with you as I can in the shortest amount of time.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#984806;\nmso-themecolor:accent6;mso-themeshade:128'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>We\nwrapped up last week by saying that <b>Jesus<\/b> <b>does make requirements<\/b> <b>for\nhealing, for health, for life, for receiving from Him.<\/b><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The first and most basic is, faith.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The second and equally basic is, relationship\nwith Him.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Not religion.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Not attending church.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Not agreeing with certain doctrines.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Not meeting a set of standards required by a\ncommittee of Christians.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>It is\nrelationship!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Relationship!<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Relationship!<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0The\ngifts of healing, health, life, wholeness, being raised from the dead,\nprovisions, etc., <i>all<\/i> come as a matter of wooing us to a place of deeper\nrelationship, unity and oneness with Him as His counterpart, His Other\nSelf.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>In fact, we can say that these are\na dowry given to us as a foretaste of the permanent change of our nature,\ncharacter and makeup (our new <\/span><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";color:#002060'>onoma<\/span><\/i><\/b><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'> <\/span><\/i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>in Him).<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>In our places of public ministry, this is a\nperspective which often gets lost in the \"doing.\"<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The gifts become the objective.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The healing becomes an objective.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Provision for our natural needs becomes the\nobjective.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus Christ our Bridegroom,\nand His heart's desire and purposes get shuttled aside -- and<b> we rarely are\naware that we are the ones shuttling that desire aside!<\/b><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>There\nis a picture that is worth taking a look at in Revelation 3:7-13 (and bear with\nme for a moment. I\u2019ve shared this picture with you in the past few months, but\nthere is a part of it that bears repeating.)<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>The seven letters, as you know, are addressed to the seven Ekklesias,\nand represent a single letter to the Bride.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>The message to the Bride is the overcoming of the seven spirits\n(exemplified in the seven nations which occupied Canaan) or ruling\nprincipalities which comprise the nature of the Beast (seen throughout\nRevelation) and are the counterfeit for the Seven Spirits of God.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>(Anyway, that's a separate study that I can't\ntake the time to delve into in this discussion but will share at a later date.)<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Without\ngetting into all of the areas of overcoming identified in this particular\nletter, the message to the Ekklesia in Philadelphia is <\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>\"I\nhave set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it...\"<\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The \u201copen door\u201d is identified with the \u201ckey\nof <\/span><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Belfast Light SF\"'>David.\u201d<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Belfast Light SF\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Belfast Light SF\"'>The\nphrase, \u201cthe key of <\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>David,\u201d\nis a very well identified Hebrew metaphor which means, \u201cthe power and authority\nof David,\u201d and represents <b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i>the\nauthority to access <span style='mso-bidi-font-weight:bold'>all<\/span> that is\nwithin<\/i><\/b>.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The authority\nrepresented by this key is that He who holds the key<span style='color:#C00000'>,\n<\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#C00000'>\"openeth and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man\nopeneth.\"<\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#009900'><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The key of David\nalso has another very specific application: the <b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:\nnormal'><i>tabernacle of David<\/i><\/b>.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>For\nreasons that seem to escape me, God's people have not learned the lesson of\nDavid\u2019s Tabernacle.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>More than that,\nthose who have served in places of responsibility and leadership seem to think\nthat it\u2019s okay to call their hymn-singing, song-singing, scripture-choruses and\npreaching, \"worship.\"<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><b>It is\nnot worship! <\/b><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span>Then they wonder why\nthere is such a struggle to see things happen.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>They wonder why there is no provision of God.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They wonder where the miracles went.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They wonder why there is such \"backsliding\"\namong the people and why people's relationship with God is like a yo-yo.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The\nreason is because their priority is \"ministry to the people,\" instead\nof \"ministry to the Lord.\"<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The\nclearly drawn picture in scripture is the priority of ministering to the Lord.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>If those who serve in places of leadership\ncan come to the realization that the <b>only<\/b> thing which counts is ministry\nto the Lord, they will soon see that as they minister to Him and live in His\npresence (and set aside their \"need\" to minister to others) the Lord\nwill go forth as a Bridegroom eagerly desiring to provide all that His Bride\nneeds.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Ministry\n<b>will go forth<\/b>, but in a totally different dimension by the Spirit.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>People will see their need (because the Holy\nSpirit reveals it to them) for deliverance -- <b>and experience it!<\/b><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>God's people will experience salvation in a way\nthat can never happen with the traditional altar call.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They will see truth revealed in their inner\nbeings, being taught by the Holy Spirit -- even if they have never read the\nBible!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The Holy Spirit will be poured\nout on a people, sovereignly -- but it will not happen like this unless leaders\ncan lay down their titles, their books of learning, their positions, their\n\"responsibilities to the people,\" and their preconceived ideas of how\nthe Lord wants to do things \u2014 all predicated on having eaten from the\n\"Tree of Knowledge\".