We continue this week with\r\nour look at what happened with Joseph, how the integrity of the Lord operated\r\nin him even when he was a slave, then falsely accused and thrown into prison.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I said this last week, and\r\nI will say it again!\u00a0 <\/span>The authority of\r\nthe Lord is not cheap!\u00a0 <\/span>If we are going\r\nto operate in all that we\u2019ve been designed and created for, our flesh is going\r\nto undergo pain, deprivation and occasional periods of what seems like torture.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The big difference between\r\nwhat our flesh endures and what our spirits experience is that our spirits\r\nprosper, and we grow into the level of spiritual maturity that must exist in\r\nus.\u00a0 <\/span>We were designed from the beginning\r\nfor dominion and rulership<\/span>, but we know from the\r\noriginal Creation that there were commands and restrictions for that dominion\r\nto function and continue.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

NOW!\u00a0 <\/span>Watch what happens with Joseph.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Genesis 39:21-23<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>But the LORD was with\r\nJoseph<\/span><\/u>, and showed him mercy, and gave him favour<\/span>\r\nin the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed\r\nto Joseph\u2019s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they\r\ndid there, he was the doer of it. The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing<\/span> that was under his hand; because the LORD was\r\nwith him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper<\/u>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

There is an important\r\nprinciple revealed here.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>When we have\r\nthe favor of the Lord, when we have His mercy, when we maintain our fellowship\r\nand love for the Lord in the face of every attack or accusation that comes, we\r\ncan be solidly assured that the Lord will be with us, and everything we put\r\nour hands to will prosper<\/b>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now things are going\r\nto take an interesting turn.\u00a0 <\/span>Joseph has\r\nnow been in prison for 11 years.\u00a0 <\/span>Every\r\nprisoner in that prison is under his watch.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Although he was not the official superintendent of the prison, he was\r\nthe practical superintendent.\u00a0 <\/span>Whatever\r\nany prisoner needed or desired, they came to Joseph.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Two more royal\r\noffenders are now cast into this same prison: the king\u2019s butler (another term\r\nfor his cupbearer) and the chief baker.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Watch what now unfolds!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Genesis 40:1-8<\/span><\/u><\/b>:<\/span><\/b>And<\/span><\/span> it\r\ncame to pass after these things, that<\/i> the butler of the king of Egypt\r\nand his<\/i> baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt. And Pharaoh was\r\nwroth against two of<\/i> his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and\r\nagainst the chief of the bakers. And he put them in ward in the house of the\r\ncaptain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was<\/i> bound.\r\nAnd the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they\r\ncontinued a season in ward.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And\r\nthey dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man\r\naccording to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the\r\nking of Egypt, which were<\/i> bound in the prison. And Joseph came in unto\r\nthem in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were<\/i> sad.\r\nAnd he asked Pharaoh\u2019s officers that were<\/i> with him in the ward of his\r\nlord\u2019s house, saying, Wherefore<\/span> look ye so<\/i>\r\nsadly to day<\/span>? And they said unto him, We<\/span> have dreamed a dream, and there is<\/i> no interpreter\r\nof it.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now we are going to\r\nsee a new dimension of the authority of the Lord manifested in Joseph.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Genesis 40:8-19<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>And Joseph said unto\r\nthem, Do<\/i><\/span> not interpretations belong<\/i> to\r\nGod? tell<\/span> me them<\/i>, I pray you. And the chief\r\nbutler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was<\/i>\r\nbefore me; And in the vine were<\/i> three branches: and it was<\/i> as\r\nthough it budded, and<\/i> her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof\r\nbrought forth ripe grapes: And Pharaoh\u2019s cup was<\/i> in my hand: and I took\r\nthe grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh\u2019s cup, and I gave the cup into\r\nPharaoh\u2019s hand. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And\r\nJoseph said unto him, This<\/span> is<\/i> the\r\ninterpretation of it: The three branches are<\/i> three days: Yet within\r\nthree days shall Pharaoh lift up thine<\/span> head, and\r\nrestore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt<\/span> deliver\r\nPharaoh\u2019s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast<\/span> his butler. But think on me when it shall be well with\r\nthee, and show kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto\r\nPharaoh, and bring me out of this house: For indeed I was stolen away out of\r\nthe land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put\r\nme into the dungeon. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

All of a sudden,\r\nJoseph realizes that his case could be brought before Pharaoh!\u00a0 <\/span>He could actually be released from the\r\nprison.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

