And solutions to you this post-Thanksgiving day!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

OK.\u00a0 Sure.\u00a0 Salutations, too.<\/span>\u00a0\r\nUmmm<\/span>....Hi, there!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Case you hadn't noticed, the coffee is filling up the room\r\nwith that wonderful aroma.\u00a0 Better<\/span> pour yourself\r\na cup before we start.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Brother!\u00a0 What a Thanksgiving holiday we had!\u00a0\r\nCounting Della's Mom, her oldest brother, Denny, and her sister Debbie, and a\r\npassel of our kids and grandkids, nieces and nephews, we had 40 people for\r\nThanksgiving dinner. Some of these kids had never met each other before, so it\r\nwas something in the way of a family reunion.\u00a0 If all of our kids and\r\ngrandkids had made it, we'd have had something close to 60 people at the table\r\n(Uhhh<\/span>, make that table(s), and if you add all the\r\nnieces and nephews to the bunch......I don't think I can count that high. (Hehehehehe<\/span>.....)\u00a0 As it was, we had to use the church\r\nbasement to seat everyone and have enough room for the tables that held all the\r\nfood.\u00a0 Even<\/span> with forty people at the table, we\r\nhad enough food left over to feed an army.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Reckon some of you all know what that's like.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We lost a few people the other day with my comment about\r\nfolks committing adultery when they work for a living.\u00a0 Guess I must have\r\nhit a nerve.\u00a0 Let's see if I can clarify\u00a0my statements a little more.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let's go back and revisit the curse that came upon the\r\nearth following Adam's sin.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"And unto Adam he said, Because\r\nthou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of\r\nwhich I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt<\/span> not eat of\r\nit: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt<\/span>\r\nthou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it\r\nbring forth to thee; and thou shalt<\/span> eat the herb of\r\nthe field; In the sweat of thy face shalt<\/span> thou eat\r\nbread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast<\/span>\r\nthou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt<\/span>\r\nthou return.\"\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b> <\/span>(<\/span><\/span>Genesis 3:17<\/st1:time>-19)<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Sound like a curse to you?<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"In the sweat of thy face shalt<\/span> thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground.<\/span>\"\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b>\r\nYup.<\/span>\u00a0 That's a curse.\u00a0 Especially\r\nconsidering how Adam and Eve had lived without sweat in the foregoing years in\r\nthe Garden of Eden.\u00a0 All they had to do prior to their eviction was to\r\ngather whatever they needed.\u00a0 Everything they could possibly need was\r\nprovided.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

God was their entire source.\u00a0 They didn't work for a\r\nliving.\u00a0 Eve didn't have to sew any clothing or go to the local Bon Marche\r\nor Nordstrom's or Macy's in order to outfit she<\/span> and Adam\r\nin the latest and greatest!\u00a0 Fact is, they had the latest and greatest -- ALL<\/st1:stockticker> THE TIME -- and it didn't cost them a cent!<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The \"latest and greatest,\" of course, was\r\nnothing more and nothing less than the Glory of the Lord that clothed and\r\nsurrounded them.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Adam wasn't out digging ditches for irrigation in\r\n100-degree temperatures.\u00a0 He wasn't scraping or plowing or harrowing with\r\nhis John Deere in order to see that the ground was properly fertilized.\u00a0\r\nThere was no such thing as spring and summer and fall and winter.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Eve didn't have to manage the local Safeway or Albertson's\r\nin order to see that their household was stocked with the proper food,<\/span> and Adam wasn't bargaining with Tyson's for his prepped\r\nbaking chicken or turkey.\u00a0 He didn't have to run to the local Chevron with\r\nhis Escalade or Hummer before 10:00 PM to buy gas.\u00a0 Eve didn't have to\r\ncontend with beeping interruptions on her Sprint cell phone from their kids\r\nwanting this or that.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Fact is,<\/span> the Garden of Eden was\r\nnothing more and nothing less than a reproduction of Heaven on Earth.\u00a0 When\r\nit came to a need to communicate, Adam and Eve had \"Holy Spirit\r\ncommunication\" with God and with each other.\u00a0 Sci-fi aficionados like\r\nto call it \"mental telepathy\" but there was nothing mental about it.\u00a0\r\nTheir minds were pure and uncontaminated.\u00a0 Whatever they needed to know to\r\naccomplish their assignment from God was there -- instantly! -- and<\/span> that knowledge didn't come from courses at Eden Tech: it\r\ncame by revelation from the Spirit of God.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

