ANOTHER COFFEE BREAK: DREAMS FROM THE LORD, Special Edition<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Good\r\nMorning, y\u2019all! Up and at \u2018em<\/span>, yet?
\r\n
\r\n<\/span><\/b>I\u2019m\r\njust getting my coffee started. yAWN<\/span>!! Trying to wake\r\nup this morning.<\/span> Della\r\nis off to a Ladies\u2019 Retreat at Banff Springs, Alberta, so I\u2019m on my own.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

If you haven\u2019t\r\nhad your cup of Java yet this morning, hang on, this French Press will be ready\r\nin a couple of minutes. Grab a chair and have a seat.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\u2019re less\r\nthan 48 hours away from the elections as I write this, and I need to share with\r\nyou a dream that came to me a few days ago. This is out of sequence in my dream\r\nsharing. I have already completed Dreams from the Lord IV, but because of the\r\nnature and urgency of this new dream I felt the necessity of getting this out\r\nto you for your prayerful consideration.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In his letter\r\nto the Romans, Paul makes a remarkable statement concerning Abraham that we\r\ntend to forget or overlook.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Romans\r\n4:17:<\/span><\/b> (As it is\r\nwritten, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he\r\nbelieved, even God, who quickeneth<\/span> the dead, and calleth<\/span> those things which be not as though they were<\/b>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Isaiah\r\n46:9-10:<\/span><\/b> Remember\r\nthe former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and\r\nthere is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from\r\nancient times the things that are not yet done<\/b>, saying, My counsel shall\r\nstand, and I will do all my pleasure:<\/span><\/i><\/p>\r\n\r\n

This may be a\r\nstretch for some folks, but I believe that dreams are given because the Lord is\r\ngiving us the opportunity to declare the end from the beginning and call those\r\nthings that are not as though they were. Why? What was it that Jesus instructed\r\nin what we often refer to as \u201cThe Lord\u2019s Prayer\u201d?<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Matthew\r\n6:9-10:<\/span> After this\r\nmanner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.\r\nThy kingdom come. Thy<\/span> will be done in earth, as it\r\nis in heaven<\/b>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\r\n\r\n

When the Lord\r\ngives us dreams, I believe that He shows us His heart\u2019s desire. I believe that\r\nHe shows us those things which are His will and purpose in Heaven, giving us\r\nboth the opportunity and responsibility to call them into being here on earth.\r\nThat said, consider this dream.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In this dream,\r\nthe elections were over, and a few days had passed. I was at the White House\r\nhaving a conversation with Barack Obama. The conservative Republicans had swept\r\nthe elections taking both the House and Senate majorities away from the\r\nDemocrats. It was an electoral sweep of historic proportions and historic\r\nconsequences.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Obama was\r\nvisibly shaken. Somehow he had never believed that this kind of changeover in\r\npower could or would happen. The fact that his policies and agenda were so\r\nthoroughly repudiated by the voting public literally stopped him in his tracks.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

It was a\r\ngolden opportunity for me to share with him the difference between the\r\nwishy-washy, \u201cinclusive\u201d religion he had called \u201cChristianity\u201d and a true\r\nrelationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He hung his head in his hands and\r\ncovered his eyes. I shared with him the fact that literally tens of thousands\r\nof Christians had been praying \u2013 many of them fasting as well \u2013 for a Great\r\nAwakening in this nation not unlike the one that took place in the 1700\u2019s and\r\n1800\u2019s beginning with Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

America was\r\nborn as a nation during that first Great Awakening, with most of our early\r\npresidents having a genuine faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and\r\nleading this nation in a Godly way.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Last year\r\nduring the Prayer Mountain gathering in Branson, Missouri, the Lord spoke to Billye<\/span> Brim and told her that it was not a change of\r\npolitical parties or leaders that would bring change to this nation \u2013 righteous\r\nchange, that is. It would only come with a new and fresh awakening in the\r\nhearts of people to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

To that end we\r\nhave been praying, as have literally hundreds of thousands of Christians across\r\nthis nation, and around the world. The electoral sea change taking place in\r\nthis nation is the result of those prayers and the awakening that has been\r\ntaking place.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