When\r\nthe chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I\r\nalso was<\/i> in my dream, and, behold, I had<\/i> three white baskets on\r\nmy head: And in the uppermost basket there was<\/i> of all manner of bakemeats<\/span> for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of\r\nthe basket upon my head. And Joseph answered and said, This is<\/i> the\r\ninterpretation thereof: The three baskets are<\/i> three days: Yet within\r\nthree days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on\r\na tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Sure enough, Joseph\u2019s\r\nprophecy comes to pass.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Genesis\r\n40:20-23:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>And it\r\ncame to pass the third day, which was<\/i> Pharaoh\u2019s birthday,\r\nthat<\/span> he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of\r\nthe chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. And he restored the\r\nchief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh\u2019s\r\nhand: But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them. Yet did\r\nnot the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat<\/span> him.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Two more years\r\npass.\u00a0 <\/span>Now we will see the final events\r\nunfold that bring Joseph to the throne of Egypt as its Prime Minister.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Genesis 41:17-44<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>And Pharaoh said unto\r\nJoseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river: And, behold,\r\nthere came up out of the river seven kine<\/span>, fatfleshed<\/span> and well favoured<\/span>; and\r\nthey fed in a meadow: And, behold, seven other kine<\/span>\r\ncame up after them, poor and very ill favoured<\/span> and leanfleshed<\/span>, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt\r\nfor badness: And the lean and the ill favoured<\/span> kine<\/span> did eat up the first seven fat kine<\/span>:\r\nAnd when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten\r\nthem; but they were<\/i> still ill favoured<\/span>, as at\r\nthe beginning. So I awoke. And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came\r\nup in one stalk, full and good: And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and<\/i>\r\nblasted with the east wind, sprung up after them: And the thin ears devoured\r\nthe seven good ears: and I told this<\/i> unto the magicians; but there\r\nwas<\/i> none that could declare it<\/i> to me. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And\r\nJoseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is<\/i> one: God hath showed\r\nPharaoh what he is<\/i> about to do. The seven good kine<\/span>\r\nare<\/i> seven years; and the seven good ears are<\/i> seven years: the\r\ndream is<\/i> one. And the seven thin and ill favoured<\/span>\r\nkine<\/span> that came up after them are<\/i> seven years;\r\nand the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of\r\nfamine. This is<\/i> the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is<\/i>\r\nabout to do he showeth<\/span> unto Pharaoh. Behold,<\/span> there come seven years of great plenty throughout\r\nall the land of Egypt: <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And\r\nthere shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be\r\nforgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land; And the\r\nplenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for\r\nit shall be<\/i> very grievous. And for that the dream was doubled unto\r\nPharaoh twice; it is<\/i> because the thing is<\/i> established by God, and\r\nGod will shortly bring it to pass.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now\r\ntherefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the\r\nland of Egypt. Let Pharaoh do this<\/i>, and let him appoint officers over\r\nthe land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven\r\nplenteous years. And let them gather all the food of those good years that\r\ncome, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the\r\ncities. And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of\r\nfamine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through\r\nthe famine. And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all\r\nhis servants. And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one<\/i>\r\nas this is<\/i>, a man in whom the Spirit of God is<\/i>? And Pharaoh said\r\nunto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath showed thee all this, there is<\/i> none so<\/span> discreet and wise as thou art<\/i>: Thou shalt<\/span> be over my house, and according unto thy word shall\r\nall my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh\r\nsaid unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And\r\nPharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph\u2019s hand, and\r\narrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; And\r\nhe made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before\r\nhim, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler<\/i> over all the land of Egypt. And\r\nPharaoh said unto Joseph, I am<\/i> Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man\r\nlift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh called Joseph\u2019s\r\nname Zaphnathpaaneah<\/span>; and he gave him to wife Asenath<\/span> the daughter of Potipherah<\/span>\r\npriest of On<\/span>. And Joseph went out over all<\/i> the\r\nland of Egypt.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

