RULING AND REIGNING WITH GOD<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Part 23<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

January 8, 2021<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

As we continue to move into this new year, and approach the\r\nswearing-in ceremony for President Trump\u2019s second term, opposition against him\r\nand the plans of the Lord have continued unabated.\u00a0 <\/span>That means that we have an increased\r\nresponsibility to be lifting him before the Lord, along with his family, and\r\nhis staff and cabinet.\u00a0 <\/span>This is a\r\npractical dimension for us to exercise ruling and reigning!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We continue today\u2019s discussion as we look at Jesus\u2019 prayer.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

John\r\n17:11-16<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>And\r\nnow I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee.\r\nHoly Father, keep through thine own name <\/span>(<\/span>onoma<\/span><\/i><\/b>)<\/span> those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are<\/i>.\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name <\/span>(<\/span>onoma<\/span><\/i><\/b>)<\/span>: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is\r\nlost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

This\r\nis an interesting revelation.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus\r\nmaintained the disciples existence through Father\u2019s nature, character and\r\nmakeup.\u00a0 <\/span>Now He is returning their keep\r\nto Father (because of his impending departure) and requesting that Father\r\ncontinue to maintain that supernatural existence in them so that they could\r\ncontinue His ministry and existence in the world.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world,\r\nthat they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word\r\n<\/span>(rhema)<\/span><\/i><\/b>; <\/span><\/b>and the world hath\r\nhated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I\r\npray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou\r\nshouldest keep themfrom the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not\r\nof the world<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Once\r\nagain, we see Jesus making it clear that He has revealed the full character of\r\nFather, that His disciples have become so much a part of Him and Father that\r\nthe world hates them in the same way that it hates Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

You\r\nunderstand, I\u2019m sure, that the hatred expressed towards Jesus was because the\r\nauthority of Heaven was continuously manifested in Him, and that scared the\r\nworld \u2014 and especially the religious Scribes and Pharisees.\u00a0 <\/span>The religious people of the day were supposed\r\nto be in tune with the Father, but Jesus had demonstrated again and again that\r\nthey knew absolutely nothing of the Father, that they were so bound by\r\ntradition that all they could spout was their empty traditions with no\r\nauthority to back up anything they said.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let\u2019s\r\nskip forward a bit in John\u2019s narrative of Jesus\u2019 prayer.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

John\r\n17:20-23<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall\r\nbelieve on me through their word; <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art<\/i> in me, and\r\nI in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that\r\nthou hast sent me.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now\r\nwe see the real revelation of Jesus\u2019 authority and where it came from.\u00a0 <\/span>Take another look!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2026.Thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee\u2026..<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Get\r\nit?\u00a0 <\/span>Father was in Jesus, and Jesus was\r\nin Father!\u00a0 <\/span>Everything that was Father\r\nwas in Jesus.\u00a0 <\/span>Let\u2019s not forget that the\r\nentire Creation sequence in Genesis 1 was spoken by Jesus!\u00a0 <\/span>(See Hebrews 1:2)\u00a0 <\/span>THAT, family, is a level of authority that\r\nfew people have ever known or experienced \u2014 and yet, it awaits us!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now\r\nwe get to the crux of Jesus\u2019 prayer.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they\r\nmay be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be\r\nmade perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and\r\nhast loved them, as thou hast loved me.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Look\r\nat it again!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2026.that they may be ONE, even as we are ONE: I in them, and thou\r\nin me, that they may be made <\/span>(teleios\u2014complete) <\/span><\/i><\/b>perfect in ONE;\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jesus\r\nmade it clear that He and Father were ONE.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>They were indivisible!\u00a0 <\/span>The\r\ncouldn\u2019t be separated from each other.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>What Father thought, Jesus thought.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>What Father said, Jesus said.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>What Father did, Jesus did.\u00a0 <\/span>The\r\ncomplete and total authority of the Trinity, the Godhead, was vested in\r\nJesus.\u00a0 <\/span>Do you remember what Jesus said?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

John\r\n8:29<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me\r\nalone; for I do always <\/span>(pantote\u2014at all times<\/i>) <\/span><\/b>those things that please him.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now\r\nJesus takes it the next step.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2026.I in them, and thou in me\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In\r\nthe same way that Jesus and Father were ONE \u2014 totally merged with each other \u2014\r\nnow He says, <\/span>\u201cI in them,\u201d<\/span>\r\nmeaning that the same merging of Father and Jesus could take place in us.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