<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Once\nagain, I must reiterate: this will <b>only<\/b> come by living in His presence,\nliving in worship, living in a place where worship goes forth from and in one's\nspirit 24 hours per day!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><b>There is no\nother way!<\/b><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><b>There is no\nsubstitute!<\/b><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Jesus\nmakes this abundantly clear when He says, <\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>\"Enter ye in at\nthe strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to\ndestruction, and many there be which go in <span class=SpellE>thereat<\/span>:\nBecause strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and\nfew there be that find it.\"<\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#009900'><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>(Matthew 7:13-14 KJV)<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal the Greek text is <\/span><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:\nnormal'><i><span style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";color:#0F243E;\nmso-themecolor:text2;mso-themeshade:128'>tsar<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>, also was used by\nthe Septuagint translators to give birth to the Greek word, <b\nstyle='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The\npicture is obvious.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The \"strait\ngate,\" which leads to life, is the gate of worship.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>One does not come through this gate with all\nof the trappings of ministry, doctrines, or whatever.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>If it were easy, everyone would be able to\ncome through without difficulty.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The\n\"obstacles standing in the way\" of those who consider entrance are\nthe obstacles of ministry, the obstacles of society, the obstacles of position,\nthe obstacles of responsibility, the obstacles of doctrinal understanding,\netc.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>One must be willing to drop\neverything to get by those obstacles in order to enter the strait gate.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>One must be willing to endure the affliction\nand tribulation brought on by well-meaning, but ignorant, brethren who do not\nsee the life that is available on the other side of the gate of worship, who\nonly see \"the needs of the multitudes\" and not the relationship\navailable with the Bridegroom, who is the source of provision for all those\nneeds.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>There\nis one other aspect of this that is of great concern to brethren who consider\nthe prospect of walking away from their \"ministries\" -- especially\nthose who have lived off of \"tithes and offerings.\"<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>I don't want to get into a discussion on\ntithes and offerings other than to simply say that it is no different from\nsomeone who walks away from a conventional job and salary in response to the\nbeckoning of the Lord.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>One must be able\nto respond to the Lord without regard for one's income.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The moment that our income -- whether it be\nfrom the tithes and offerings of people who give, or from a weekly paycheck on\nsome job -- becomes a stumbling block to our obedience, or a reason to not\nrespond, <b>it has just become idolatry<\/b>, no matter how logical our\nreasoning process.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It becomes the lord\nof our life because we choose to eat from the \"Tree of\nKnowledge.\"<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>That\nthis is eating from the Tree of Knowledge is evident because we make our judgment\nbased on the fact that it is \"good\" to provide for our families, and\nthat it is \"evil\" to become a burden to society -- that it is\n\"evil\" not to look to the future for our daily needs.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>This\nis a terrible trap, and a lie of the \"Beast.\"<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>What makes it a lie is the fact that while it\nis \"good\" to provide for our families, etc., it essentially adopts\nthe position that God is incapable of directing our foot-steps in such a manner\nas to provide for us, and that \"God helps those who help\nthemselves.\"<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It is imperative that\nwe remember that when in the Holy of Holies, <b>He is our provision<\/b> -- <b>PERIOD!<\/b><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He does not want our help.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He does not want us reasoning how we will\nprovide for ourselves.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The only thing He\ndesires from us is our responsiveness to Him! <span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span><b>NOTHING ELSE! <\/b><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span>This requires some walking out of His Word to\nus and will most certainly bring <\/span><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";color:#0F243E;\nmso-themecolor:text2;mso-themeshade:128'>thlipsis<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'> as we allow Him to\nre-order our priorities -- including what we think is necessary to live!<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>There\nis another aspect of this which deserves consideration.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>In Hebrews 6 -- and we are all familiar with\nthis picture -- the apostle Paul (we assume him to be the author) states, <\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>\"Therefore,\nleaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;\nnot laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith\ntoward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of\nresurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>And this will we do, if God\npermit......\"<\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>This\nstatement has staggered many because they are caught in the Outer Court, or in\nthe Holy Place.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Simply put, we are told\nto lay aside our doctrines of salvation, all of our foundational truths, our\ndoctrines of<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>baptisms in water and in\nthe Holy Spirit, the realm of the supernatural, miracles, and raising the dead,\nand -- wonder of wonders -- our end-time doctrines (this is the essence of the\ndoctrine of eternal judgment), and go on to the \"finishing!\"<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The word, \"perfection,\" in the\nGreek text is <\/span><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";color:#0F243E;\nmso-themecolor:text2;mso-themeshade:128'>teleios<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>This word means: to be fully completed, to be\nfinished, to be full grown.