Let me begin today by extracting some quotes that Holy Spirit\r\ngave to me when I was writing a book titled, EKKLESIA, THE PREPARATION OF THE\r\nBRIDE.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Truth -- the genuine article -- can only come by the Spirit of\r\nTruth, which is one of the seven Spirits of God.\u00a0 <\/span>The Spirit of Truth takes facts, takes\r\nhistory, takes events which have occurred -- either in our lives, or in the\r\nlives of others -- or, takes verses of scripture and applies them in a manner\r\nwhich brings life.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Spirit of Truth takes that life and transmits it into the\r\ncore of our beings.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Satan\r\nhas been a past master at utilizing facts, factual events, history -- and\r\nespecially Scripture -- in order to pervert the truth.\u00a0 <\/span>He especially delights in making those facts,\r\nthose events, those scriptures, a lie which will divert us from the purposes\r\nand heart's desire of the Lord Jesus Christ by simply adding his\r\n\"twist\" to them, or -- as he did with Adam and Eve in the Garden --\r\ncausing us to see facts in such a manner as to question the purpose, the\r\nintegrity, and the desire of the Lord.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Witness, for example, the way in which he twisted scriptures in order to\r\ntempt Jesus while He was in the wilderness.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Our\r\nstudy is not an effort to put together a collection of historical facts in\r\norder to prove a point.\u00a0 <\/span>It is not just a\r\ncollection of scripture quotations.\u00a0 <\/span>It\r\nis my hope to put together a compilation of events which have occurred with\r\nDella and me, and others, as we have lived Ekklesia.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

For us,\r\nit is<\/b> truth!\u00a0 <\/span>But it is truth\r\nbecause the Spirit of Truth has applied our understanding and research of\r\nhistory, as well as the events which have unfolded in our lives, to scriptures which\r\nHe has put into action<\/u> -- not because we have studied history, and not\r\nbecause we have memorized scriptures.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Unless He, The\r\nSpirit of Truth, also reveals this to you, it too will be just a collection of\r\nfacts, a recitation of historical findings, the reporting of events which have\r\nunfolded in our lives, and the quotation of\u00a0\r\n<\/span>scriptures to support our particular \"doctrine.\"<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

John 16:13-15<\/span><\/u><\/b>:<\/span><\/b> Howbeit\r\nwhen He, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for He\r\nshall not speak of himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that<\/i> shall He\r\nspeak: and He will show you things to come.\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

He shall glorify me: for He shall receive of mine, and shall\r\nshow it<\/i> unto you.\u00a0 <\/span>All things that\r\nthe Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that He (the Spirit of Truth) shall\r\ntake of mine, and shall show it<\/i> unto you.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Sixth\r\nin the list of the Seven Spirits of God is the Spirit of Truth.\u00a0 <\/span>John is the only one of the NT authors who\r\nquotes Jesus\u2019 references to the Spirit of Truth, but he mentions Him four\r\ntimes.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Here\r\nagain is a list of the Seven Spirits of God \u2013 all of which are a part of the\r\ncentral character and makeup of the Lord Jesus Christ \u2013 LOVE!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Spirit of Judgment & Burning <\/span><\/b>(Isaiah 4:4)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Spirit of Wisdom &Understanding <\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>(Isaiah 11:1-5)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Before\r\nwe get into all of the characteristics and operations of the Spirit of Truth,\r\nlet\u2019s first take a look at the remaining references in John\u2019s Gospel and the\r\none in his first epistle.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/span>John\r\n14:15-17<\/span><\/u><\/b>:<\/span><\/b> If ye love me, keep my commandments.\u00a0 <\/span>And I will pray the Father, and he shall give\r\nyou another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;\u00a0 <\/span>Even<\/i> the Spirit of truth; whom the\r\nworld cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye\r\nknow him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

