style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#984806;\nmso-themecolor:accent6;mso-themeshade:128'>The history of the ministry of the\nTabernacle of David in Israel spanned a total of seven kings over several\nhundred years.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>In fact, after the\ndivision of Israel when Jeroboam came up out of Egypt and took ten of the\ntribes with him, the Tabernacle of David ceased to exist in what was then\nreferred to as Israel.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It only remained\namong the kings who were of David\u2019s lineage \u2013 and then only seven total,\nincluding David and Solomon.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It was a\ncostly lesson as we shall see as things unfold.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#984806;mso-themecolor:accent6;mso-themeshade:128'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#984806;mso-themecolor:accent6;mso-themeshade:128'>Last week, we left off\nwith Jehoshaphat and the fact that he faced a formidable army consisting of the\nMoabites and Amorites.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Not until a\ndescendant of Asaph, Jahaziel by name, stood and began to prophesy did the dawn\nof understanding begin to re-emerge.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>Watch how this unfolds.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='line-height:normal;mso-pagination:none'><span\nstyle='color:#984806;mso-themecolor:accent6;mso-themeshade:128'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><u><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\n\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>II Chronicles 20:15-17<\/span><\/u><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>:<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye\ninhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto\nyou, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the\nbattle <i>is<\/i> not yours, but God\u2019s.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#C00000'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal shall not <i>need<\/i>\nto fight in this <i>battle<\/i>: set yourselves, stand ye <i>still<\/i>, and see\nthe salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be\ndismayed; <span class=SpellE>to morrow<\/span> go out against them: for the LORD\n<i>will be<\/i> with you.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>There\u2019s\nan interesting thing that happens when real worshipers stand up and take the\nground that God has given them.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Notice,\nalso, how specific the prophesy of It provokes a remembrance of the past\nglories of the Lord and His presence.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>So\nit did with Jehoshaphat.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Now he stands\nup and orders the following:<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\ncolor:black'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><u><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\n\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>II Chronicles 20:20-23<\/span><\/u><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>:<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>And they rose early\nin the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went\nforth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem;\nBelieve in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets,\nso shall ye prosper.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal children of Ammon, Moab, and mount\nSeir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. <\/span><sup><span\nstyle='font-size:8.5pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>23<\/span><\/sup><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>For\nthe children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir,\nutterly to slay and destroy <i>them<\/i>: and when they had made an end of the\ninhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#C00000'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>We\nare told that the armies of Judah spent the next seven days gathering up the\nspoil of their enemies.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Apparently, the\nsoldiers had brought all their gold, jewels and precious assets with them to\nthe scene of battle.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Go figure!<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>What kind of rationale goes into that kind of\nthinking?<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>In any case, Jehoshaphat and\nJudah recovered the wealth that had been stolen from them by their enemies in\nthe preceding years.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Talk about a\nvictory!<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>For\nthe last seven years of Jehoshaphat\u2019s 25-year reign, praise and worship ensued\nas it had during David\u2019s and Solomon\u2019s time.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>Again the nation prospered.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Again\nthe nation had victory over its enemies.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>Again they shook off the shackles of those who had tried to invade and\nterrorize them.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\ncolor:black'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>We\nnow see Israel suffer for the next fifteen years under the reigns of Jothan,\nAhaziah and Athaliah \u2014 all of whose reigns were cut short by wickedness.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Without\ngetting into all of the details of Joash\u2019s taking the throne, he is seven years\nold and takes the throne under the watchful care of Jehoiada, the priest.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It isn\u2019t long before the families of Asaph,\nHeman and Jeduthun are restored to their places and the sound of praise and\nworship begins once again to fill the land.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>Once again the land begins to prosper and Judah has victory over its\nenemies.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Contrast that to the unfolding\ndisaster that was taking place among the ten tribes of Israel with their\nabandonment of praise and worship!<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>For\nthe first 39 years of Joash\u2019s reign, everything goes just great!<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>In the 40th year of his reign, he is beset by\nself-seeking politicians much like his ancestor Rehoboam was.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>And just like Rehoboam, he succumbs to the\nmealy-mouthed politicians and abandons the praise and worship.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Before\nthe year is out, Joash is assassinated, and we now enter a period of 112 years\nin which Judah sees no praise and worship.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>We go through a succession of four kings, three of whom make attempts to\nfollow the Lord, but do not resume the praise and worship, and ultimately fail.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>We\nnow come to the rule of a king of whom it is written that \u201c<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>since\nthe time of David and Solomon, there was not the like in Israel.\u201d <\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span>That king was Hezekiah.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>From the day he took the throne, he was\ndetermined to restore the kind of worship that Israel had seen in the days of\nDavid and Solomon.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The temple had been\ndecimated by wars and kings who thought to take of the treasures of the temple\nfor themselves.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>We\nare told that <\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#C00000'>\u201cIn the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened\nthe doors of the house of the Lord and repaired them.\u201d<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>(see II Chronicles 29:3)<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Following a period of only eight days, he\ncalled for a feast of celebration in which the priests offered up hundreds of\nlambs and seventy bullocks.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The families\nof praisers and worshipers were given their places back.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Here\u2019s what we are told.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><u><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\n\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>II Chronicles 29:26-30<\/span><\/u><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Hezekiah\ncommanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>This\nis the first time that we see an invitation go out to all the tribes of Israel\nto join in with Hezekiah to minister once again top the Lord as they had in the\ndays of David and Solomon.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>And for the\nfirst time, we have the tribes of Asher, Manasseh, Ephraim, Issachar and\nZebulon who join in with Hezekiah.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The\ncelebrations increase and the sound of praise and worship once again fills the\nland as it hasn\u2019t for centuries.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Here is\nwhat we are told of Hezekiah.