So Joseph is now the\r\nPrime Minister of Egypt.\u00a0 <\/span>The\r\ndreams\/visions he had some 13 years earlier are now unfolding in technicolor<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span>But there is still one more part of this yet\r\nto fulfill.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Genesis 42:1-6<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Now when Jacob saw that\r\nthere was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why<\/span>\r\ndo ye look one upon another? And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is\r\ncorn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may\r\nlive, and not die. And Joseph\u2019s ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt.\r\nBut Benjamin, Joseph\u2019s brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest<\/span> peradventure mischief befall him. And the sons of\r\nIsrael came to buy corn<\/i> among those that came: for the famine was in the\r\nland of Canaan.\u00a0 <\/span>And Joseph was<\/i>\r\nthe governor over the land, and<\/i> he it was<\/i> that sold to all the\r\npeople of the land: and Joseph\u2019s brethren came, and bowed down themselves\r\nbefore him with<\/i> their faces to the earth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now the second part of Joseph\u2019s dreams have<\/span> been fulfilled.\u00a0 <\/span>His brothers are bowing down before him.\u00a0 <\/span>Thirteen years, his dress as an Egyptian,<\/span> and his place of authority have so altered his\r\nappearance that his brothers don\u2019t recognize him.\u00a0 <\/span>But there is still more to come.\u00a0 <\/span>Joseph\u2019s father still has to be a part of\r\nthis picture.\u00a0 <\/span>We skip forward past\r\nJoseph\u2019s test of his brothers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Genesis 42:29-32<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>And\r\nthey came unto Jacob their father unto the land of Canaan, and told him all\r\nthat befell unto them; saying, The<\/span> man, who is<\/i>\r\nthe lord of the land, spake<\/span> roughly to us, and took\r\nus for spies of the country. And we said unto him, We<\/span> are<\/i>\r\ntrue men<\/i>; we are no spies: We be<\/i> twelve brethren, sons of our\r\nfather; one is<\/i> not, and the youngest is<\/i> this day with our father\r\nin the land of Canaan.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Joseph\u2019s test of his\r\nbrothers takes on a couple more tests, the last one requiring that they bring\r\nhis brother Benjamin to see him.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Genesis 43:15-18<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>And the men took that\r\npresent, and they took double money in their hand, and Benjamin; and rose up,\r\nand went down to Egypt, and stood before Joseph. And when Joseph saw Benjamin\r\nwith them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring these<\/i> men home, and\r\nslay, and make ready; for these<\/i> men shall dine with me at noon. And the\r\nman did as Joseph bade; and the man brought the men into Joseph\u2019s house. And\r\nthe men were afraid, because they were brought into Joseph\u2019s house;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

No kidding!\u00a0 <\/span>Joseph had been playing a game with them to\r\nreveal their hearts and to see if change had occurred in them as well.\u00a0 <\/span>Now it was time to reveal himself<\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span>Because of the treachery of his brothers many\r\nyears before, you can understand their fear.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Joseph had to assure them that everything that had unfolded was for the\r\npurpose of their salvation and preservation, along with the nation.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jacob was\r\nunderstandably resistant when he first heard the brothers\u2019 story of Joseph\r\nbeing alive and the governor of Egypt but he did relent and at last Joseph saw\r\nhis father bow before him.\u00a0 <\/span>The authority\r\nof the Lord was visible for all to see.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let\u2019s shift gears for\r\na bit.\u00a0 <\/span>If it seems like I\u2019m traipsing\r\naround a 40-acre field, I am.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>(Grin)\u00a0 <\/span>Bear with me, family!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation 22:1-5:And<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b> he\r\nshowed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of\r\nthe throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on\r\neither side of the river, was there<\/i> the tree of life, which bare twelve manner<\/i><\/span> of<\/i> fruits, and<\/i> yielded her fruit\r\nevery month: and the leaves of the tree were<\/i> for the healing of the\r\nnations. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And\r\nthere shall be no more curse<\/span>: but the throne of God\r\nand of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they\r\nshall see his face; and his name shall be<\/i> in their foreheads. And there\r\nshall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for\r\nthe Lord God giveth<\/span> them light: and they shall reign for ever<\/span> and ever.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

One of the things\r\nwhich we have heard in the realm of the Spirit is that this is a year of\r\npromise.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a year in which the Lord\r\nis fulfilling the deep cries within the hearts of those who have merged with\r\nHim.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a year<\/span>\r\nin which we will see some very significant promises of the Lord, long kept in\r\nour hearts, come to fruition.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

