\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

The spirit of condemnation is one that pursues every woman\nwho has ever had an abortion.\u00a0 <\/span>Despite\nwhat you see and hear in the media, and the baloney coming out of Hollywood,\nthe overwhelming majority of women who have had abortions also suffer from\nextreme guilt, from an overwhelming sense of loss and condemnation that they\nseek to hide from in a wide variety of ways.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

Deliverance from both the Spirit of Abortion and the Spirit\nof Condemnation are an absolute necessity for these women.\u00a0 <\/span>What sometimes accompanies these spirits is a\nSpirit of Murder \u2013 and the woman who has had the abortion sometimes commits\nsuicide to escape from the guilt that haunts her.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

There is deliverance!\u00a0\n<\/span>I cannot tell you how many women Della and I have ministered to\nthroughout the years who\u2019ve suffered because of their choices.\u00a0 <\/span>Once they accept that their guilt was taken\nand paid for by the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross, and they repent of their\nchoices and actions, deliverance is easy.\u00a0\n<\/span>Let\u2019s see if we can get to that ministry of deliverance today.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n

Before\nwe get to talking about being delivered from this evil spirit, let's talk a\nlittle more about the spiritual processes that bring about this evil.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

We\nsaid last week that this spirit is rooted in selfishness.\u00a0 Selfishness is\nrooted in fear -- and more specifically, in the Fear of Death.\u00a0 Let me\nexplain.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\nFear of Death affects, influences and controls a person's flesh, their physical\nwelfare, their physical well-being.\u00a0 Although this spirit takes many paths\nto get there, its ultimate objective is to cause you to fear that you will\ndie.\u00a0 That may seem like a stretch, so let me give you a guided tour of\nhow this spirit operates.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\nFear of Death, incidentally, is father to many \"lesser\" fears -- one\nnotable fear being the Fear of the Unknown.\u00a0 The Fear of Not Having Enough\nis another good example.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Folks\nwho tend to hoard things, hoard them out of a fear that they will run out, and\nif they run out, they won't be able to take care of their physical needs.\u00a0\nIf they can't take care of their physical needs, they will get sick -- or\nworse, they will die.\u00a0 Remember the Y2K scare that tormented so many folks\nleading up to the year 2000?<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

I\ncan't tell you how many good Christian folks I knew who began spending their\nmoney in preparation for a feared disaster -- my own mother included.\u00a0 She\nhad heard all the scare scenarios preached by many would-be\n\"prophets\" on television.\u00a0 She was alone.\u00a0 Dad had gone to\nbe with the Lord years before.\u00a0 Had he been alive, there's no doubt she\nwould never have been subject to such torment, but being alone brings its own\nset of fears.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Mom\nbegan spending money on things she was going to need when computer failures\n(caused by a two-digit flaw in resident memory chips that didn't allow the\nprogramming to recognize the year 2000, and could have thought it should revert\nto 1900 instead) were supposed to bring world-wide panic when power stations\nshut down, aircraft crashed, cars would simply stop, bombs would go off, pumping\nstations would fail -- you name it!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Got\nthe picture?\u00a0 It was all based in fear: the Fear of Death.\u00a0 Preachers\nwere warning their congregations to go out and prepare for the worst instead of\nteaching them faith.\u00a0 Television preachers were preaching the doctrines of\ndoom, teaching unbelief and fear rather than trust in the Lord.\u00a0 It made\nme sick.\u00a0 When my mother began to ask me to help her buy all these\nsupplies in preparation for Y2K, I refused, telling her that there was not\ngoing to be any worldwide chaos.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

She\nbecame angry with me (anger is a product of fear, incidentally) and rejected my\ncounsel.\u00a0 Other family friends helped her spend many thousands of dollars\non canned foods, alternative energy sources, and supplies that would\ntheoretically carry her through a year of disaster.\u00a0 When she ran out of\nmoney, she called asking for a loan for funds to purchase more supplies.\u00a0\nAgain, I refused, telling her that I would not finance fear.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