If they needed to be hundreds of miles away at some\r\ndifferent place in the Garden, transportation was nothing more than envisioning\r\nwhat God had planted in them, and they were there in a millisecond -- uhh<\/span>, make that \"nanosecond.\"<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Whatever needed to happen,<\/span>\r\nhappened because they had been created in the image and likeness of God\r\nHimself.\u00a0 Just as He spoke the world into existence, they had the capacity\r\nto speak creatively.\u00a0 After all, one of Adam's assignments from God was to\r\nspeak into being the very character, makeup and<\/span> <\/span>onoma<\/span><\/i><\/span> of\r\nevery living thing on the planet.\u00a0 Adam didn't have to carefully weigh and\r\nconsider how the giraffe, the elephant, the rhino, the lion, the tiger or the\r\nhippopotamus should behave, think and react towards each other.\u00a0 The\r\ndivine revelation flowing in him which was characteristic of the Lord simply\r\nenvisioned, spoke and declared, and saw the manifestation of the faith-word\r\nthat came out of his mouth.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

But all that changed in the twinkling of an eye when they\r\nate the fruit of the forbidden tree.\u00a0 The Serpent's trick was to deceive\r\nEve -- and through her, Adam -- into rationalizing things and second-guessing\r\nGod.\u00a0 Once God's Word and command became something to question and\r\nreconsider, and then judge according to \"reasonable\" standards, Adam\r\nand Eve had been misled and duped into trading the divine realm of revelation,\r\nspirit-to-spirit communion and communication for knowledge that came by\r\nacquisition, by human endeavor, by experience-learning, by study and sweat.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Human knowledge had no place in the Garden.\u00a0 Human\r\nreasoning and rationale had no function in God's economy.\u00a0 Everything\r\nabout the Garden was \"sweatless<\/span>.\"<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Adam and Eve had effectively been transformed from Sons of\r\nGod into little gods -- and, Brother, was that ever a fall!\u00a0 They had\r\nbecome gods unto themselves, supplanting the authority of the Lord God through\r\nthe imagination and thoughts of their own minds.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Worse, they were now subjects of a former angelic-being --\r\nSatan -- whose lies, whose deception, whose tactics of fear, doubt, and\r\nunbelief were the only methodologies by which he could keep them subservient to\r\nhimself.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Strange, isn't it?\u00a0 Satan doesn't have this vast array\r\nof weapons in his arsenal.\u00a0 He only has three weapons, but he uses them\r\nagainst everyone -- and, Brother, does he EVER use them against anyone who has\r\na relationship with the Lord, or anyone who may be leaning towards a\r\nrelationship with the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let me deviate here for a minute to give you a prime\r\nexample of how Satan targets God's people with fear, doubt or unbelief.\u00c2<\/span>\u00a0 We'll<\/span> come back\r\nto this picture of Adam and Eve, and the curse that befell the human race\r\nbecause of their disobedience.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Fear, doubt and unbelief are all the core of anger,\r\njealousy and rage.\u00a0 Fear, doubt, and unbelief are all rooted in lies or\r\npartial and twisted facts.\u00a0 There's a statement that I've made for a\r\nnumber of years, and I'll repeat it here.\u00a0 It goes like this:<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Truth\" is not a collection of facts.\u00a0 And<\/span>\r\nyet it can be.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Truth\" is neither the reciting of history, nor a compilation\r\nof events which have occurred.\u00a0 And<\/span> yet it can\r\nbe.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Truth\" is not the quoting of scriptures.\u00a0 And<\/span> yet it can be.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Facts.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 History.<\/span>\u00a0 Scriptures.<\/span>\u00a0\r\nThey can all be a portion of truth, but in and of themselves, they are not --\r\nby any stretch of the imagination -- truth.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Facts can be twisted by The Spirit of Error and become a lie.\u00a0\r\nHistory can be distorted -- and often is -- so that historical facts are taken\r\nout of context to present a false picture.\u00a0 Personal experience, left to\r\nstand on its own, can bring wrong conclusions.\u00a0 Scriptures can be quoted\r\nto support virtually any stance one desires to take.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Truth, therefore, is not just facts, history, personal experience, or\r\nscriptures.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Truth<\/span><\/b> -- the genuine article -- can only come by the\r\nSpirit of Truth, which is one of the seven Spirits of God.\u00a0 The Spirit of\r\nTruth takes facts, takes history, takes<\/span> events which\r\nhave occurred -- either in our lives, or in the lives of others -- or, takes\r\nverses of scripture and applies them in a manner which brings life.\u00a0 The\r\nSpirit of Truth takes that life and transmits it into the core of our beings.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Truth -- the very essence of Jesus' onoma<\/span> -- is\r\nthat which He was clothed in.\u00a0 It was the life which went forth when He spoke\r\nthe worlds into existence.\u00a0 It was the spirit which went forth when He\r\nbreathed into man the breath of life.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Because everything He spoke was founded in Truth<\/b>, there was an\r\nabsoluteness to everything which occurred.\u00a0 The very foundations of the\r\nUniverse rested upon that Truth<\/b>.\u00a0 Truth<\/b>, therefore, is a\r\npart of the invincible foundation of the Throne.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

