm of the Spirit.\u00a0 <\/span>This is\nwhy our cup simply cannot contain the life that has been poured into us!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Jesus and the Father are One!\u00a0 <\/span>But Jesus\u2019 prayer was that we would be One\nwith the Father and with Jesus, and that they would be One with us.\u00a0 <\/span>Do you think His prayer gets answered?<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Absolutely!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Consider this.\u00a0 <\/span>If we are One with Him, and One with Father,\nand One with Holy Spirit, our natural beings are going to run over.\u00a0 <\/span>We simply cannot contain all of this in these\nvessels.\u00a0 <\/span>We have to give out all of this\nexcess to the world around us in order to bring the Kingdom of God to its\nfullness in the Earth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This, folks, is exactly how our prayers are\nanswered.\u00a0 <\/span>We come boldly before the\nThrone of Grace \u2014 first, because both the Father and the Son dwell in us; and\nsecondly, because we are coming in the <\/span>onoma<\/span><\/i><\/b> of the Lord Jesus\nChrist.\u00a0 <\/span>We have that <\/span>onoma<\/span><\/i><\/b> <\/span><\/b>because Jesus sent\nthe Holy Spirit to be with us, and to be in us<\/b>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

When we pray in the Spirit, we are praying\naccording to the will of the Father and the Son.\u00a0 <\/span>We can\u2019t be \u201cin the Spirit\u201d and pray out of\nGod\u2019s will.\u00a0 <\/span>The Holy Spirit simply will\nnot permit anything to flow through our lips that is contrary to the expressed\ndesire and will of the Father.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Therefore, we can know with full assurance\nand full faith that what we pray for we receive: no question, no doubt, no\nunbelief.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This is the revelation of Christ in\nus.\u00a0 <\/span>It is the revelation of His <\/span>onoma<\/span><\/i><\/b> fully functional\nand operational in us.\u00a0 <\/span>It is the\nrevelation of Jesus, the Anointed One, and His anointing upon us, working\nthrough us, and manifesting the Glory of both the Father and the Son to the\nworld around us! <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Here it is, one more time!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

II Corinthians 5:17-19<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>So then, if any person\nis grafted into and immersed in the Anointed One (and His anointing), he is a\nnew fabrication -- a newly formed being; the previous life [the lifestyle and\nthe old characteristics thereof] has perished; you can see and perceive for\nyourself that every part of one's being is an unprecedented substance -- a new\nspecies.\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And all that has happened and taken place has its origins in God,\nWho did this purposefully to reconcile and restore our relationship with Him\nthrough Jesus Christ, Who has given us that same ministry, namely, that God was\nand is in Christ, restoring the world to that intimate relationship with Himself,\nand not indicting the world for its sins and failures; <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

He has committed to us that Word (and the responsibility) of\nreconciliation and restoration.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>(RAC Translation\n& Amplification)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Now,\nwatch as we see what is unfolding.\u00a0 <\/span>We\nare becoming the cup-bearers to the world!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\npicture that Paul draws is that not only was Jesus in the Father, but that the\nFather came to earth IN JESUS<\/i>!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Have\na look at another scripture.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Colossians 1:19-22<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>For\nit pleased the Father<\/i> that in him should all fullness dwell; And, having\nmade peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto\nhimself; by him, I say<\/i>, whether they be<\/i> things in earth, or\nthings in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your<\/i>\nmind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh\nthrough death,<\/u> to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his\nsight.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This\npassage is a revelation all by itself.\u00a0\n<\/span>Go back to the Cross and take a look at Jesus hanging there.\u00a0 <\/span>It isn\u2019t just Jesus: it is you hanging there;\nit is me; it is all of us hanging there on the Cross.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And\nthis is where we will call it a day.\u00a0\n<\/span>Still have a way to go with this picture.\u00a0 <\/span>We\u2019ll try to wrap this up next week before moving\non to the pictures of goodness and mercy.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n