America was\r\nfounded for the purpose of providing a haven for Christians who could teach,\r\npreach and spread the Gospel of the Kingdom around the world with complete\r\nfreedom, and the backing of a nation that would stand behind them. That purpose\r\nis instilled in virtually every state constitution. The First Amendment to our\r\nConstitution was designed to keep the government from infringing upon our\r\nChristian liberties in any way.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

As I shared in\r\nthe dream with Barack Obama, he began to shake and tremble as the Holy Spirit\r\nbrought deep conviction to him, and an awakening to who Jesus Christ really is.\r\nRevelation began to pour into his being, and for the first time in his life\r\nthere was a recognition and realization of the Truth of the Gospel. With that\r\nrevelation came an understanding of how he had been duped throughout his life\r\nand misled into believing an agenda that was \u2013 in reality \u2013 opposed to\r\neverything Jesus Christ preached and provided.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

He dropped to\r\nhis knees on the floor and began to weep almost uncontrollably as the Spirit of\r\nthe Lord washed over his being. Finally he got to his feet. He was quiet for a\r\nmoment, and then said, \u201cWhen I ran for the presidency, I campaigned on a\r\nplatform of change for this nation. The \u201cchange\u201d I\u2019ve been trying to push has\r\nbeen wrong. Now we will see some real change as I move to right some terrible\r\nwrongs I\u2019ve done to this nation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I said to him,\r\n\u201cMr. President, you are certainly aware of the fact that there are a number of lawsuits\r\nmaking their way through the courts challenging your right to sit as president\r\nbecause of your not being born in the U.S.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

He answered\r\nme, \u201cYes, I know that. If those lawsuits are heard by the Supreme Court, I will\r\nlose and be forced from office. I may not have a long time, but what time I do\r\nhave I intend to use for good.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Again I said\r\nto him, \u201cMr. President, this nation needs to hear from you. They need to hear\r\nyour confession and your conviction that Jesus Christ is indeed Lord of your\r\nlife \u2013 and furthermore, that He is Lord of America!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

He nodded his\r\nhead and replied, \u201cYou\u2019re right. There is nothing more powerful than an honest\r\nand forthright confession.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I awoke from\r\nthe dream as Barack Obama prepared to make his announcement, realizing that the\r\nLord had shown me something that can be! This is not an illusion. It is not\r\nsimply a flight of fancy. This is a change that can take place in this nation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We have been\r\npraying daily for change \u2013 righteous change. We have been praying daily that\r\nthe Holy Spirit would cause the removal of all those from office who follow\r\ntheir own agenda instead of listening to the Lord, and replace them with people\r\nwho would lead and govern in righteousness. What better change than to have\r\nthose in power \u2013 such as the president himself \u2013 publicly repent and confess\r\nJesus Christ as the head of this nation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

It hasn\u2019t\r\nhappened yet. There are others within the prophetic community who have seen\r\nthis kind of change taking place \u2013 and with Barack Obama! This can happen,\r\nfolks! But it can\u2019t and won\u2019t happen unless the people of God pray and\r\nintercede as never before.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

More than\r\never, we need to assemble as the people of God and cry out for this kind of\r\nchange. In the remaining days and hours before the elections take place (and\r\nmany folks have already voted early) I urge you to join us in prayer and\r\nintercession for this nation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Beyond that, I\r\nurge you to set aside any prejudice or bias or ill feeling you may have towards\r\nBarack Obama because of the choices and agenda he has pushed forward and\r\nintercede before God for an awakening to take place in him. This man is in\r\ntrouble, people, and he needs the Lord in his life. He needs the reality of\r\nrelationship with Jesus Christ instead of the dead religion that has been\r\nfoisted off on him since his childhood.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

He needs an\r\nawakening to the purposes of God \u2013 not only for himself and his family, but for\r\nthis nation. If that awakening takes place, we will have a harvest of souls\r\nlike you can\u2019t imagine!<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Buckle your\r\nseatbelts!<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Holy Spirit is moving and operating in\r\nthis day and age in non-traditional ways; and any attempts we make to box Him\r\nin or try to second-guess Him are doomed to failure. Those who are willing to\r\nhear what He has to say and are ready to \u201coperate outside the box\u201d will see and\r\nexperience the Glory of the Lord!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\r\n\r\n
