\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Coming\r\nup higher is not a metaphor, or a figure of speech!\u00a0 <\/span>This is a real, living experience.\u00a0 <\/span>I don\u2019t want to go there today because it would\r\ntake too long for the time we have left, but in a couple of weeks, we will talk\r\nabout living in the presence of the Lord.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>That is something that Della and I have experienced in time past with\r\nunbelievable but tangible results.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Consider\r\nhow John experienced the kind of revelation that opened up whole new dimensions\r\nto him.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation\r\n1:1-6<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show\r\nunto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and\r\nsignified it<\/i> by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the\r\nword of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he\r\nsaw.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Blessed is<\/i> he that readeth, and they that hear the words\r\nof this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time\r\nis<\/i> at hand. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be<\/i>\r\nunto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come;\r\nand from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

And from Jesus Christ, who is<\/i> the faithful witness, and<\/i>\r\nthe first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto\r\nhim that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to\r\nhim be<\/i> glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

There\r\nis so much contained here it is almost hard to quantify it!\u00a0 <\/span>Before we begin to break it down, though,\r\nthere is one more accompanying statement that John makes which puts everything\r\nin perspective.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation\r\n1:19-11a<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span>I\r\nwas in the Spirit on the Lord\u2019s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a\r\ntrumpet, Saying, <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou\r\nseest, write in a book,\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

John\r\nopens up his narrative of this stupendous revelation by telling us that\r\neverything He is about to put to parchment is a revelation of the person, the\r\ncharacter, the essence of the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then\r\nhe says that if we read and heed the prophetic word he delivers, we will\r\nexperience real blessing!\u00a0 <\/span>Then he gives\r\nus greetings from the Throne.\u00a0 <\/span>In those\r\ngreetings alone are a revelation that there are seven spirits of God who dwell\r\nbefore the Throne and in the continual presence of the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Next,\r\nhe tells us that we have been made to be kings and priests unto the Lord Jesus\r\nChrist and to God, the Father \u2014 while at the same time he ascribes to them\r\ntotal dominion and glory forever.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

That\r\nmay take some time to register in your spirits, but it is critical to remember\r\nthat John said that he was \u201c<\/span>in the Spirit on\r\nthe Lord\u2019s Day.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The\r\nsignificance of this statement cannot be overstated!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

THIS\r\nis where real revelation take place!\u00a0\r\n<\/span>THIS is where we come with the Lord into spheres and dimensions that\r\ncannot be experienced in our natural, mundane, every ordinary day.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\npoint that I want to emphasize, however, is that WE CAN live every day in the\r\nSpirit.\u00a0 <\/span>It isn\u2019t difficult.\u00a0 <\/span>Once a person has been baptized in the Holy\r\nSpirit, there are a multitude of portals that await.\u00a0 <\/span>The catch is that we have to walk through\r\nthose portals. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Speaking\r\nin tongues, for example, is an important portal.\u00a0 <\/span>Why?\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Because we are speaking in the language of men and angels \u2014 languages\r\nthat we have never learned, and therefore, our natural minds do not\r\ncomprehend.\u00a0 <\/span>If your natural mind doesn\u2019t\r\ncomprehend what you are speaking, then what you are saying to the Lord cannot\r\nbe interfered with by the Enemy.\u00a0 <\/span>You are\r\ncommunicating directly with the Lord.\u00a0 <\/span>Because\r\nthis is a realm of the Spirit, the Lord is communicating back with you. \u00a0<\/span>What He is showing you heads past your natural\r\ncomprehension and goes directly to your spirit and your sub-conscious\r\nthinking.\u00a0 <\/span>There it resides until some\r\nevent or circumstance calls it forth to your consciousness, and you act\r\naccordingly in the Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