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>When\nwe take into consideration the fact that Jesus' purpose was not just to come\nand save people from sin; that He did not come to take people to heaven; that\nHe came to get for Himself <b>a finished Bride<\/b> -- a Bride who would be His\ncounterpart, a <b>fully complete Bride<\/b> who reflects Him in <b>every<\/b>\naspect -- the statement in<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Hebrews 6\ntakes on a different picture.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Salvation\nis not an objective -- it is only the first stone in the foundation!<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Baptisms in water and in the Holy Spirit are\nnot a goal -- they are only pieces of the foundation.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The realm of miracles experienced in the\nlaying on of hands is not a measure of spiritual attainment -- it is a tiny\nmicrocosm of the whole picture.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Raising\nthe dead is not a goal -- it is only one of the aspects of Jesus' ministry, and\na natural part of being in Him!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Eternal\njudgment, and the scope of events in the end times, certainly is not a goal or\nobjective in Him!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It is only a picture\nof that which happens at the end of certain earthly events.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It is not even a picture of the end of things\nin Christ, but rather is a precursor to the beginning of a whole new\ndimension!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>These\ntruths are not invalidated by leaving them!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>They are simply put where they are supposed to be -- <b>at the bottom,\nas the foundation!<\/b><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They are not even\nthe building!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They only serve to lay the\nnecessary preparation so we can be \"permitted\" to \"go on to the\ncompleting or finishing\" that our Bridegroom desires.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The\nstatement in verse 3, <\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#C00000'>\"if God permit,\"<\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'> <\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>is even stronger in\nthe Greek text, and makes abundantly clear the fact that He will <b>not<\/b>\npermit us to go on if we cannot lay down our doctrines of salvation, baptism,\nmiracles, end-time doctrines, etc.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They <b>must\ncease<\/b> to be a focus of attention, or even a topic of discussion on a\nregular basis.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The reason He will not\npermit us to go on <\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\ncolor:#C00000'>\"to the finishing\"<\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'> <\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>is because this is\na call into the Holy of Holies.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>This is\na call into His presence!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>This is a call\nto come beyond the Outer Court and the Holy Place, where all of these\nfoundation stones were laid.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>There are\nnone of these doctrines in the Holy of Holies, nor is there a need for\nthem.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He makes very clear in verses 4 -\n8 <b>why<\/b> He will not permit us to come into the Holy of Holies if we do not\nlay down these doctrines.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Paul\nstates that it is impossible to be renewed again to repentance once we have\ntasted and experienced the reality of living in Him, once we have experienced\nbeing One with the Holy Spirit, once we have experienced the dimension of the\nworks of power and authority of the age to come, and then<\/span><b\nstyle='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Garamond\",\"serif\";color:#0F243E;\nmso-themecolor:text2;mso-themeshade:128'>......parapesontas...<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#0F243E;\nmso-themecolor:text2;mso-themeshade:128'> <\/span><b><span style='font-size:\n13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>deliberately<\/span><\/b><span\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'> walk back out into\nthe Holy Place.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He clearly states that\nwe cannot be renewed to a place of repentance once we have walked back out into\nthe Holy Place, and then later, be again called to live in His presence in the\nHoly of Holies.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>This\nis not repentance from dead works, nor are we talking about a salvation\nexperience.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>He likens it to crucifying\nthe Lord Jesus Christ once again.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>This\nis a specific metaphor which describes nullifying His death on the cross.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The essence of this is that by our action in\ndeliberately returning to the Holy Place realm, we turn back to the Tree of\nKnowledge, to which He laid the ax with His death on the cross.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>We, in effect, say to Him, \"We prefer\nthe Tree of Knowledge to the Tree of Life.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>We would prefer to live in a realm where we can discern what is good,\nand what is evil, and make our own judgments.\"<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>There\nwill obviously be those who will question how I have arrived at this\nunderstanding, so let me hasten to clarify things.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Salvation comes first as a revelation to us\nby the Spirit of the Lord.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It becomes\nlife in us by our responding to the Holy Spirit. Baptism in water comes first\nas a revelation by the Holy Spirit within us -- even if we receive that\nrevelation by reading certain scriptures on water baptism -- but it does not\nbecome life until we respond.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>By\nthe same token, for most people (and I know there are exceptions to this)\nbaptism in the Holy Spirit comes first as the Holy Spirit reveals the need and\nnecessity of our living and operating in this realm.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>It becomes a reality -- a fact of life --\nhowever, only when we yield to the Spirit in direct response.<span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The same holds true for the \"laying on\nof hands,\" which we equate with the realm of miracles, the raising of the\ndead, and the preparation for what has been generally referred to as \"end\ntimes.\"<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>All of these things begin\nin us by a revelation of the Spirit.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\n<\/span>They <b>are<\/b> real!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They <b>are<\/b>\nvalid!<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They become a dimension of\nabsolutely stunning and exciting life when we respond to that which the Holy\nSpirit directs us -- either to do or to say<\/span><span style='font-size:12.0pt;\nfont-family:\"Belfast Light SF\"'>.<\/span><span style='font-size:10.0pt'><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span
