\r\n
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>During\r\nthe last three weeks or so,<\/span><\/b> <\/span>Della has been\r\nexperiencing increasing pain in her jaw from what turns out to be an abscessed\r\ntooth. She\u2019s been having dental work done, and our dentist, Dr. James Stevens,\r\nhas been giving her antibiotics to bring down the infection. The antibiotics\r\nhave not worked adequately and yesterday, with the pain at an absolute\r\ncrescendo, Jim opened it up and irrigated the area within the tooth.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Della said that when\r\nthe infection<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/b>began to flush out it\r\nsmelled worse than the sewer. The stuff coming out of her mouth was incredibly\r\nrank. When the irrigation procedure was finished it had made a huge difference\r\nin her pain level. There\u2019s still more work to be done (and expected to be completed\r\nover the next few weeks), but the reason I\u2019m sharing this is because of\r\nsomething the Holy Spirit spoke to Della as she experienced the smell of the\r\npoison coming out of her mouth.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cThis\r\nis a picture of a situation that<\/span> <\/span>exists in the Body of Christ right\r\nnow,\u201d Della heard the Holy Spirit say.\u201cSo many Christians have death in their\r\nmouth. The words that they speak towards one another, or towards leaders\r\nthroughout the Body with whom they<\/span> <\/span>disagree, or towards those who embrace\r\ndoctrines they either don\u2019t understand or feel are heretical, are nothing short\r\nof excrement in my ears and in my sight. They are a stench to me!\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>No\r\nkidding! There are fistfuls of<\/span>\r\n<\/span>believers\r\nwho think nothing of blasting this movement or that movement, speaking all\r\nmanner of evil against leaders and preachers with whom they disagree. Somehow\r\nthey\u2019ve anointed themselves to be the arbiters of what truth is and what heresy\r\nis. All you have to do is go into any search engine online and type in the name\r\nof some prominent evangelist, prophet or leader and you wind up getting links\r\nto scores of posts which delight in roasting that person.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Just\r\nas an example, in my last Coffee Break<\/span> <\/span>I mentioned the fact that we have\r\npartnered with Kenneth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis<\/span>\r\n(among others) in their ministry efforts over the past few years. From some of\r\nthe unbelievably hateful responses I received, you\u2019d have thought we were\r\npartnering with Satan. The word that came to Della in that dental chair could\r\nnot have been more accurate or timelier (and she was totally unaware at the\r\ntime of the email responses I\u2019d been receiving).The Holy Spirit finished His\r\nWord to Della with the following:<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cJust\r\nas you have needed your mouth to be flushed and irrigated in order to be\r\ncleaned of the infection and poison,<\/span> <\/span>so does the Body of Christ also need\r\nits mouth flushed and irrigated. The words that come forth out of the mouths of\r\nChristians must reflect the life, the health, the healing and the wholeness\r\nthat is in Christ Jesus and not the hate and venom that comes from the Accuser\r\nof the Brethren. That infection and contamination can never be a part of the\r\nspeech of My people if they expect to be the solution to the sin, sickness and\r\ndeath in the world.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>That\r\nword could not have been<\/span>\r\n<\/span>more\r\ngraphic! It was a perfect illustration. Let me share a quick personal\r\nexperience for clarity and we\u2019ll move on.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>I\r\nwas just thinking back to an experience<\/span> <\/span>Della and I had some years ago when the\r\nLord first began to emphasize to us the need to alter the way we speak of other\r\nbelievers and leaders in the Body of Christ \u2013 and especially those with whom we\r\nvehemently disagree. Della happened to be traveling in the southeast doing her\r\njewelry shows. In a hotel one night listening to a preacher on TV for just a\r\nfew minutes \u2013 one with whom we often disagreed \u2013 the Lord said to her, \u201cI want\r\nyou to sow a $1,000 seed into that ministry.\u201dShe immediately began to argue\r\nwith the Lord about it, but He made it abundantly clear that we were to do\r\nthis.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>She\r\ncalled me on the phone and told me what the<\/span> <\/span>Lord was saying and I began to sputter,\r\n\u201cBut, but, but \u2026 this guy isn\u2019t \u2026\u201d and I never got to finish what I wanted to\r\nsay. I began arguing with the Lord that this particular preacher wasn\u2019t a man\r\nof integrity when it came to finances. Wow! Did I ever feel His disapproval! He\r\nsimply said to me, \u201cI trust him, and that\u2019s all that matters.\u201dYikes! Got the\r\nmessage!!Brother, did I ever!