As\r\nwith all the portals we have in the realm of the Spirit, the more we utilize\r\nthem, the more seasoned we become with their use.\u00a0 <\/span>As that seasoning occurs, Holy Spirit begins\r\nto show us new portals that invite us to come up higher.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a progression.\u00a0 <\/span>It works this way for almost everyone.\u00a0 <\/span>There are exceptions, of course, but those\r\nexceptions are determined and orchestrated by Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Another\r\nportal available for entry to those who are baptized in the Holy Spirit is the\r\nportal into healing, not to mention the portal into raising the dead, casting\r\nout demons,, etc., etc.,\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>I should\r\ncaution you all.\u00a0 <\/span>Being baptized in the\r\nHoly Spirit is not the same as <\/span>\u201cbeing filled\r\nwith the Spirit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Baptism\r\nin the Holy Spirit is the gateway to being filled with the Spirit, but it isn\u2019t\r\nautomatic.\u00a0 <\/span>Being filled with the Spirit\r\nis something that requires us deliberately walking through the portals and\r\nliving in those realms.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let me take a quick break here and share a prophetic word. When\r\nI saw this prophecy from Nate Johnson and realized just how on target he was, I\r\nfelt to incorporate it into our sharing for this week.\u00a0 <\/span>His prophetic word follows below.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I<\/span>\r\nprophesy that the tide of the spirit-war that has been against you is turning,\r\nand you are about to come out of that place where 'word-warfare' has been your\r\nnorm. You are about to feel God shift you out of feeling helpless and\r\npowerless, and He will block the chatter that constantly affects your home and\r\nkeeps you in defeat. You will move out of survival and daily fighting for your\r\nlife, where you have been constantly attacked and plundered, and you will get\r\nthe upper hand.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

You\r\nare coming up higher in this season \u2013\u00a0above the assignments of\r\ncharacter assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail\r\nyour purpose.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nareas where you have faced years of critical words, judgments, accusations,\r\nlabeling and ownership, God is canceling their hold on your life. Where you\r\nhave had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed\r\n\u2013 leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy \u2013 God is, right now, bringing\r\nfreedom back.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Where\r\nyou have wanted to give up your purpose and hide, had doors blocked, answers\r\ndelayed, and your name dragged through the mud, God is justifying you and vindicating\r\nyou! Where your home was constantly under fire, your marriage targeted \u2013\r\ndealing with strife and restlessness \u2013 your kids were sick, and you'd never\r\nfelt rested or refreshed, God is clearing the air and bringing recompense to\r\nyou.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Right\r\nnow God is declaring a \"no access zone\" around you, and your enemies\r\nwill no longer have any entry point into your life. He is revealing hearts and\r\nshowing you the people who have been speaking against you to trip you up, usurp\r\nyou, and speak demonically into your life. He is giving you discernment to see\r\nthe areas where you have cast your pearls and given information and opened\r\ndoors to the wrong people and alignments.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Their\r\nwords were sent to shut down your prophetic words because the enemy could sense\r\nthe purity of your own voice and wanted to kill it in its infancy, but the\r\nwords are lifting, and the muzzles and silence that have shrouded you are\r\ncoming off. The control, manipulation and \"queen bee syndrome\" that\r\nhas kept you on the sidelines is being dealt with. God is shattering their\r\ninsecure words and jealousy and restoring what was lost, delayed and held back.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Healing\r\nis coming to you where the wounds have been so deep that you haven't been able\r\nto see beyond them.\u00a0But the oil is being poured over you to restore the\r\nyears that the locust ate and give you back your passion.<\/b>\u00a0This is\r\nwhere you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a\r\ncall to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your kingdom,\r\nwithout the restraints you have been used to.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

This\r\nis where you leave the battlefield behind, shake off the dust and leave the\r\nlifestyle of 'bloodied battle' and survival behind.\u00a0This is where you\r\nleave your victim mentality and your tattered cloak in the dust, and watch God\r\nsettle the score that you have been trying to do on your own.<\/b>\u00a0This is\r\nwhere you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different\r\nplace, from victory, from peace, and from rest.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

You\r\nhave been lost in the storm, fighting the wrong fight, fighting fire with fire,\r\nbut now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract\r\nyou and you will disengage.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now\r\nwatch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and\r\nseats you with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where\r\nyou leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n
\r\nWatch now as God takes you above the snake-line where nothing can bite you\r\nand poison you anymore.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In\r\nthe days to come, you will no longer be affected by the warfare you once faced;\r\nit will no longer even be on your radar.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

You\r\nwill know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety\r\nand protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison\r\nyou were in. This is your moment of freedom where the Lord is changing your\r\naddress, showing you that peace is your birthright, victory is your norm and\r\nthat your legacy doesn't have to be one of constant hardship.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Even\r\nright now, the Holy Spirit is healing you, severing every tie and emancipating\r\nyou from every word curse and demonic torment that has shut you down and kept\r\nyou in a rut.\u00a0I command you to be FREE now, in Jesus' name!<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Many\r\nof you will feel the fire of God over your body; some of you will feel peace,\r\nsome will feel like oil is flooding over your mind, but many of you will know\r\nthat there has been a shift. Something has lifted. As word assignments lift,\r\ndoors will open, healing will come to bodies, and clarity will be restored.\r\nThis is your 'deliverance from warfare' moment!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Forgive\r\nthose that have spoken unkind words over you. Bless those who persecute you.\r\nStay out of chatter and talking about people. Live a worshipful lifestyle, and\r\na non-reactionary lifestyle to the enemy and his schemes. Take communion often\r\n\u2013 the Blood speaks a better word! Put your war boots on and get ready to fight\r\nback! Refuse to lay down; get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you.\r\nRemember where you are seated and live from that place.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I\r\nprophesy that you are coming up higher in Jesus' name!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"On the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of\r\nAdar, the edict commanded by the king was to be carried out. On this day the\r\nenemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but now the tables were turned\r\nand the Jews got the upper hand over those who hated them.\" <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