THAT,\r\nfamily, is where our authority is truly vested and made functional!\u00a0 <\/span>This is no myth!\u00a0 <\/span>This isn\u2019t theoretical.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\r\nhave authority over all sickness, all disease, all infirmity, death \u2014 and\r\nthat\u2019s just the beginning!\u00a0 <\/span>Our authority\r\nis over the elements, the rain, the wind, storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc,\r\netc.\u00a0 <\/span>We have creative authority and\r\npower.\u00a0 <\/span>We have authority over governing\r\npowers and authorities in the earth.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In\r\nactual fact, we don\u2019t even begin to comprehend the nature and the depth of the\r\nauthority that has been vested in us as Sons & Daughters of God!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then\r\nwhy is it that we don\u2019t seem to experience or operate in all this authority and\r\npower?\u00a0 <\/span>Consider what the apostle Paul\r\nwrote to the Ekklesia in Philippi:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Philippians\r\n2:5-7<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Cause this manner of thinking \u2013 to exercise and discipline your\r\nmind \u2013 in the same way that Jesus did, who, being part of the Godhead, did not\r\nconsider it an inappropriate assumption, even illegal plunder, to be on par\r\nwith Father God, being like Him in every respect,<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

But now finding Himself in the nature and makeup of a natural\r\nman, humbled Himself, emptying Himself and neutralizing all of His God-powers\r\nand authority so that He could become an ordinary man (taking on the position\r\nof the fallen Adam) \u2013 even debasing Himself to the level of a servant; and in\r\nso doing submitted Himself to the curse of death, even the cursed death of the\r\nCross;\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>(RAC Translation\r\n& Amplification)\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then\r\nwe have a couple of statements that Solomon makes in the Proverbs:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Proverbs\r\n18:21<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Ruin, pestilence, disease and death (emotional, mental and\r\nphysical) and freshness, vitality, strength, restoration and the veritable\r\nbreath and life of God are in the power, means, direction and charge of the\r\ntongue; and they who understand, have revelation of and utilize it [as an\r\nintegral part of their existence] shall see, experience, and partake [as one\r\nfeasts at a table] of the rewards (or curses) and results thereof.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>(RAC Translation &\r\nAmplification)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Proverbs\r\n23:7<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>For as a person\r\nthinks, reasons, and meditates in the core of his being, so does he or she\r\nbecome<\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>(RAC Translation &\r\nAmplification)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

So,\r\nwhy is that?\u00a0 <\/span>How is it that the way we\r\nthink or reason becomes who or what we are?\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Watch!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Luke\r\n6:45<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth\r\nthat which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart\r\nbringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth\r\nspeaketh. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then\r\nthere\u2019s this one!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Matthew\r\n12:34-37<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good\r\nthings? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth\r\ngood things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil\r\nthings. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they\r\nshall give account thereof in the day of judgment. <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou\r\nshalt be condemned.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let\r\nme pick up again with verse 37 and amplify it for you.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Matthew\r\n12:37<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>It\u2019s because of the body of the words that are in you \u2014 the\r\nthoughts and intents of your heart \u2014 resulting in that which comes out of your\r\nmouth, that renders you just, free, innocent and righteous; by the same token\r\nthat body of words that occupies your thoughts and the intents of your heart\r\nand manifests itself in your speech will judge, condemn and pronounce you\r\nguilty.<\/span>(RAC\r\nTranslation & Amplification)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I\r\ndon\u2019t think it can be any clearer!\u00a0 <\/span>If we\r\nare going to function in the authority and rulership of the Lord Jesus Christ \u2014\r\nthe authority of the Kingdom of God \u2014 we really have to bring our minds and our\r\nthoughts into subjection to the Spirit of the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