John 16:7-14<\/span><\/u><\/b>:<\/span><\/b> Nevertheless\r\nI tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not\r\naway, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him\r\nunto you.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of\r\nrighteousness, and of judgment:\u00a0 <\/span>Of sin,\r\nbecause they believe not on me;\u00a0 <\/span>Of\r\nrighteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;\u00a0 <\/span>Of judgment, because the prince of this world\r\nis judged.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them\r\nnow.\u00a0 <\/span>Howbeit when he, the Spirit of\r\ntruth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of\r\nhimself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that<\/i> shall he speak: and he will\r\nshow you things to come.\u00a0 <\/span>He shall\r\nglorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it<\/i> unto you.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I John 4:1-6<\/span><\/u><\/b>:<\/span><\/b> Beloved,\r\nbelieve not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because\r\nmany false prophets are gone out into the world.\u00a0 <\/span>Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every\r\nspirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come\r\nin the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit<\/i> of antichrist,\r\nwhereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the\r\nworld.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because\r\ngreater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.\u00a0 <\/span>They are of the world: therefore speak they\r\nof the world, and the world heareth them.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of\r\nGod heareth not us.\u00a0 <\/span>Hereby know we the\r\nSpirit of Truth, and the spirit of error.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

To\r\nthese Scriptures we add the following introduction by John of Jesus:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

John 1:14<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>And the Word was made\r\nflesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only\r\nbegotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Truth\r\nis mentioned not less than 90 times in the New Testament, but John uses this\r\nterm 47 times (or more than half) of all its occurrences in the NT.\u00a0 <\/span>There\u2019s good reason why John is the dominant\r\nwriter concerning Truth: he, of all the disciples, had the closest bond of love\r\nwith Jesus during the 3 \u00bd years of Jesus\u2019 ministry.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It\r\nis in love \u2013 agape love \u2013 that Truth, the Spirit of Truth is revealed.\u00a0 <\/span>Right after John says, \u201cHereby know we the\r\nSpirit of Truth and the spirit of error,\u201d he writes the following:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I John 4:7-13<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>Beloved, let us love\r\none another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and\r\nknoweth God.\u00a0 <\/span>He that loveth not knoweth\r\nnot God; for God is love.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that\r\nGod sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through\r\nhim.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and\r\nsent his Son to be<\/i> the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so\r\nloved us, we ought also to love one another.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God\r\ndwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.\u00a0 <\/span>Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he\r\nin us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now,\r\nlet\u2019s see if we can extract from these Scripture references the character and\r\nnature of the Spirit of Truth.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

1.<\/span>\u00a0He shall guide you\r\ninto all truth.<\/span> (John\r\n16:13)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

2.<\/span>\u00a0Whatever He hears\r\n(from the Father), that shall He speak.<\/span> (John 16:13)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

3.<\/span>\u00a0He will show you\r\nthings to come [give prophetic revelation].<\/span> (John 16:13)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

4.<\/span>\u00a0He glorifies the Lord\r\nJesus Christ [only]. <\/span>(John\r\n16:14)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

5.<\/span>\u00a0Whatever\r\nJesus says and gives, He [The Spirit of Truth] declares and announces to those\r\nwho hear and believe. <\/span>(John\r\n16:14)\u00a0 <\/span>The Greek word, \u201canangello<\/i>\u201d <\/span><\/b>occurs in this verse giving\r\nthe sense that when we have angelic visitations where truth is revealed, it is\r\nthe Spirit of Truth which has sent them.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

6.<\/span>\u00a0Jesus goes on to\r\nclarify that <\/span>everything that He has comes from the Father, and that therefore\r\nthe Spirit of Truth transmits and conveys that to us. <\/span>(John 16:15)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

7.<\/span>\u00a0The Spirit of Truth\r\nis the Comforter \u2013 the Paraklete.<\/span> (John 14:16)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

8.<\/span>\u00a0The Spirit of Truth\r\nwill not speak to those in the world because they neither see Him, nor know\r\nHim, and they will not receive anything He has to say or to give.\u00a0 <\/span>Neither will He reveal anything of the Father\r\nor the Son to anyone who does not love the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span> (John 14:15-16)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

9.<\/span>\u00a0For those who walk in\r\nlove and an intimate relationship with Jesus, the Spirit of Truth will remain\r\nwith them in perpetuity <\/span>(Greek:aion<\/span><\/i>: <\/span><\/b>throughout\r\neternity). (John 14:16)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

10.<\/span>\u00a0For those who walk in\r\nlove \u2013 AND in the Spirit \u2013 Jesus\u2019 promise is that the Spirit of Truth will\r\ndwell IN us.<\/span> (John\r\n14:17)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

11.<\/span>\u00a0A primary job of the\r\nSpirit of Truth is to reprove, confute, convict and admonish the world of, for\r\nand because of sin<\/span>. <\/span>\r\n(John 16:8-11)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