<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>We\r\nsowed<\/span> that seed as soon as it was possible. The Lord\r\nhonored our obedience and multiplied it back to us many times over. He also\r\ntaught us to shut up when it came to speaking out against preachers with whom\r\nwe had issues and leave the judging to Him. You see, we judge by outward\r\nappearances, by what we hear and see and think<\/b> we know; but the Lord\r\njudges them by their heart, by their obedience to Him and what He has commanded\r\nthem specifically. That\u2019s what counts in His sight.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>We\r\ndon\u2019t get a vote in the matter,<\/span>\r\n<\/span>and\r\nwe don\u2019t get to decide whether folks are pleasing the Lord or not. We don\u2019t get\r\nto criticize<\/span> <\/span>them.\r\nThat\u2019s not our privilege. God frequently calls flawed men and women to His\r\nservice. He is the one who qualifies and justifies those whom He calls. What we\r\ndo get to do \u2013 and are so commanded \u2013 is to pray for them and intercede on\r\ntheir behalf.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Della\u2019s\r\nexperience was a fresh reminder<\/span>\r\n<\/span>that\r\nthe Body of Christ needs to be warned on this subject. Otherwise they are\r\ntouching the anointing (and the anointed) of the Lord \u2013 and He has issued\r\nstrong warnings against those who do! There are personal consequences folks\r\ndon\u2019t even want to think about.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>The\r\nway the book of Jeremiah<\/span>\r\n<\/span>opens\r\nup makes it apparent that Jeremiah was pretty young when the Lord first called\r\nhim to be a prophet. God\u2019s instruction to him to<\/span> <\/span>\u201cSay not<\/span>, I am a child: for thou shalt<\/span> go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command\r\nthee thou shalt<\/span> speak\u201d<\/span><\/i> <\/span>was of particular interest to me\r\nbecause of my earlier experiences with angels, and the fact that Jesus had\r\nappeared to me at age seven and called me.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>When\r\nhe was first introduced to me,<\/span>\r\n<\/span>he\r\nwasn\u2019t anything like I had envisioned. My mental image of Jeremiah stemmed from\r\nhis being frail and pretty thin following his having been pulled from the mire\r\nin the dungeon in the days of the king, Zedekiah, where he was close to\r\nstarving to death. You wouldn\u2019t call him muscular, but he sure was fit and in\r\ngreat physical condition. My guess was that he stood roughly 5\u201910\u201d in height.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>My\r\nquestions to Jeremiah began with the<\/span> <\/span>subject of his very youthful call by\r\nthe Lord.\u201cYou were obviously surprised when you heard the Lord call you. Did\r\nyou see Him? Did He appear to you in person? Or did you just hear His voice in\r\nyour being?\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cI\r\nwas about your age,\u201d he answered.\u201cIn those days, people didn\u2019t see angels very\r\noften but God has a way of speaking into you so clearly that no one could ever\r\nmistake Him for anyone else. That\u2019s the way I heard Him.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cYou\r\nare basically saying the same thing that<\/span> <\/span>Abraham said to me when I asked him a\r\nsimilar question,\u201d I responded.\u201cHis answer to me was that \u2018when you\u2019ve heard\r\nthe voice of God, there is no other voice.\u2019\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cThat\u2019s\r\nright,\u201d he said, nodding his head.\u201cThere are many voices in the world, and many\r\nsounds, but when a person hears the voice of God, it isn\u2019t a voice anyone \u2013\r\nSatan included \u2013 can counterfeit. There is absolute authority when He speaks. There\r\nis a sound to His voice unlike any other. There is complete peace. Once you\u2019ve\r\nheard Him no one will ever convince you otherwise.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cI\u2019m\r\nsure Satan would like to copy Him as<\/span> <\/span>much as possible, but there is no peace\r\nin his voice \u2013 no peace, whatever! And, his voice lacks authority. Deception is\r\nhis major tactic, but if you are paying attention to the sound of his voice,\r\nyou quickly realize who is speaking.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cWhen\r\nthe Lord first began to give you His<\/span> <\/span>Word to deliver to the nation and to\r\nthe kings, you were still young like me, weren\u2019t you?\u201d I asked.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cYes.\r\nAnd that was why He told me<\/span>\r\n<\/span>that\r\nI would go to whomever He sent me, and that I was to speak boldly whatever He\r\ninstructed. When I first went into the streets of Jerusalem to declare His\r\nWord, He used my young age as an illustration of what He was saying to the\r\nnation. My size and age became a visible sign to them of His Word.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Jeremiah\r\ncontinued.\u201cYou, my young<\/span>\r\n<\/span>friend,\r\nare being prepared and groomed by the Lord to deliver His Word. Though that day\r\nis not yet, there is a time appointed for you by Father God to deliver His Word\r\nto the nation, and to many leaders. A day will come when you will speak to\r\nkings, to governors, to leaders in all walks of life and at every level of\r\nsociety. God will have prepared His Word in you in such a way that you will be\r\nHis Word.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Jeremiah\u2019s\r\nstatement was something<\/span>\r\n<\/span>that\r\nwould become embedded in the core of my being, and a Word that Holy Spirit\r\nwould later confirm again and again.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>I\r\nam reminded of how in the years<\/span>\r\n<\/span>since\r\nthat Word would be executed in me.My<\/span> first experience\r\ncame when I was given the opportunity to lay hands on the native King of the\r\nSolomon Islands. That followed a few years later when I was sent to deliver a\r\nprophetic word to the governor of Alaska \u2013 a word, incidentally, which the\r\ngovernor received and which altered the course of affairs for the whole state\r\nas well as shaking up Alaska\u2019s political world. Not long thereafter I was\r\ninstructed to pour oil upon and commission a young woman to become the City\r\nManager in place of a corrupt predecessor in Barrow, Alaska. That took place\r\nseven months before the corrupt manager was indicted and removed from office.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>And\r\nthose are but a few of the events<\/span> <\/span>that have followed as the Word of the\r\nLord has been being built and established in me. And it continues to this day.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Throughout\r\nthe years I\u2019ve heard<\/span>\r\n<\/span>Jeremiah\r\noften referred to as \u201cthe weeping prophet.\u201dThat certainly was not the way that\r\nhe came across to me in our conversation, although I could perhaps get a sense\r\nof why some folks would think that as we continued talking.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cOne\r\nof the things that is true<\/span>\r\n<\/span>today\r\nin your world, as much as it was in my time, is the fact that the priests and\r\nprophets (you don\u2019t call them that \u2013 you use over-generalized terms like\r\n\u201cpastor\u201d or \u201cevangelist\u201d or \u201cmissionary\u201d) of your age fall into the same traps\r\nthat they did in my day. As the Word of the Lord is being revealed throughout\r\nthe years and truths lost throughout the centuries are being restored to God\u2019s\r\npeople, those in places of leadership tend to fear what they perceive as change\r\nor alteration to what they\u2019ve preached.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cI\u2019m\r\nsure that you\u2019ve heard the<\/span>\r\n<\/span>phrase\r\n\u201ccomfortable gospel\u201d or \u201ccomfort zone\u201d growing up in church. If you remember\r\nsome of the prophecies the Lord gave to me concerning Israel\u2019s spiritual\r\nleaders, you\u2019ll remember this:<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cFor from the least of\r\nthem even<\/span><\/i> <\/span>unto the greatest of\r\nthem every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the\r\npriest every one dealeth<\/span> falsely. They have healed\r\nalso the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when\r\nthere is no peace.\u201d<\/span><\/i>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cThe\r\ncovetousness spoken of by the<\/span>\r\n<\/span>Lord\r\nisn\u2019t necessarily referring to money or possessions. It applies to the\r\npositions of authority and influence. When these \u201ccovetous\u201d leaders hear\r\nsomething that could take away from their places of power, they tend to quiet\r\nthe mouths of those who would speak or share something contrary to their\r\ntraditional and often \u201ccomfortable\u201d doctrines \u2013 teachings that won\u2019t disturb\r\nthe status quo and cause people to begin seeking after something besides that\r\nwhich they offer.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Jeremiah\r\ncontinued, \u201cYou, my young<\/span>\r\n<\/span>friend,\r\nare going to encounter this in the years to come. The Lord will reveal things\r\nto you that you must share with God\u2019s people \u2013 truths that have not been taught\r\nor emphasized, and truths that are critical to their spiritual growth and\r\nunderstanding of their relationship to Him. You will encounter opposition from\r\nmany leaders and people regarded as \u201celders.\u201dJust as God said to me,<\/span> <\/span>\u2018Be not afraid of their faces, for I am with\r\nthee to deliver thee,<\/span><\/i>\u2019 I\u2019m saying the same thing to you. Do\r\nnot \u2013 under any circumstances \u2013 allow the intimidation of those in high places\r\nto alter or influence the Word that Father God gives you to speak. Deliver it\r\nexactly as He says whether people like it or not.