It is also a year in\r\nwhich -- at least during the first part of this year -- the processing will be\r\nhotter than ever.\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Witness the coronavirus<\/span> pandemic.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Most of you know that I worked with David Wilkerson back in the\r\n1960\u2019s.\u00a0 <\/span>In 1972, he published a book\r\ntitled, The Vision, in which the Lord showed him events to unfold in this\r\ncountry in the years and decades to come.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>In 1986, he had a prophetic word that precisely describes where we are\r\ntoday.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m indebted to one of our\r\nfriends for sending me this prophecy as a reminder.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u201cI see a plague\u201d\r\nDavid said, \u201ccoming on the world, and the bars, churches and government will\r\nshut down.\u00a0 <\/span>The plague will hit New York\r\nCity and shake it like it has never been shaken.\u00a0 <\/span>The plague is going to force prayerless<\/span> believers into radical prayer and into their\r\nBibles, and repentance will cry from the man of God in the pulpit.\u00a0 <\/span>And out of it will come a third Great<\/span> Awakening that will sweep America and the world.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Because of the desire\r\nof the Lord for a prepared Bride, it is essential that we endure the intense\r\nheat of the furnace of affliction.\u00a0 <\/span>In\r\nspite of that, we have heard the Lord say that by the time this year passes\r\ninto the next, we will have all but forgotten the pain of that processing in\r\nthe midst of experiencing the joys He has opened to us.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jesus Christ, from\r\nthe beginning, has sought after a Bride who would be His counterpart, His\r\nco-equal: one who could be seated with Him on the Throne.\u00a0 <\/span>We have all heard many messages and prophecies\r\nduring the years on the subject of \"being seated with Him in Heavenly\r\nplaces,\" but for most that is a somewhat nebulous concept.\u00a0 <\/span>Although we do not claim to have a complete\r\nunderstanding of every aspect of this truth, the Lord has been giving to us\r\nrevelation pertaining to the Throne.\u00a0 <\/span>We\r\nare seeing -- in a practical dimension -- how critical it has been for us to\r\nhave experienced this intense processing and preparation.\u00a0 <\/span>We are seeing how the Throne functions.\u00a0 <\/span>More than that, we are seeing where our Lord\r\nand Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, is taking us in the realm of rulership<\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span>It is the unfolding of this realm that we\r\nwould like to share with you.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The first and most\r\nimportant aspect is the foundation of the Throne.\u00a0 <\/span>Without this most basic of understandings,\r\neverything pertaining to the Throne is pure theory, and lacking in any\r\npractical application.\u00a0 <\/span>Being\r\n\"seated in heavenly places\" is anything but a theory.\u00a0 <\/span>It is not<\/b> a metaphor, and it is not\r\nsome mystical or ethereal concept for the so-called \"super\r\nspiritual.\"<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Consider Adam and Eve\r\nin the Garden.\u00a0 <\/span>Genesis 2:26 - 28 states,\"And<\/span><\/span><\/span> God said, Let us make\r\nman in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion...........over\r\nthe fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing\r\nthat moveth<\/span> upon the earth.\"<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The operative word in\r\nthis statement is, \"dominion.\"\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/b>The essence of dominion is rulership<\/span>:\r\nhaving and being in charge of; having active control over a region, a realm, an area<\/span><\/i>. <\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>The\r\nHebrew word in the original text is: radah<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>;\r\n<\/span><\/b>and it means: to prevail against, to subjugate, to rule over, to\r\ntread upon, or to possess oneself of -- to take possession of.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Sovereign rule has\r\nalways been a part of the very essence of the makeup and character of the Lord\r\nJesus Christ.\u00a0 <\/span>We know, therefore, that\r\nwe were destined from the beginning and designed for the Throne.\u00a0 <\/span>It was a part of the daily operational\r\nfunction of Adam and Eve -- but<\/b>, it was only functional so long as they\r\nwere in union and<\/b> communion with the Lord.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Within the Garden, in\r\nthat place of intimate relationship, Adam and Eve were clothed with the glory\r\nof the Lord.\u00a0 <\/span>They were clothed in\r\ntruth.\u00a0 <\/span>As soon as they partook of the\r\nTree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, they substituted \"Knowledge\"\r\nfor Truth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Consider the significance\r\nof this.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

First of all, we\r\nshould each be aware by this time that creation began by the spoken word of\r\n\"The Word,\" the Lord Jesus Christ, in a place of absolute agreement\r\nwith the Father and the Holy Spirit.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>There is a phrase which occurs repeatedly during the Genesis account of\r\ncreation, <\/span>\"And God said\u2026\"<\/span>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>This phrase, inclusive with its adjoining words, has a numerical value\r\nof 8-8-8, the triad of eights which represents Jesus Christ.\u00a0 <\/span>Each time we read, <\/span>\"And\r\nGod said,\" <\/span>it\r\nwas Jesus causing an act of creation by speaking the word out of that creative\r\npower within His being.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

When He created Adam\r\nand Eve, we are told that He created them <\/span>\"in His image,\"and<\/span><\/span><\/span> He emphasizes this point twice in the\r\nsame verse.\u00a0 <\/span>(see<\/span>\r\nGenesis 1:27)\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>\"...in\r\nthe image of God created He him; male and female created He them.\"<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

This is a whole lot\r\nmore than just being created with God\u2019s physical attributes, but that\u2019s where\r\nwe will take a break for today, and continue next week.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