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\ncolor:black'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><u><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\n\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>II Chronicles 31:20-21<\/span><\/u><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>: <\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>And\nthus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought <i>that which was<\/i> good\nand right and truth before the LORD his God. <\/span><sup><span\nstyle='font-size:8.5pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>And in every work\nthat he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the\ncommandments, to seek his God, he did <i>it<\/i> with all his heart, and\nprospered.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#C00000'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>When\nHezekiah dies, his son, Manasseh, takes the throne and abandons everything his\nfather had done.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>For the next 57 years,\nJudah is without the sound of praise and worship filling the land.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\ncolor:black'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Finally,\nwe have a seventh and final king in the lineage of David who has the vision and\nsees the necessity, as well as the point of the ministry of praise and worship\nfor the land of Israel.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Josiah\ntakes the throne as Hezekiah\u2019s great-grandson.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>The stories of his great-grandfather\u2019s incredible experiences are no\ndoubt still being told in the land.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>However, Josiah sits on the throne for 18 years before he is made aware\nof coming judgment on the House of Israel because of their sins.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He calls for national repentance.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He has already been destroying all the\nremnant of the idols and false worship that has plagued Judah.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Now he reappoints the ministry of praise and\nworship.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Manasseh, Ephraim, Simeon,\nNaphtali and Benjamin join in the praise and worship, and only for the second\ntime in Judah\u2019s history do we see some kind of reunification for the purpose of\nministry to the Lord.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The\nremaining 12 years of Josiah\u2019s reign prosper as they did in David\u2019s time.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It is a sad commentary to think that the\nincredible miracles that were on display for the nation somehow did not sink\ninto the heads of successive kings and rulers throughout the centuries.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Josiah\u2019s son and grandson ruled for only a\nshort time following their father\u2019s and grandfather\u2019s death.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The prophecies of judgment against Judah\nquickly began to unfold in the absence of the presence of the Lord in the\npraise and worship, and Judah was carried away into captivity in the reign of\nNebuchadnezzar.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>So it is for people\ntoday, and nations today who lose sight of the need for a continual presence of\nthe Lord in the land.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Let\nme take a break here and describe, if I can, the significant differences\nbetween David\u2019s Tabernacle and the Tabernacle of Moses.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>David\u2019s\nTabernacle was one tiny portion of Moses\u2019 Tabernacle.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Moses\u2019 Tabernacle consisted of the Outer\nCourt, the Altar of Sacrifice and the Laver.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>That designated the place of salvation, redemption and a beginning to\nthe restoration of relationship.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>From\nthe Outer Court, one would enter the Holy Place where the Altar of Incense, the\nTable of Showbread and the Golden Candlestick.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>This was designated as the place where one would move on from redemption\nand the cleansing of the sins of the past to the developing of a real\nrelationship with God.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The Golden\nCandlestick represented a people on fire with passion for the Lord.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\nmso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>They\nstood before the Holy of Holies which housed the Ark of the Covenant.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Because of the temporary nature of the\nredemptive process, and the fact that Messiah had not yet come, a thick veil\ncovered the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy of Holies.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>That Ark represented the marriage covenant\nthat God was desirous of having with His people.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\nmso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#8A6900'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>With\nvery few exceptions throughout history, Israel never grasped the fact that they\ncould actually have an intimate relationship with the Lord on the same level\nthat Adam and Eve once knew.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Enoch was\nan exception.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Noah was an\nexception.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Abraham was an exception.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Moses never fully grasped it but walked in it\nto the degree that he was able to follow the pattern God gave him to build the\nTabernacle as a living photograph of that relationship and the coming Messiah.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\ncolor:black'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>As\nDavid sat on the hillsides watching his sheep, he played on his harp and began\nto sing what he was hearing come out of<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/span>Heaven.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>The more he played and\nthe more he became enveloped in the presence of the Lord, the greater the\ndegree of understanding of God\u2019s plan and purposes unfolded before him.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Prophecy\nbegan to flow in the midst of his praise and worship.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The presence of the Lord so encompassed him\nthat everyone around him knew that there was something radically different\nabout this young man.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>When he played, he\ndidn\u2019t entertain: he ministered to the Lord.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>It became the focus of his whole existence.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:9.5pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Thus,\nwhen Saul was rejected by the Lord as king because of his usurpation of the\nduties intended for Samuel as priest and prophet, and he attempted to offer\nburnt sacrifices in Samuel\u2019s stead, evil spirits began to plague and torment\nhim.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He heard about David and the\nprophetic anointing he had when he played his harp.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>David was called for, and sure enough, when\nhe played, the evil spirits fled and Saul had peace.<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";mso-fareast-font-family:\n\"Times New Roman\"'><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>What\nDavid experienced during those times so lodged in his spirit that a\ndetermination grew in the core of his being to show Israel what kind of\nrelationship with God could be available to them.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>&nbsp;<span style='font-size:9.5pt;font-family:\n\"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"'><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>With\nSaul\u2019s death in battle, the elders of the tribe of Judah immediately crowned\nhim King.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Saul\u2019s son, Ishbosheth, took\nthe throne over the remaining ten tribes.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>He was, however, not the strong military leader that his father was.\nWithout taking time to get into all the details of his leadership and the folly\nof his reign, his weakness as a leader affected Israel\u2019s military leaders.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>With David as King of Judah and the strength\nthat he displayed, they effected a coup and removed him as King.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The elders of all the tribes got together and\nanointed David to become king over the entire nation.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He had been King of Judah for seven\nyears.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He is now 37 years of age.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\nmso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Now\nDavid had the ability to accomplish something that had been in his spirit\nduring the previous twenty years.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He set\nout to recover the Ark of the Covenant which had languished among the\nPhilistines for many years.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>&nbsp;<span style='font-size:9.5pt;font-family:\n\"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"'><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal