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>It\r\nwas a sobering but critically important<\/span> <\/span>message for me to consider and hang on\r\nto. To some of those of you who read this it may seem like a pretty stern\r\nmessage to give to someone not yet ten years of age, but it was a strong Word\r\nfrom the Lord that was permanently etched in my spirit from that moment on. I\r\nhad good reason to remember that instruction many years later when I stood\r\nbefore a group of pastors and church leaders whom I loved and respected and\r\nrebuked them with Jeremiah\u2019s words for not teaching and preaching the truth of\r\nthe message of deliverance from evil spirits.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>(They\r\nhad been preaching that once a<\/span>\r\n<\/span>person\r\nis \u2018saved\u2019 he is automatically free from evil spirits. There is nothing\r\nautomatic about it. We\u2019ve been given the authority as believers to kick out\r\ndemons, but if we don\u2019t exercise that authority we\u2019ll never be completely\r\nfree!)<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>True\r\nto the Word of the Lord that came<\/span> <\/span>to Jeremiah, these leaders fought\r\nagainst me and ordered that I was not to even enter any of their churches. Also\r\ntrue to the Word of the Lord, He was with me to deliver me and some years\r\nlater, the senior pastor in this group repented and asked for my forgiveness. Every\r\none of their churches ultimately began preaching the message of deliverance.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>My\r\nconversation with Jeremiah ended on the subject that had colored my imagination\r\nof him as frail and weak.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cYou\r\nremember,\u201d I queried, \u201chow during<\/span> <\/span>the reign of Zedekiah some of the\r\ncaptains and elders of the people got the king\u2019s permission to throw you into\r\nprison, and then into a muddy pit to let you die? You were there long enough\r\nthat your body became so weak and frail they finally had to haul you out with\r\ndirty old rags because your flesh would have ripped apart had they used coarse ropes.Did<\/span> you ever feel like the Lord had gone back on His\r\nWord to deliver you during the days or weeks you struggled to stay alive?\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cNever,\u201d\r\nhe responded.\u201cIt never<\/span>\r\n<\/span>crossed\r\nmy mind. I knew this was just part of my journey as a prophet to a rebellious\r\nnation. The nation as a large part had rejected God\u2019s leadership and had gone\r\nchasing after false gods that would allow them to live as they pleased. Sure,\r\nthere were many people who followed after the Law of Moses and the traditions\r\nof the Elders but as Isaiah before me had mourned, God was sick of their burnt\r\nofferings and sacrifices. They had become meaningless traditions \u2013 religious\r\npractices without life or significance.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cYou\r\ncan expect persecution,<\/span>\r\n<\/span>imprisonment,\r\nslander, false accusations and terrible treatment at the hands of those who\r\nreject the Word of the Lord \u2013 especially when they are afraid of the people\r\nthey serve and fear for the loss of their status and position.God<\/span>\r\nhad never failed to deliver me in the past. I had no reason to think He was\r\nsuddenly going to forsake His promises me.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cHow\r\ndid you cope with the long darkness and the ick<\/span> of\r\nthe mud for so long?\u201d I asked.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>\u201cYou\r\ncan\u2019t even think about it,\u201d<\/span>\r\n<\/span>he\r\nanswered.\u201cIf you do you\u2019ll be constantly in torment. The answer to that kind of\r\npredicament is to focus on the Lord and to remember what His promises are to\r\nyou. Another thing you can do \u2013 and should do \u2013 is to sing praises to the Lord.\r\nKeep your focus on Him no matter how long it takes. He will<\/b> deliver you\r\nas He has promised.\u201d<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Jeremiah\u2019s\r\ncounsel to me was<\/span>\r\n<\/span>etched\r\nindelibly in my spirit and in my subconscious. Throughout all the years of\r\nministry since, his words and his instruction have been triggered in my memory\r\nwhenever events have turned against me because of the Word of the Lord.<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Two\r\nprophets remained yet for me<\/span>\r\n<\/span>to\r\nvisit, and I was anxious to meet them. My conversations with Isaiah and\r\nJeremiah had been both uplifting and encouraging \u2013 really important, in fact \u2013\r\nand I was excited to have the opportunity to talk to Ezekiel and Daniel.<\/span>

\r\n
\r\n<\/span>Next:\r\nHEAVEN XIII: Ezekiel.<\/span>

\r\n<\/span>A shaking is going on the midst of\r\nGod\u2019s<\/span><\/i> <\/span>people! Jesus is coming back for a\r\nBride without spot or wrinkle. It is imperative that we as His people yield to\r\nthe fire of the Holy Spirit and the purification processes He is bringing us\r\nto. The fire is not for our destruction, it is to get rid of the bondages that\r\nkeep us from reaching His destiny for us!<\/span><\/i>
