When I\r\nwas growing up as a child in church, I used to hear folks pray for various\r\nneeds.\u00a0 <\/span>They\u2019d pray for some family\r\nmember or some other individual\u2019s crisis and ask for the intervention of the\r\nLord.\u00a0 <\/span>Invariably, they\u2019d tack on the\r\nphrase, \u201cif it be your will,\u201d or the Elizabethan, \u201cif it be thy will.\u201d<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It always puzzled me that\r\nfolks would pray like that and one day I had the temerity to ask some lady why\r\nshe asked the Lord to heal her son, and then tacked on, \u201cif it be thy\r\nwill.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>She looked kinda<\/span>\r\nfunny at me and said, \u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cYoung man, you\r\nneed to know your Scriptures!\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>She then\r\nproceeded to quote to me from James 4, <\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u201cGo to now, ye that say, To<\/span> day<\/span> or to\r\nmorrow<\/span> we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy\r\nand sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For\r\nwhat is your life? It is even a vapour<\/span><\/span>, that<\/span> appeareth<\/span> for a little\r\ntime, and then vanisheth<\/span> away. For that ye ought to\r\nsay, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Although her\r\nquotation of that passage didn\u2019t set well in my spirit, I let the issue pass\r\nfor the time being because I didn\u2019t know how to answer.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

\r\nAs the years went by,\r\nI began to realize that this woman wasn\u2019t alone in her blanket acceptance of\r\nthe misuse and mis<\/span>-quotation of James\u2019 admonition by\r\ntaking it out of context.\u00a0 <\/span>Far too many\r\nChristians are cheated on a daily basis out of receiving all\r\nthat<\/span> God has for them because they tack on the \u201cif it be thy will\u201d\r\nstatement.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Satan is a master quoter<\/span> of Scripture.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>He knows exactly how to twist something and take it out of the intended\r\ncontext of the Holy Spirit so as to make you ask the question, \u201cHath God\r\nsaid?\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cHath God said\u201d is the\r\nfundamental basis for all doubt, fear, and unbelief.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Go back to the context of James\u2019 statement.\u00a0 <\/span>Who and what is he addressing?\u00a0 <\/span>All you have to do is back up a couple of\r\nverses and it becomes very clear.\u00a0 <\/span>Let\u2019s\r\nput that statement back in its proper context.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

James 4:7-17: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cSubmit\r\nyourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw\r\nnigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and\r\npurify your hearts, ye double minded. <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Be afflicted, and mourn,\r\nand weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.\r\nHumble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Speak not<\/span>\r\nevil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh<\/span> evil\r\nof his brother, and judgeth<\/span> his brother, speaketh<\/span> evil of the law, and judgeth<\/span>\r\nthe law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a\r\njudge. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

There is one lawgiver,\r\nwho is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest<\/span>\r\nanother? Go to now, ye that say, To<\/span>\r\nday<\/span> or to morrow<\/span> we will go into such a city,\r\nand continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not\r\nwhat shall be on the morrow. For what is your life?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

It is even a vapour<\/span><\/span>, that<\/span>\r\nappeareth<\/span> for a little time, and then vanisheth<\/span> away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will,\r\nwe shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all\r\nsuch rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth<\/span>\r\nto do good,<\/span> and doeth it not, to him it is sin.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Do you see who James\r\nis talking to?\u00a0 <\/span>His address is to people\r\nwho are unsubmissive<\/span> to God: folks who \u2013 instead of\r\nresisting Satan and his lies \u2013 believe his \u201cHath God said\u201d lies.\u00a0 <\/span>He continues to spell out the fact that he is\r\nspeaking to folks who are double-minded and evil-speaking \u2013 particularly\r\nspeaking evil of their brothers and sisters in the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

