talking about the significance of the laying on of\r\nhands and the impartation that comes with it.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Generally we think of the laying on of hands in relationship to healing\r\nor ministry for some particular issue \u2013 not as a prophetic impartation.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The Lord directed me many years ago to lay\r\nhands on certain individuals as He directs and prophesy over them.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The laying on of hands generally comes with\r\nthe impartation of certain prophetic gifts.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.75pt;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>There\r\nis an aspect of the laying on of hands that needs to be considered \u2014 and this\r\nis one that is generally missed because it is not so obvious or plainly written\r\nin Scripture \u2014 and that is the impartation of the anointing of Holy\r\nSpirit.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\r\n<span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Consider Samuel and David:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>I\r\nSamuel 16:12-13, KJV<\/span><\/b><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>:<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\r\nfont-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>And he sent, and\r\nbrought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and\r\ngoodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then\r\nSamuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and\r\nthe Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>One\r\nof the aspects of the commissioning that happens when folks are anointed is that\r\nit comes with the right hand.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Though not\r\nspecifically stated in this instance, Samuel would have used his right hand to\r\npour the oil upon David.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Once the oil\r\nwas poured on him Samuel followed the priestly tradition of using his right\r\nhand to rub the oil upon David\u2019s head and smear it liberally into his hair and\r\nskin.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Every\r\ntime we see the anointing of a king or a priest anywhere in the Old Testament,\r\nthe oil was first poured upon the individual, and it was then rubbed into their\r\nhead, signifying a saturation that was to spread throughout their entire being.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The\r\nanointing was a commissioning which set a person apart for the purpose to which\r\nGod had called and designed that individual to fulfill.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Laying\r\non of hands is not, and was not, strictly a New Testament \u2014 post-Pentecost \u2014\r\nrealm of ministry.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>One only has to look\r\nat how David and\/or Solomon describes the hand of God \u2014 or more accurately, the\r\nhands of God, and what each hand signifies.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Take a look at a few examples from the Psalms and Proverbs:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>(This\r\nis where I want to wrap up today\u2019s discussion..<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>We still have a ways to go with this part of our study, and we will\r\ncontinue on from this point next week.)<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><u><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\r\n\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Psalm 16:11 KJV<\/span><\/u><\/b><span style='font-size:\r\n13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>:<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#CC0000'>Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness\r\nof joy; And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men,\r\nand go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill\r\nwith the rod of God in mine hand. So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and\r\nfought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#C00000'>And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel\r\nprevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><sup><span\r\nstyle='font-size:8.5pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#C00000'>But Moses\u2019 hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it\r\nunder him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one\r\non the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady\r\nuntil the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people\r\nwith the edge of the sword.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>There\r\nare two individual pictures seen in this event: the first being that of Moses\r\nholding the Rod of Authority in his right hand, the second of the necessity of\r\nhaving his left hand outstretched toward the ongoing battle between Joshua\r\n(with his soldiers) and the Amalekites.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>It\r\nwas much more than simply having his right hand outstretched with the Rod of\r\nAuthority.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>That Rod of Authority, of\r\ncourse, represented the hand of God against the enemy.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The\r\nleft hand needed to also be outstretched in order for Joshua to experience\r\ncomplete safety and protection from the enemy he was pitted against.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>When both hands were extended, Joshua was\r\nable to fight effectively and completely subdue his foe.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>We\r\nsee one of the first examples in Deuteronomy 7 of what takes place when both\r\nhands are laid upon an individual as a sign of separation, or being set apart\r\nfrom the corporate body \u2014 and in this case, the act of separation is the\r\nexecution of the judgment of the Law of Moses.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>In this instance, Moses is talking about someone who has been witnessed\r\nbowing down to, or serving some false god, and the contamination that would\r\nbring into the camp of Israel.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><u><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\r\n\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Deuteronomy 17: 5-7, KJV<\/span><\/u><\/b><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>:<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\r\nfont-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>Then shalt thou bring\r\nforth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy\r\ngates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they\r\ndie.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>At the mouth of two witnesses, or\r\nthree witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the\r\nmouth of one witness he shall not be put to death. The hands of the witnesses\r\nshall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the\r\npeople. Sothou shalt put the evil away from among you.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Here\r\nwe see that those who serve as witnesses (in this instance, against someone who\r\nhas committed evil) must lay both hands upon the individual who has\r\ntransgressed as a sign of separation, and as an authoritative and legal\r\nact.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Their act of laying hands upon the\r\noffender becomes the first witness against him or her, but it is still\r\nnecessary for the camp of Israel to agree and for them to stretch forth their\r\nhands and lay them upon the individual as the final witness of separation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>In\r\nthe case of a person committing an act against God within the camp of Israel,\r\nthe significance of the separation from Israel meant death to the offender.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>For those laying their hands on the offender,\r\nthey were swearing their lives to the truth before God, and they were acting as\r\nHis proxy in enacting and executing His judgment.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span>This brings us to the critical aspect of\r\nknowing whereof we testify or bringing witness, either for or against, as proxy\r\nfor the Lord.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>David puts it like this in\r\nPsalm 24:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#003399'>Who is it that will be elevated to a high place and promoted by\r\nGod?<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Or, who shall live and continue to\r\nbe ordained to live and stand as having been set apart to the holy places and\r\nthings of God?<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#003399'>He whose hands are clean, innocent and blameless, whose heart is\r\nclear and does not condemn him, whose soul and mind have not been self-elevated\r\nto idolatry and the worship of reason [which is useless and deceptive], nor has\r\nhe sworn [by sevens] and testified falsely and fraudulently [in order to\r\nexecute judgment against another].