\r\n(Esther\r\n9:1)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I\r\nwas amazed at the timing of this word, coming on the heels of what I heard Holy\r\nSpirit speak to me.\u00a0 <\/span>There have been\r\nother like prophetic words being delivered by other very reputable prophets\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>It is clear that this is indeed exactly what\r\nthe Lord wants from His people.\u00a0 <\/span>This is\r\nnot a word to a select few believers.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>The Lord is issuing this as a call for everyone.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

For\r\nsome, depending on the current level of their maturity or seasoning in God,\r\ncoming up higher may well be a call to begin doing the works that Jesus\r\ndid.\u00a0 <\/span>For those of us who have become\r\nwell-seasoned in the Spirit and the Word, this is a call to dimensions we\u2019ve\r\nonly seen at a distance.\u00a0 <\/span>It is extremely\r\ncritical that we respond accordingly.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Everyone\u2019s first question is \u201chow?\u201d\u00a0\r\n<\/span>This is where we say to the Lord, \u201cFather, teach us!\u00a0 <\/span>Show us what to do first!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

OK.\u00a0 <\/span>Let me take you to the experience that John\r\nhad when the Lord commanded him to <\/span>\u201ccome\r\nup hither.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The\r\nLord makes it clear that the purpose of calling him to come up higher was to\r\nshow him <\/span>\u201cthings to come.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>In other words, the call\r\nwas to a dimension that John had not seen or lived in.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation\r\n4:1-7<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>After this I looked, and, behold, a door was<\/i> opened in\r\nheaven: and the first voice which I heard was<\/i> as it were of a trumpet\r\ntalking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which\r\nmust be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne\r\nwas set in heaven, and one<\/i> sat on the throne.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine\r\nstone: and there was<\/i> a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like\r\nunto an emerald. And round about the throne were<\/i> four and twenty seats:\r\nand upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white\r\nraiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and\r\nvoices: and there were<\/i> seven lamps of fire burning before the throne,\r\nwhich are the seven Spirits of God. And before the throne there was<\/i> a\r\nsea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about\r\nthe throne, were<\/i> four beasts full of eyes before and behind. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

<\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And the first beast was<\/i> like a lion, and the second beast\r\nlike a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was<\/i>\r\nlike a flying eagle<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Notice\r\nthat the way this invitation comes is that John sees <\/span>\u201ca door opened in heaven.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Interestingly, the Greek word here that gets\r\ntranslated as \u201cdoor\u201d is the word, thura<\/span><\/i><\/b>.\u00a0 <\/span>The literal translation of this word is\r\n\u201cportal.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Notice,\r\nalso, that John describes his experience like this: <\/span>\u201cAnd immediately I was in the Spirit.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>One of the things I have experienced\r\nthroughout my roughly 75 years of walking with the Lord is that there is no\r\nsubstitute for \u201cbeing in the spirit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

This\r\nis where revelation takes place.\u00a0 <\/span>This is\r\nwhere our spirits are open to receive from Holy Spirit, to receive things we\r\nwon\u2019t otherwise have access to.\u00a0 <\/span>Thus,\r\nwhen we hear the call to \u201ccome up higher,\u201d that call is always going to take\r\nplace \u201cin the spirit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Whether\r\nwe get into more depth in this topic today or not remains to be seen, but I\r\nwill remind you that Jesus said to the woman at the well, <\/span>\u201cGod is a spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in\r\nspirit and in truth.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

That\r\nmay be a very simple way of expressing our connection to the Lord, but it goes\r\nbeyond normal human logic.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\n\u00a0 <\/span>We are not\r\nprogrammed by our society to think in terms of \u201cSpirit.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Everything around us teaches us to respond \u2014\r\nreact is more like it \u2014 to the things that go one around us in human,\r\nemotional, five-senses-thinking ways.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>None of that is based in the Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n