THESE are the\r\nbraggarts who boast that they will go here and there, conduct business, and\r\nprofit unto themselves without any concept of the purpose of gain and blessing\r\nand abundance.\u00a0 <\/span>It is within that context\r\nthat James admonishes them to withdraw their boasting and rather say, <\/span>\u201cif<\/span> the Lord will, we shall live and do this or that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

This admonition was\r\nNEVER meant to be applied to those things already clearly expressed by the Lord\r\nas being His will and purpose, His heart\u2019s desire or His sovereign design.\u00a0 <\/span>The apostle Paul has expressed it like this.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Romans 12:2:<\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cAnd be\r\nnot fashioned or made [in the mindset] of this world: but be transformed and\r\ncompletely changed by the renewing and renovation of your mind, that you may\r\nput to the test in the crucible of personal experience what is that good, and\r\nacceptable, fully agreeing with the complete heart\u2019s desire of God.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Obviously, this is my\r\nexpanded translation from the Greek text, but I\u2019ve expanded the Greek\r\nphraseology deliberately to help you grasp the picture Paul is presenting.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The mindset of this\r\nworld is in agreement with doubt, fear and unbelief.\u00a0 <\/span>The mindset of this world is in agreement\r\nwith Satan\u2019s question, \u201cHath God said?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It takes a\r\ntransformation from that mindset in order to be in agreement with the Lord\r\nJesus Christ.\u00a0 <\/span>Reading Paul\u2019s statement\r\nin the KJV, it comes out <\/span>\u201cthat you may prove<\/u> what is that good<\/span>\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The word \u201cprove\u201d is\r\ntaken from the Greek dokimazo<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>, <\/span><\/b>and is an application of a word \u2013 dokimon<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>\u2013\r\ncoined by numismatists to describe the heat and pressure, the melting process\r\nused to determine the authenticity of precious metals and coins.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Dokimon<\/span><\/i><\/b>represented<\/span><\/span> the testing in a\r\ncrucible \u2013 hence my translation \u201cthat you may put to the test in the crucible\r\nof personal experience\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The will of God as\r\ndescribed by Paul to the Romans is not the sovereign, unchanging purposes, but\r\nrather the heart\u2019s desire, the intended objectives of the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

So how do we put to the test God\u2019s Word in our lives in\r\norder to prove, to demonstrate to our satisfaction and to live in a practical\r\nsense the Will of God?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

It\u2019s pretty simple,\r\nreally.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