12.<\/span>\u00a0Along\r\nwith reproving the world of sin, the Spirit of Truth has the responsibility to\r\nconvince<\/span>(Greek:\r\nelengcho<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>) <\/span>the\r\nworld of righteousness<\/span>\r\n(<\/span>Greek:\r\ndikaiosune<\/span><\/i>:\r\n<\/span><\/b><\/span>justification and innocence through Christ Jesus). <\/span>(John 16:8-11)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

13.<\/span>The\r\nthird element of the Spirit of Truth\u2019s primary purpose and mission to the world\r\nis to demonstrate that the <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

14.<\/span>\u00a0\u201cprince of the world\u201d\r\nhas been judged by God, convicted, stripped of his authority and sentenced to\r\neverlasting hell fire. <\/span>(John\r\n16:8-11)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

15.\r\n<\/span>The Spirit of Truth always reveals and shows to those who walk\r\nin love the spirit of antichrist, its operation and its presence in the world\r\naround us. <\/span>(I\r\nJohn 4:2-3)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

At the same time The Spirit of Truth always uncovers the spirit\r\nof error and makes clear how the spirit of error is rooted in the spirit of\r\nantichrist.\u00a0 <\/span>He accomplishes this with a\r\nsimple question:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Will the spirit that is speaking hear the Word of the Lord, or\r\nwill it rebel against that Word, insisting on having its own way and clinging\r\nto its own ideas, thoughts or teachings of man. <\/span>(I John 4:6)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

16.<\/span>\u00a0When John begins his\r\nGospel, he clearly states that Jesus was full of the Spirit of Grace and the\r\nSpirit of Truth \u2013 that in Jesus Christ was the Spirit of Grace and the Spirit\r\nof Truth manifested in the flesh. <\/span>(John 1:14)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

17.<\/span>\u00a0The Spirit of Truth\r\nonly manifests and demonstrates in the presence of agape <\/i>love.<\/span> (I John 4:7-)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It is the Spirit of Truth that brings to us the confidence and assurance\r\n\u2013 the \u201cwitness of the Spirit\u201d \u2013 that we dwell in the Lord Jesus Christ, and\r\nthat He dwells in us. <\/span>\r\n(I\r\nJohn 4:13)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

For\r\nthose who have ears to hear and eyes to see, the Spirit of Truth is the one who\r\nreveals the character and nature of the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0 <\/span>He is the one who convinces us \u2013 convicts and\r\nreproves in love \u2013 of error and misunderstanding.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nSpirit of Truth is our Guide in all spiritual revelation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

While\r\nthe Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation (Understanding) brings us revelation and\r\nshows us what the Lord is up to, it is the Spirit of Truth who applies that\r\nrevelation in a practical, workable dimension.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let me share the\r\nfollowing before we continue on.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Some is\r\nshared from prophetic insight.\u00a0 <\/span>It was\r\ngiven to us by the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 <\/span>For it\r\nto become life within you will require the same degree of revelation from the\r\nHoly Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Before\r\nyou act on anything contained within this book, you must<\/b>, of necessity,\r\nhear from the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 <\/span>It must<\/b>\r\nwitness within your spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Some\r\nthings are clearly identified as \"musts.\"\u00a0 <\/span>They are identified as imperatives from the\r\nParaklete, and as such must be regarded as the clarion Word of the Lord.\r\nNevertheless, no one can act on these imperatives until they have personally\r\nheard them within their own spirits.\u00a0 <\/span>My\r\nsaying so in this study does not mean you have heard it within your\r\nspirit.\u00a0 <\/span>That is up to the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nwhole objective of our pursuit of Truth \u2014 and the Spirit of Truth \u2014 is intimacy\r\nwith the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0 <\/span>The whole\r\npurpose of our gaining the knowledge of the Truth is to prepare the Bride for\r\nthe Bridegroom.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\r\nare all being led by the Spirit to a place of individual responsiveness, and\r\nintimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0 <\/span>No\r\none can tell you how<\/b> to respond.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>That is between you and the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I can\r\nonly tell you that you must<\/b> respond -- if you expect to go on beyond\r\nyour present state of growth -- to His still, small voice.\u00a0 <\/span>I can only tell you that you must<\/b> obey\r\n-- Him<\/b> -- not me<\/u>, not some pastor, not some church leader, not\r\nsome evangelist, etc., etc., etc.\u00a0 <\/span>This\r\nis a call from the Bridegroom -- Himself<\/b>.\u00a0 <\/span>He desires personal, and intimate\r\nrelationship with You<\/b> -- not second and third-party -- not through some\r\nother individual; and not through something which you read or hear from others.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nLaw, as it was given by Moses, was intended by God to serve as a governor -- a\r\nmeans by which God's people, Israel, would see that their first and only real\r\npriority was their relationship with the Lord.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>The first three of the ten commandments, in fact, deal with our vertical\r\nrelationship with Him.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus noted His\r\napproval of the young man who summed up the first three commandments as,\r\n\"Thou shalt love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul,\r\nand with all thy mind.\"\u00a0 <\/span>The last\r\nseven He simply tallied as, \"and thy neighbor as thyself.\"<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Had\r\nIsrael seen the significance of the first three commandments, history might\r\nwell have taken a different course.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Unfortunately, the Law became a substitute for that relationship desired\r\nby the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nsame is true within the world of the church.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>This system has been permitted by the Lord -- even though it was never\r\nHis objective or heart's desire -- to steer people towards the truth.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Within\r\nthe church, people have been introduced to salvation.\u00a0 <\/span>They have been introduced to baptisms.\u00a0 <\/span>They have been introduced to the miraculous\r\ndisplays of the power of the Holy Spirit, and the available gifts through Him.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