When\nthe feared disaster never materialized, my mother was pretty sheepish.\u00a0\nHer exact words to me were, \"I sure wish I'd listened to you instead of\nall those television preachers.\"\u00a0 She realized she had been sucked in\nby a lie of the Enemy.\u00a0 Mom wasn't alone.\u00a0 I met many Christians who\nhad cellars full of foodstuffs they couldn't get rid of before it spoiled,\nwheat and flour that got bug infested, water in jugs that took on the taint of\nthe containers rendering it virtually unpotable, and supplies that might have\nbeen appropriate in 1900 with the state of engineering and technology that\nexisted back then, but hardly necessary or even practically usable in today's\nworld.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

And\nall of it was driven by the Fear of Death.\u00a0 Problem is, that even without\na Y2K to use as a device to inspire fear, there are still tens of thousands of Christians\nwho live with what I would call a \"depression\" mentality.\u00a0 I\nwasn't born, of course, in time to see or experience the Great Depression of\nthe 1930's, but I've known so many folks who did live through it.\u00a0 It was\na difficult era for many, and a fair percentage of those who lived through it\nheld onto their \"scrimp and put away\" mentality even decades and\ngenerations afterward.\u00a0 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

You'll\nunderstand what I mean when I talk about helping to clean out the homes of\nthose who lived during that era and finding newspapers that were 40 and 50\nyears old, thousands of buttons cut from shirts and dresses that wore out and\ngot thrown away, how-to books that might have made sense in the 1940's,\nmechanical parts in garages for machinery no longer in use or even existence,\nclosets full of clothes that went out of style in the 1960's or 1970's,\nhome-canned fruits and vegetables that must have been canned 30 years ago or\nmore, etc., etc., etc.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Got\nthe picture?\u00a0 We're not talking practical, here.\u00a0 We're talking about\na lifestyle based in fear.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

So,\nhow does this all relate to abortion, you ask.\u00a0 The arrogance that fuels\nabortion is an arrogance that masks a deep, underlying fear.\u00a0 The\n\"convenience\" of abortion masks the fact that women who undergo\nabortion procedures are driven by a fear that the pregnancy will result in a\nchild (or children) they won't have enough money to take care of.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Not\nenough money to take care of the child means you don't have enough to take care\nof yourself: ergo, you will die.\u00a0 In certain women, the fear that compels\nthem to have an abortion tells them that they have physical complications that\nwill result in their own deaths if they carry the baby to full-term.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

We\ncan carry this discussion on and on and on, but perhaps by now you are\nbeginning to understand that \"the woman's right to choose\" is\nentirely predicated in fear.\u00a0 It is also predicated on the lie of Satan\nwhich masks the true nature of the unborn child so that the \"choice\"\ncan be made without interfering with a woman's conscience.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Take\na quick look at some Scriptures.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Jeremiah,\nthe prophet, was still a young man when the Lord called him and sent him forth\nto declare His word and purposes in Israel.\u00a0 It is what the Lord said to\nJeremiah in the midst of that call, however, that really tells the tale.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Jeremiah 1:5<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>\"Before\nI formed thee in the belly I knew thee<\/u>; and before thou camest forth out\nof the womb I sanctified thee<\/u>, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the\nnations.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Then\nthere was David's word from the Lord.\u00a0 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Psalm 139: 13-16<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>\"For\nthou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother\u2019s womb.\u00a0 I\nwill praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous<\/span>\nare thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret,\nand curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.\u00a0 Thine eyes did\nsee my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were\nwritten, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of\nthem.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

So\nmuch for Satan's lie to the pregnant woman that what she really has growing\ninside her womb is just a blob: it isn't a life, and it isn't human, yet.\u00a0\nIt's just a \"fetus.\"\u00a0 Naturally, that excuse hides the fact that\nthe word \"fetus\" (or <\/span>foetus<\/span><\/i><\/b>,\nfrom the Latin) actually means, <\/span>\"filled with young,\npregnant, with young, bringing forth, bearing, producing.\"<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The\nWord of God makes abundantly clear the fact that we are living beings even\nBEFORE the fertilized egg actually begins to take shape and form.\u00a0 We are\nlife.\u00a0 It is illogical to think that the Lord actually knows someone who\nisn't a living being.\u00a0 Since all life originates in Him to begin with, He\ncertainly knows the character, the personality and makeup of an individual\nbefore that individual even takes form in the womb.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