He has clearly\r\nexpressed His will on virtually every topic you can think of.\u00a0 <\/span>Again, I note that \u201cHis will\u201d in this case\r\nrepresents His deepest heart\u2019s desire \u2013 NOT His sovereign, unchanging\r\npurposes.\u00a0 <\/span>We often confuse the two.\u00a0 <\/span>Before I continue let me clarify this.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The word used many\r\ntimes in the Hebrew text for the sovereign purposes of God<\/u> is: <\/span>\u00e4\u00e1\u02dcL\u00dc\u00e7\u2019\u00ee\u00c7<\/span><\/span> <\/span>macha\u00f5sha\u00f2ba\u00f2h<\/span><\/b><\/span>.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Its Greek counterpart, boulema<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>, <\/span><\/b>only appears twice in the NT Greek text, and\r\nnever in the context of our seeking after God\u2019s will.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The word most often\r\nappearing in the NT Greek is thelema<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>, <\/span><\/b>which comes from its root, thelo<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>. <\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>This\r\nword represents: heart\u2019s desire<\/u>, wish<\/u>, delight<\/u>, preference<\/u>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Huge difference,\r\nisn\u2019t there?\u00a0 <\/span>So many Christians fret and\r\nstew about whether they are in the will of God or not, and by and large those\r\nwho fret and stew have no clue what the will of God really is.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In order to have any\r\nconcept of the will of God, people MUST<\/b> first know God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 <\/span>That said,<\/span> let\u2019s\r\ntake a quick look at a few of the things that folks most often question.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Is it the will of God\r\nfor you to be sick?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/i><\/b>NO!<\/span><\/b> And again, NO!!!<\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>(See <\/span>\r\nIII John, vs. 2:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cBeloved, I wish above\r\nall things that thou mayest<\/span><\/u> prosper and be in\r\nhealth<\/u>, even as thy soul prospers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Is it the will of God\r\nfor you to be healed?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/i><\/b>YES!<\/span><\/b> And again, YES!!!\r\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Matthew 12:15: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201c\u2026and\r\ngreat multitudes followed him, and he healed them all<\/u>.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Matthew 14:14:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cAnd Jesus went forth,\r\nand saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he\r\nhealed their sick.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Matthew 15:30-31: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cAnd\r\ngreat multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind,\r\ndumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus\u2019 feet; and he\r\nhealed them<\/u>: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb\r\nto speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and\r\nthey glorified the God of Israel.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Matthew 19:2: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cAnd\r\ngreat multitudes followed him; and he healed them there<\/u>.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Matthew 21:14<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>\u201cAnd\r\nthe blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Mark 1:34: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cAnd\r\nhe healed many that were sick of divers<\/span> diseases, and\r\ncast out many devils<\/u>; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they\r\nknew <\/span>him.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>(We\u2019ll discuss more\r\non this later.)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Is it the will of God\r\nfor you to be in constant need?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/i><\/b>NO!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Philippians 4:19: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cBut myGod<\/span> shall supply all your need according to his riches in\r\nglory by Christ Jesus.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Hebrews 4:16<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>\u201cLet us\r\ntherefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that<\/span>\r\nwe may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I John 3:17-18: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cBut\r\nwhoso hath this world\u2019s good, and seeth<\/span> his brother\r\nhave need, and shutteth<\/span> up his bowels of compassion\r\nfrom him, how dwelleth<\/span> the love of God in him? My\r\nlittle children,<\/span> let us not love in word, neither in\r\ntongue; but in deed and in truth.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>(More\r\non this one later, too.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Is it the will of God\r\nfor you to prosper and be rich?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/i><\/b>YES!!<\/span><\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>Resoundingly, so!\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

II Corinthians 8:9: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cFor ye\r\nknow the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for\r\nyour sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich<\/u>.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>We\u2019ve already quoted this one, but it\r\napplies here, too.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

III John, vs. 2<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>\u201cBeloved,\r\nI wish above all things that thou mayest<\/span> prosper<\/u>\r\nand be in health, even as thy soul prospers.\u201d\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Proverbs 10:22<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>\u201cThe\r\nblessing of the Lord, it maketh<\/span> rich<\/u>, and He addeth<\/span> no sorrow with it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