How\r\nwe think governs how we speak.\u00a0 <\/span>How we\r\nspeak governs what takes place.\u00a0 <\/span>If our\r\nminds are clouded by fear, doubt and unbelief, that same fear, doubt and\r\nunbelief will prevent the words of our mouth from operating in the authority of\r\nGod.\u00a0 <\/span>I can\u2019t say it enough times!\u00a0 <\/span>There is no room for fear, doubt and unbelief\r\nin the minds of those believers who truly want to function as the Lord Jesus\r\nChrist functioned \u2014 and continues to function!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Consider\r\nthis!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jesus\r\nwas totally enveloped in Father!\u00a0 <\/span>Once He\r\nwas baptized in water, and Holy Spirit settled upon Him, there was a complete\r\ntransition that took Him from being a businessman, a carpenter, an ordinary man\r\nto the place where He could only think as Father thought!\u00a0 <\/span>There was no room whatever for doubt, fear or\r\nunbelief.\u00a0 <\/span>He merged and meshed Himself\r\ninto Father.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It\r\nwasn\u2019t that He hadn\u2019t known Father prior to this: He had!\u00a0 <\/span>Witness his discourse in the Temple at age 12\r\nwith the religious leaders of the day.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>They were confounded with His knowledge of the Word!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jesus\r\nhad always been aware of the destiny He had before Him to cancel out the curse\r\nthat had come upon mankind because of Adam & Eve\u2019s sin.\u00a0 <\/span>There is a huge difference between knowing\r\nthat there is a day in the future that you are going to have to accomplish\r\ncertain things with eternal consequence, and actually activating that purpose\r\nand doing everything necessary for it to be fully accomplished.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

That\u2019s\r\nwhere we are, family!\u00a0 <\/span>That\u2019s where we are!\u00a0 <\/span>All of us have lived our lives knowing that\r\nthere is a specific destiny that God has chosen for us.\u00a0 <\/span>That time has come!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\r\nlook around us at the filth, the corruption, the intense hatred against God\u2019s\r\nchosen, appointed and anointed leader for America.\u00a0 <\/span>I doubt if any of us could have imagined that\r\na day such as this could actually happen in our country, and yet here we\r\nare!\u00a0 <\/span>There is no better time than for\r\nGod\u2019s people to shed their doubt, fear and unbelief and take on fully the mind\r\nof Christ!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

There\r\nis no better time for us to exercise God\u2019s authority in our nation.\u00a0 <\/span>We do have authority over government.\u00a0 <\/span>That authority is a whole lot more than just\r\nvoting on election day.\u00a0 <\/span>We have the\r\nability to decree, to declare, to pray and intercede, and to watch the\r\nintervention of the Lord \u2014 THROUGH US \u2014 in this hour.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let\r\nme share one more amplified Scripture for you that addresses where we are in\r\nthis moment.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Romans\r\n8:5-8<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>For those whose minds and thoughts are oriented towards, and dwell\r\non, the desires and cravings of the flesh, along with the lusts that originate\r\nin the mind, are continually in pursuit of that which pleases one\u2019s rational\r\nthinking and satisfies fleshly desires; but those whose thoughts, whose\r\ndesires, and whose purposes are to measure up to the mandate of the Spirit will\r\nbe in constant pursuit of that which creates and generates the fulfillment of\r\nthe inner man and the purposes of God.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Because when one\u2019s thoughts, purpose, intent, and focus is on the\r\nthings that gratify the lusts of the flesh, it results in both spiritual and\r\nphysical death, but when a person allows the breath of Holy Spirit to blow upon\r\nand infuse their minds, their thoughts, and the intents of their heart, they\r\nare filled with the very life and light of Father God; and their beings are\r\npermeated with (and radiate) His peace, which passes all unredeemed and\r\nnatural, human understanding.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Thus, when one purposes in his thoughts and focus to do only those\r\nthings that gratify and please the lusts and desires of the flesh, they set\r\nthemselves in opposition to God; and, indeed, that way of thinking and\r\nreasoning is insubordinate and disobedient to the laws and principles of\r\nGod.\u00a0 <\/span>It is impossible for that kind of\r\nmindset to be anything but insubordinate and disobedient.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Hence, those whose mindsets, thinking and purposed intents are\r\nfocused on pleasing and gratifying fleshly lusts cannot at any time, and will\r\nnot under any circumstances please and satisfy the Lord God. <\/span>(RAC\r\nTranslation & Amplification)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

So\r\nfar, so good?\u00a0 <\/span>You all understand where\r\nwe are?\u00a0 <\/span>Excellent!\u00a0 <\/span>Let\u2019s shorten today\u2019s discussion and pick it\r\nup here next week.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