THAT, folks, is<\/span> what Satan seeks\r\nto contaminate, to steal, to destroy.\u00a0 And he does it with fear, doubt and\r\nunbelief.\u00a0 One of his favorite tactics was well articulated by the\r\ninfamous Hermann Goering, Hitler's minister of propaganda, in the statement\r\n(and I'm paraphrasing him), \"A lie repeated often enough will become\r\n\"truth\" that people will believe.<\/i>\"<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Here's a choice example of a \"lie repeated often\r\nenough\":\u00a0 All those televangelists want is your money.\u00a0 They\r\nonly do it to line their own pockets.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then you get \"news\" reports on CBS and ABC such\r\nas the recent \"expose\" of six ministries that are under investigation\r\nby the FBI (sic) (should be the IRS<\/st1:stockticker>\r\n-- NOT the FBI) for allegations of fraud.\u00a0 One of their examples was an\r\nallegation that Joyce Meyer was living a spendthrift lavish lifestyle, and that\r\nshe even had a $450,000 bathroom.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

This is a prime example of stupidity run amuck!\u00a0 The\r\nreal truth behind Joyce Meyer's \"bathroom\" was that a very wealthy\r\nlady came to her and told her that she was getting rid of some antiques.\u00a0\r\nShe knew that Joyce liked antique furniture and asked her if she would allow\r\nher to give Joyce a marble \"commode.\"<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In today's parlance, a \"commode\" is a toilet.\u00a0\r\nIn the 1800's, however, a \"commode\" was a very fancy dresser.\u00a0 I\r\nsuppose it could be used in a bathroom, if one wanted to put it there, but\r\nJoyce wasn't about to put this antique in her bathroom.\u00a0 Instead<\/span>, she put it on display in the foyer of her home.\u00a0\r\nShe had it appraised and the appraiser told her it was worth an estimated\r\n$450,000.\u00a0 Pretty fancy \"commode\" if you ask me.\u00a0 I\r\nwouldn't pay that kind of money for it, and I don't know many folks who would.\u00a0\r\nJoyce certainly wouldn't, but she graciously received the gift.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

When the story leaked out about her $450,000 commode, the\r\nfacts were twisted into her having spent nearly half a million dollars on a\r\nluxury bathroom.\u00a0 There wasn't any truth to the story whatever.\u00a0\r\nNevertheless, it lent credence to the canard about televangelists.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Early this year, Della and I participated in a ministers<\/span> conference at Eagle<\/st1:PlaceName> Mountain<\/st1:PlaceType>\r\n Church<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> in Fort Worth<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>, Texas.\u00a0\r\n(We weren't there in person because there were no more seats available, but\r\nwere provided with a private broadband feed in order to participate.)\u00a0 At\r\nthis conference, Creflo<\/span> Dollar presented Kenneth and\r\nGloria Copeland with a check for $2 Million as a personal thank you gift\r\ngathered from many hundreds of ministers, churches and businessmen who wanted\r\nto express their appreciation for the Copelands<\/span>' 40\r\nyears of ministry.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

You'd have thought Creflo<\/span> and\r\nall those who participated in this gift committed the \"Crime of the\r\nCentury\" to hear the news reports, Internet blogs and stories that began\r\nto fly soon thereafter.\u00a0 Missing from the stories, of course, was that the\r\nCopelands<\/span> had given and distributed well over a\r\nbillion dollars (Yup, that's billion with a $B!) over the years into other\r\nministries to build churches, finance missions, provide for missionaries,\r\nestablish homes for the homeless, finance huge soul-winning crusades such as\r\nthose of Reinhard<\/span> Bonnke<\/span> --\r\nand much more -- all leading to the salvation of literally hundreds of millions\r\nof people throughout those forty years.\u00a0 And that doesn't count their own\r\nradio and television ministries and worldwide crusades and conferences!<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Sure.\u00a0 There<\/span> are a very few\r\nbad apples in the pot.\u00a0 There are those who have captured the message of\r\nprosperity and the truth of it in Scripture who have perhaps misused or\r\nmisspent some portion of the monies they receive.\u00a0 If you listen to\r\nSatan's repeated obfuscation, however, the whole lot of them are like that.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Never mind the fact that Creflo<\/span>\r\nDollar began to build his fortune before he ever began pastoring<\/span>\r\n(he built and operated -- maybe still does -- a highly successful commercial\r\ncharter airline) and has used the principles of the Gospel to teach the truth\r\nof God's blessing to millions of others.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Never mind the fact that Scripturally,<\/span>\r\nJoyce Meyer is entitled to a tithe of the monies she receives for her own\r\npersonal use.\u00a0 The truth is that she has taken perhaps three percent for\r\nher and her family's needs and desires, and has used 97% of every dollar that\r\ncomes in for direct ministry.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Never mind the fact that Kenneth and Gloria Copeland\r\nreceived lands and houses from their parents as an inheritance, and wisely used\r\nand invested what they have received according to Biblical principles.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