There are so many\r\nother questions we could add to these four, but let\u2019s just take these since\r\nthese are the most common among Christians.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Is it the will of God\r\nfor you to be sick?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/i><\/b>I\u2019ve heard this\r\nquestion raised<\/span> so many times, it is almost\r\nnauseating.\u00a0 <\/span>There are folks who actually\r\nbelieve that it is God\u2019s will for them to be sick and to suffer \u201cbecause God\r\nuses sickness to teach us.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Did you know\r\nthat there is not one shred of evidence Scripturally<\/span>\r\nto support this lie?\u00a0 <\/span>Did you know that\r\nthere is not one single place in Scripture where Jesus refused to heal ANYONE\r\nwho came to Him?\u00a0 <\/span>Did you know that there\r\nis no place in Scripture where the Lord used sickness to teach anyone anything?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Is it the will of God\r\nfor you to be healed?<\/span><\/u><\/i><\/b> Were there lots of folks who didn\u2019t\r\nreceive healing?\u00a0 <\/span>Sure.\u00a0 <\/span>They were the ones who DIDN\u2019T come to Jesus\r\nand ask.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus even healed those who\r\nweren\u2019t normally entitled to receive healing \u2013 like the Syro<\/span>-Phoenician\r\nwoman who asked for her daughter\u2019s healing.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>When Jesus questioned her, she expressed the kind of faith in Him that\r\nHe wanted to see in Israel, much less those of other nations, and despite the\r\nfact that He had not yet gone to the Cross, He responded to the woman\u2019s faith\r\nand healed her daughter.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Is it the will of God\r\nfor you to be in constant need?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/i><\/b>Many people live\r\ntheir lives in constant need because they simply do not know the Word of God on\r\nthis subject, and because they\u2019ve been cheated by the lie of Satan that says\r\n\u201cit is more righteous and holy to live a humble (meaning \u201cbroke\u201d) and meager\r\nexistence.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Nowhere in Scripture is\r\nthere any such principle.\u00a0 <\/span>Humility isn\u2019t\r\na financial state: it is a condition of one\u2019s spirit!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Is it the will of God\r\nfor you to prosper and be rich?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/i><\/b>To believe otherwise\r\nis to say that God is a liar and the Truth is not in Him.\u00a0 <\/span>To believe otherwise is to believe that God\r\ndoesn\u2019t give a rip about the needs of His children \u2013 that He is a lousy Father\r\nwho hordes all of His riches to Himself.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Jesus deliberately took on Himself poverty and need, sickness and\r\ndisease when He went to the Cross so that we \u2013 through Him \u2013 might have life,\r\nliberty, peace, strength, health and prosperity.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I know what\u2019s coming\r\nnext!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

OK, if all of that is\r\ntrue, why am I in constant need?\u00a0 <\/span>If it\r\nis true that Jesus healed everyone that came to Him, why am I not healed when I\r\nask Him?\u00a0 <\/span>Why was I born with a birth\r\ndefect?\u00a0 <\/span>Why am I crippled?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then there are those\r\nwho say, \u201cI have faith in Jesus Christ, but nothing like that has ever happened\r\nto me!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Sorry, but you DON\u2019T\r\nhave faith.\u00a0 <\/span>You have hope.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

You know others have\r\nreceived their healing.\u00a0 <\/span>You know others\r\nhave been mightily blessed and prosper, but you don\u2019t.\u00a0 <\/span>You\u2019ve prayed, but nothing happened \u2013 at\r\nleast within the time frame you were thinking it should.\u00a0 <\/span>Why?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

\r\nFolks don\u2019t really\r\nlike to hear the fact that they don\u2019t have faith, but it is true.\u00a0 <\/span>Faith isn\u2019t some belief.\u00a0 <\/span>Faith isn\u2019t adhering to a set of Biblical\r\nprinciples.\u00a0 <\/span>Faith isn\u2019t\r\neven believing<\/span> in God.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

James put it like this:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

James 2:19-22:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cThou believest<\/span>\r\nthat there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.\r\nBut wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?\u00a0 <\/span>Was not Abraham our father justified by\r\nworks, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest<\/span>\r\nthou how faith wrought with his works,<\/span> and by works\r\nwas faith made perfect?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Obviously, demons\r\nbelieve in God.\u00a0 <\/span>Obviously, they believe\r\nin the Lord Jesus Christ \u2013 and they tremble at His very presence!\u00a0 <\/span>But they sure don\u2019t have faith!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Lots of folks say, \u201cI\r\nbelieve,\u201d but there is no faith to back up that belief.\u00a0 <\/span>They don\u2019t know the Word of God.\u00a0 <\/span>They haven\u2019t heard the Lord speak to\r\nthem.\u00a0 <\/span>They haven\u2019t heard the Holy Spirit\r\nmake the Word come alive in their inner beings in order to have the rhema<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/i><\/b>(spoken word) by which faith comes.\u00a0 <\/span>Consequently, there is no action to follow\r\ntheir \u201cbelief.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>By the same token, when\r\nthe Lord doesn\u2019t come through for them within a certain amount of time, they\r\nchange their confession to one of fear, doubt, and unbelief.\u00a0 <\/span>The moment that they do so, they lose the\r\nvery thing they say they have \u201cbelieved God for.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

