Ye shall do no manner of work: <i>it shall be<\/i> a statute for ever\r\nthroughout your generations in all your dwellings.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:NewsweekGrotesqueEight;\r\ncolor:#C00000'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Thus,\r\non the tenth day of the seventh month, we see the Day of Atonement.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>There's a term that appears here that gets\r\nmissed in the English translation out of the Hebrew, the word, <b\r\nstyle='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'><span\r\nstyle='color:#002060'>dor<\/span><\/i><\/b> (which comes from the root, <b\r\nstyle='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'><span\r\nstyle='color:#002060'>dur<\/span><\/i><\/b>) and is translated\r\n\"generations.\"<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>In fact, the\r\nword more properly translates as: <\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\r\nfont-family:\"Antique\",\"serif\";color:#984806'>a revolution of time<\/span><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>The root word, <b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:\r\nnormal'><i style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'><span style='color:#002060'>dur<\/span><\/i><\/b>,\r\nmeans: <\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Antique\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#984806'>to revolve, to move continually in a circle<\/span><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>While the translation,\r\n\"generations,\" certainly applies, our English word loses the picture\r\nof revolving continually without end -- hence, <\/span><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:\r\nnormal'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Antique\",\"serif\";color:#984806'>time\r\nwithout end<\/span><\/b><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>!<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>I'll talk more about this momentarily.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>But\r\nwe're not done with the seventh month.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><u><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Leviticus 23:33-41,\r\nKJV<\/span><\/u><\/b><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>:<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;\r\nfont-family:\"Bernard MT Condensed\",\"serif\";color:#C00000'>And the LORD spake\r\nunto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, <u>The fifteenth\r\nday of this seventh month <i>shall be<\/i> the feast of tabernacles<\/u><i>for<\/i>\r\nseven days unto the LORD. Christ -- in fact, during the first couple of\r\ncenturies -- Christians kept these feasts.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>They understood that God's command to keep these feasts <b\r\nstyle='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'><span\r\nstyle='color:#002060'>'olam<\/span><\/i><\/b> -- <\/span><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:\r\nnormal'><u><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Antique\",\"serif\";\r\ncolor:#984806'>throughout the eternity of the eternities<\/span><\/u><\/b><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'> -- didn't just\r\napply to the Jews under the Mosaic Law, God's command applied to His people --\r\nand there was no question that as Christians, they had been grafted into God's\r\nselect company.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Sadly,\r\nChristians today have been stuck with the belief that to keep these feasts is\r\nto be stuck with and caught up in legalism.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>To be sure, we don't offer burnt offerings; WE are the burnt offering\r\nunto the Lord, having been purified by the blood of Jesus and by the Holy Ghost\r\nand fire!<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Now,\r\nI know many of you are looking cross-eyed at me and saying, \"What in the\r\nworld does any of this have to do with Christmas?\"<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>My first answer to you is, \"watch the\r\nDVD, <\/span><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'> <b\r\nstyle='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><i style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'><span\r\nstyle='color:#002060'><a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianbook.com\/star-bethlehem-dvd\/pd\/806763?kw=dvd%20star%20of%20bethlehem&mt=b&dv=c&event=PPCSRC&p=1018818&gclid=CPn6kcOBhcICFSVk7Aod7X4AXA)\">THE STAR OF answer is, \"consider the\r\nsignificance of the dates on the Hebrew calendar within the framework of Jesus'\r\nbirth, His death on the Cross, His resurrection, His command to the disciples\r\nto NOT go forth to teach or to preach \"until ye be endued with power from\r\non high\" -- and event which began with Pentecost -- and, finally, His\r\npromise that He would return to dwell with us again.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Consider,\r\nnow the following implications of these feasts, and how they relate.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>On\r\nthe night that Jesus was born, Luke records that shepherds were in the fields,\r\nwatching their flocks during the night.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>That is not a wintertime event in Israel.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Because Luke tells us that the angel of the\r\nLord came to tell the shepherds of the birth of the Messiah, and immediately\r\nfollowing the sky was filled with angelic hosts praising God and saying,\r\n\"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace, good will toward\r\nmen.\"<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>According\r\nto all that we can ascertain historically, and considering corresponding events\r\nin the heavens that are clearly recorded, this would have happened as early as\r\nthe fourth of September on our calendar (and the first day of the seventh month\r\non the Hebrew calendar, Tishrei), or as late as the 24th of September (also the\r\nfirst day of the seventh month on the Hebrew calendar).<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>This places Jesus' birth on the Feast of Trumpets.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'>Using\r\nthe phenomenal work that Stephen McEveety did with his astronomical research as\r\nit relates to the Star of Bethlehem that announced Jesus' birth, and the travel\r\ntime that it took the Magi to reach the young child after having seen the Star,\r\nwe know from the Greek text of Matthew 2:8 that by the time they reached Jesus,\r\nthat he was above two years of age.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book person.<span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><span\r\nstyle='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Bethlehem, we have\r\nevery reason to believe that they arrived at the home of Mary and Joseph to\r\nbestow their incredible and lavish gifts on this young \"King of\r\nKings\" on December 25th, if you correlate it to the Julian calendar. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:2.0pt;text-indent:.25in;line-height:\r\nnormal;mso-pagination:none'><span style='font-size:13.0pt;font-family:\"Book Antiqua\",\"serif\"'><span\r\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal the fact that so many Christians think Jesus\r\nlived His life in abject poverty, the Magi came to see Jesus \u2013 either as kings\r\nthemselves, or as representing kings from major eastern countries honoring Solomon, the Magi would\r\nhave brought nothing less to the One they were honoring as the King of Kings!!<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p class=MsoNormal