You know what it is, don't you?\u00a0 Sheer\r\njealousy.<\/span>\u00a0 Satan absolutely does not want folks to know that the\r\nWord of God works!\u00a0 It produces the same results no matter the individual,\r\nno matter the economy, no matter the culture or society, so long as people\r\napply the principles of the Kingdom of God to their lives in and BY FAITH!\u00a0\r\nOne does not have to live in America for these principles to work.\u00a0 They\r\nwork in Kenya.\u00a0 They work in Uganda.\u00a0 They work in Argentina.\u00a0\r\nThey work in Mexico.\u00a0 They work in Russia.\u00a0 They work in Iraq and\r\nUzbekistan.\u00a0 And they always work for faith-speaking, spirit-filled,\r\nBible-believing, grace-exhibiting, love-manifesting believers in Jesus Christ.\u00a0\r\nALWAYS!<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

So the trick of Satan is to get Christians to look first\r\nat their own wallets, bank accounts or lifestyles, and then judge the wallets,\r\nbank accounts and lifestyles of successful preachers, ministers of the Gospel\r\nor Christian business leaders through jaundiced eyes.\u00a0 Suspicion is\r\nimmediately attached to the motives and activities of those in ministry whose\r\nlives exhibit the fruit of the living by and according to God's Word.\u00a0 Woe\r\nbe to the one-out-of-a-thousand minister who is accused of unethical behavior\r\nin some way or another!\u00a0 He's just another one of those televangelists\r\nwho only want your money!<\/i><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

You see what I'm saying, don't you?\u00a0 We don't need to\r\nbelabor the point.\u00a0 Satan doesn't want you to prosper.\u00a0 He doesn't\r\nwant you to learn and live by Kingdom Economics.\u00a0 If<\/span>\r\nand when you do, you are a threat to his kingdoms.\u00a0 The wealthier God's\r\npeople are and live, the poorer Satan is, and the greater the degree of inroad\r\non his territory.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Back to Adam and Eve.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

They lived this life of wealth and prosperity in the\r\nGarden.\u00a0 They lived a life totally devoid of need of any kind.\u00a0 They\r\nlived a life of power and authority.\u00a0 They lived the dominion that God\r\nblessed them with.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

THAT IS GOD'S STANDARD!\u00a0 And THAT is exactly where He\r\nis out to return His people!\u00a0 Anything less than God's Standard is Satan's\r\nlie.\u00a0 Settling for anything less than God's standard simply means that if\r\nwe \"settle,\" we are in agreement with Satan.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And THAT, folks, is<\/span> adultery.\u00a0\r\nSpiritual<\/span> adultery.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jesus describes Satan (see John 10:10<\/st1:time>) like this:<\/span> <\/span>\"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill,\r\nand to destroy.\"\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b> <\/span>Isn't\r\nthat exactly what he did with Adam and Eve?<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Through deception, through doubt, fear and unbelief,\r\nthrough human analysis and reasoning, he literally stole Adam's dominion and\r\nplace of authority; and in the process, he deprived him of the\r\n\"need-less\" lifestyle he'd known in the Garden with the Lord God.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Kingdom<\/span> <\/span>Economics<\/span> <\/span>are designed to return us to that \"need-less\" place\r\n-- that place of authority and dominion, that place of every conceivable need\r\nsupplied, the place that Jesus promised when He said,<\/span> <\/span>\"I am come that they might have life, and that they\r\nmight have it more abundantly.\"<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Yup!\u00a0 That's the essence of Kingdom Economics.\u00a0\r\nMore to come.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In the Kingdom<\/st1:PlaceType>\r\n of God<\/st1:PlaceName><\/st1:place>, what the world\r\ncalls \"miracles\" are only the natural manifestation of God's power,\r\nHis love and His grace working in and through His people.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Blessing of the Lord be<\/span> upon\r\nyou.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