When a person has\r\nfaith, when a person has heard the Word of God in their innermost being, change\r\ntakes place: a creative force begins to go forth from their mouths\r\nthat sets<\/span> in motion the very thing they speak their agreement with.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Think about what\r\nJesus said.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Mark 11:22-26: <\/span><\/u><\/b>\u201cAnd\r\nJesus answering saith<\/span> unto them, Have faith in God.\r\nFor verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou\r\nremoved, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart,\r\nbut shall believe that those things which he saith<\/span>\r\nshall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith<\/span><\/u>.\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Therefore\r\nI say unto you, What<\/u><\/span> things soever<\/span> ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive\r\nthem, and ye shall have them<\/u>. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought<\/span><\/span> against any: that your\r\nFather also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do\r\nnot forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your\r\ntrespasses.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Do you see the\r\nconnection?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

You can\u2019t have what\r\nyou speak against!\u00a0 <\/span>You CAN have what you\r\nspeak, provided you speak in faith, believing God and taking Him at His\r\nWord!\u00a0 <\/span>You can\u2019t make your confession\r\nwhile you have doubt in your heart and expect to see any results either.\u00a0 <\/span>It doesn\u2019t work that way.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

At the same time, you\r\ncan\u2019t stand asking God for healing, for health, for provision to meet your\r\nneeds while holding unforgiveness<\/span> in your heart\r\ntowards your wife, your husband, your parents, or someone who has hurt you in\r\none way or another.\u00a0 <\/span>Unforgiveness<\/span>\r\nis the quickest blockade to receiving from the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

If you don\u2019t forgive,\r\nyou aren\u2019t forgiven.\u00a0 <\/span>Remember the Lord\u2019s\r\nPrayer?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>\u201cForgive us our\r\ntrespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us\u2026\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>If you don\u2019t forgive, and you aren\u2019t\r\nforgiven, then you are not in a place of standing before God to receive\r\nanything you ask of Him.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It isn\u2019t that God\u2019s will is to withhold it from you.\u00a0 <\/span>It isn\u2019t!\u00a0\r\n<\/span>But many Christians think they can ask for anything from the Lord,\r\nwilly-nilly, and not meet God\u2019s conditions for receiving them.\u00a0 <\/span>God\u2019s will is that you prosper!\u00a0 <\/span>God\u2019s will is that you be in health!\u00a0 <\/span>But God\u2019s will is also that you prosper in\r\nyour soul, and He ties your health and prosperity directly to the prosperity of\r\nyour soul.\u00a0 <\/span>No soul prosperity, no\r\nhealth.\u00a0 <\/span>No soul prosperity, no wealth or\r\nabundance.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The prosperity of your soul is a mandatory prerequisite for\r\nyou walking in and enjoying the will of God in every area of your life.\u00a0 <\/span>If you prosper in your soul, it is because\r\nyou are continually rejecting the lies of Satan.\u00a0 <\/span>If you prosper in your soul, it is because\r\nyou are continually agreeing with \u2013 AND CONFESSING WITH YOUR MOUTH \u2013 God\u2019s\r\nspecifically spoken and written word concerning your situation.\u00a0 <\/span>If you prosper in your soul, it is because\r\nyou are walking in faith.\u00a0 <\/span>If you prosper\r\nin your soul, it is because you are walking in the commandment of love.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\u2019ve really gone around a forty-acre field today with our\r\ndiscussions on knowing the will of God, but if you haven\u2019t already seen it, you\r\ncannot operate in Kingdom Authority and power if you don\u2019t first know the Will\r\nof God!\u00a0 <\/span>This is one of the most\r\nsignificant and fundamental Keys of the Kingdom. Without KNOWING the Will and\r\nHeart\u2019s Desire of the Lord, faith is inoperable and Kingdom Authority is\r\nnonexistent!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