<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>(Psalm 24:2-3, RAC\r\nTranslation & Amplification)<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>To\r\nadd to what David has already written, he makes the following prophecy in Psalm\r\n28:4-5:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#C00000'>Give them according to their deeds, and according to the\r\nwickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render\r\nto them their desert.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#C00000'>Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation\r\nof his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Let\u2019s\r\nwrap up this basis for understanding the laying on of hands by looking at one\r\nother use of the hands as David sings it:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b><u><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\r\n\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Psalm 63:3-4, KJV<\/span><\/u><\/b><span style='font-size:\r\n13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#003399'>:<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\r\nfont-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>Because thy\r\nlovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will\r\nlift up my hands in thy name.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>In\r\nthis instance (and many other similar Psalms), David expresses the extending\r\nforth of his hands as the means to bless the Lord, to magnify the Lord, to\r\npraise His Name.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>When he says, \u201cI will\r\nlift up my hands IN thy name,\u201d he is giving his hands to the Lord, placing them\r\nIN and INTO His very character, makeup and essence \u2014 making his hands available\r\nto the Lord for His plans, purposes and destiny.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Now,\r\nlet\u2019s move on to the next part of this subject: Resurrection of the Dead.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Ever since Adam and\r\nEve ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, death has been a\r\nmandated part of our existence as their descendants.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\r\n<span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The human genetic\r\nmakeup has had death ingrained in its DNA. Death, and the very preparation for\r\nit has become the core of our culture. Without actually considering that this\r\nis the reason, we look at foods from the perspective of what will make us\r\nhealthier and live longer. Many folks pick and choose their automobiles\r\npredicated on how safe they will be in them.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\r\n<span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The news media is\r\nfilled with news and events that all surround how we live and\/or how we will\r\nface death. Most news, whether on TV or in the newspapers, or on the radio, or\r\nin magazines has a death element to it. Then there\u2019s this: We buy life and health\r\ninsurance because we are betting that we will get sick and\/or die before the\r\nactuarials predict. On the other hand the insurance companies are betting that\r\nwe will live and stay healthier longer than the actuarials.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\r\n<span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Our\r\nthoughts and our speech are filled with a mindset and comments that incorporate\r\ndeath in one way or another. Despite the promises that Je-sus made and the\r\nCovenant He provides, Christians plan for death. The body of Christ has, for\r\nthe most part, lost sight of the Covenant that pro-vides health, strength, and\r\n\u2014 not only loooooonnng life \u2014 but deliverance from death. The previous\r\nfoundational truths that we have considered: <b>(1) <\/b>Repentance from dead\r\nworks; <b>(2) <\/b>Faith toward God; <b>(3) <\/b>Baptisms; and <b>(4) <\/b>Laying\r\non of Hands.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Laying on of Hands\r\nare nearly as difficult for Christians to grasp and lock into their mindsets,\r\ntheir spirits, their way of thinking, and their behavior patterns as is the\r\nfifth foundation: Resurrection of the Dead. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Resurrection of the\r\ndead takes on a two-fold perspective. The first is one that most Christians can\r\naccept because it is off in the far, far future. It is something that takes\r\nplace after one has died, stood before the judgment seat of God and found\r\ninnocent of sin. They are then raised to life in the realm of the Spirit. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>There\u2019s another\r\naspect of this line of thought that says we are already dead in our sins \u2014 dead\r\nspiritually. The acceptance and acknowledgement of Jesus\u2019 as the Only Begotten\r\nSon of God having suffered and died for our sins is our redemption from that\r\nsin and the curse of spiritual death and separation from God that the sin\r\nbrings.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Everybody good so\r\nfar with this?<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\r\n<span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>What gets lost in\r\nthis one-sided view is that Jesus did not only die on the Tree of the Knowledge\r\nof Good and Evil, He laid the axe to its root and was resurrected from the\r\ngrave by Father God!<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\r\n<span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Mankind was NEVER\r\ndesigned to die in the first place. When Adam and Eve were first created, they\r\nwere created in the image and likeness of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\r\n<span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Two words occur in\r\nthe Hebrew text which clarify this: <\/span><b><i><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\r\nfont-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#003399'>tselem<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>(translated:\r\nimage), and <\/span><b><i><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#003399'>demuth<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\r\n\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>(translated: likeness). The word, <\/span><b><i><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#003399'>tselem<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>, actually conveys\r\nthe sense: <b>someone who exactly resembles in appearance, an exact replica<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\r\n<span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>\u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>The word, <\/span><b><i><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\";color:#003399'>demuth<\/span><\/i><\/b><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>, literally means:\r\nan <b>exact model; alike in characteristics and makeup<\/b>. Hence we were made\r\nto be just like Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Our breath was Father\u2019s breath.\r\nOur life-span, eternity! Our character and makeup: interdimensional, having the\r\nability to function in both the heavenlies and in the earthly realm. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>For two thousand\r\nyears Adam and Eve lived in the Garden, walking and talking with Jesus,\r\nenjoying the fellowship, receiving revelation, being given the ability to\r\ndecree and declare the very nature and makeup of the various living species \u2014\r\nanimals, fish, birds; i.e., everything that walked or moved upon the face of\r\nthe earth. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Death was not a\r\npart of their makeup. Adam and Eve never knew what death was, except that God\r\nhad said to them when they were first introduced to the Garden<\/span><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>,\r\n\u201cOf every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the\r\nknowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that class=Default style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:17.6pt'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>That\u2019s where we\r\nhave to leave it for today.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>This is a\r\nrather difficult subject for most people today because of the non-stop\r\nprogramming in our society.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>We get all\r\nthese reports in the media of the number of people infected with the\r\nCoronaVirus, but the media only deals with the negative aspect of it.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>They don\u2019t mention that the actual death rate\r\nis lower than that of the common flu.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>The focus is on the threat of death.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>We see it in just about every area you can think of. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=Default