But\nSatan does everything in his power to mask and hide that truth so the woman can\nfeel OK about having an abortion.\u00a0 What he fails to reveal to the woman\nbefore the abortion takes place is the fact that the woman is going to\nexperience a dimension of pain and emotional upheaval that knows no bounds.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

As\nI noted last week, what was missing from the so-called \"right to\nchoose\" was the other side of the equation.\u00a0 What came with the\n\"right\" was death and destruction to the woman making what she\nthought was her own choice.\u00a0 (It wasn't, by the way.\u00a0 It was a\n\"choice\" manipulated by the lie of Satan.)\u00a0 What came with that\n\"right\" was pain and suffering so unimaginable that had Eve<\/span> been able to foresee the consequences of her\n\"choice,\" she would have run as far as possible to escape even the\nsound of the serpent's voice.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

All\ntoo often, those pushing this lying agenda on women, have never been pregnant\nthemselves, have never borne children nor known the joy of childbirth.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

During\nmy run for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2004 campaign, my opponent\nin the Republican Primary was a woman by the name of Becky Klein -- one,\nincidentally, who had never had any children of her own up to that time.\u00a0\nBecky was a professing Christian, coming from a very devout family, so it\nsurprised me when she publicly proclaimed her support for the pro-abortion\nstance and \"a woman's right to choose.\"\u00a0 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Following\nmy loss to her in the Primary, I talked to her on the telephone about her\nstance and offered to send her an email with some Scriptures that she needed to\nread before she continued speaking out in support of those favoring abortion\nrights.\u00a0 She accepted my invitation, and after reading the Scriptures\n(which I knew she had never seen before) she publicly reversed herself, taking\ninstead the natural stand of any Christian who accepts the authoritativeness of\nGod's Word on the subject.\u00a0 Another Texas friend and brother in the Lord\n(who has been active for many years in politics), Tony Smith, followed up by\nsending her a pretty complete list of Scriptures she could draw from.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Ignorance almost always\nproduces unbelief.\u00a0 Ignorance produces fear.\u00a0 And Satan does\neverything in his power to keep God's people ignorant of truth.\u00a0 The\nentire pro-abortion agenda is driven by fear, doubt and unbelief.\u00a0 Sadly,\nthousands of Christian women who are ignorant of God's Word and God's promises\nto them fall prey to the lie of Satan.\u00a0 They also subsequently come under\nsevere condemnation and guilt without really understanding why.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

After\nre-reading some of what I\u2019ve written, it occurred to me that I may not have\nmade a clear connection between the fear that causes folks to \"hoard\"\nand store up and save things -- even necessities -- in huge quantities and the\nSpirit of Abortion.\u00a0 Maybe most of you caught it, but for the sake of\nthose who seemed puzzled and fired off a bunch of questions at me, let me go\nthrough this again.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Abortion\nis driven by fear.\u00a0 The Fear of Death is entirely selfish.\u00a0 This is a\nspirit that imposes a totally self-centered agenda.\u00a0 Everything revolves\naround one's personal comfort, one's personal needs, one's personal well-being\n-- and especially whether any event (whether internal or external) will affect\none's ability to survive.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Hoarding\n(as opposed to the wise setting aside of something appropriate for the\n\"rainy day\") is based in that same fear.\u00a0 Hoarding is driven by\na need for self-preservation.\u00a0 Self-preservation is a natural instinct,\nbut when it becomes driven by the Fear of Death with all of its imaginary and\nfantastical scenarios (many of which are totally subconscious), the need for\nself-preservation gets driven to some pretty wild extremes.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Without getting too\nside-tracked here, one of the symptoms of this spirit's existence and torment\nin a person's life is Gluttony -- often exhibited in alcoholism, drug abuse,\nserious over-eating, nicotine addiction, and a host of other addictive\nmanifestations.\u00a0 It would be accurate to say that ALL addictions are a\nmanifestation of symptom of the operation of and torment of the Fear of Death.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n