For a\r\nlarge majority of all Christians, however, there has been an indestructible\r\nlink between these events and \"the church.\"\u00a0 <\/span>The structure and system of the church have\r\n-- in the minds of most Christians -- become woven together inextricably with\r\nthe gifts and calling of the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\ngreat majority have not realized that the \"system\" and\r\n\"structure\" were not ordained by the Lord; that they are a by-product\r\nand outgrowth of a doctrine which crept into the Body of Christ late in the\r\nfirst century.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

John\r\nsaw this as a deadly doctrine designed to keep people from ever entering into\r\nthe true place of intimacy with Jesus Christ.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>He described it as both the \u201cdoctrine and the deeds of the\r\nNicolaitans.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\r\n\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

As it\r\nwas revealed to John by the Lord, He described it to John as, \"which thing\r\nI hate.\"\u00a0 <\/span>It embodied both\r\n\u201cdemocracy\u201d in the church, as well as \u201chierarchy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Once you have read\r\nthe Word of Truth in Scripture, or heard it with your ears, I believe that the\r\nHoly Spirit will bring you to a place of decision. You will face choices you\r\nhave never faced before in your life.\u00a0 <\/span>The\r\nrevelation of Truth in your spirit will bring to a birth in you the absolute\r\nand crystal clear knowledge that the Lord desires an intimate relationship with\r\nyou which is devoid of church structure, doctrine, denomination, position,\r\ntitle, talent and ability, intellectual achievement, etc.\u00a0 <\/span>This is a relationship predicated on living\r\nin His presence, NOW!<\/b> -- not at some distant point \"when we all get\r\nto heaven.\"<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Growing up in a\r\nmore-or-less traditional \u201cchurch\u201d setting, I was exposed to certain teachings\r\nthat just didn\u2019t ring with the Spirit of Truth in my inner being.\u00a0 <\/span>When the Lord broke me out of the four walls\r\nof traditional \u201cchurchdom,\u201d I had much more time to be quiet and listen to Holy\r\nSpirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It is a wonderful\r\nthing to be in that place.\u00a0 <\/span>My thirst to\r\nKNOW the Word magnified exponentially.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>The time I spent with the Lord in fasting and meditating on His Word\r\nopened up revelation in a way I could not have imagined.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Old, traditional\r\ndoctrines and teachings began to fall by the wayside.\u00a0 <\/span>I began to see that the general focus of the\r\nmainstream Pentecostal and charismatic and evangelical churches was an escapist\r\nmentality.\u00a0 <\/span>People were praying that the\r\nLord would hurry up and come and \u201crapture\u201d them \u201coutta here!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The concept of an\r\novercoming body of believers who knew how to rule and reign in this present\r\nworld just got lost in the shuffle.\u00a0 <\/span>One\r\nof the first major revelations came some 40+ years ago with the picture of\r\nnatural Israel being commanded to overcome and wipe out her enemies who\r\noccupied the last of promise.\u00a0 <\/span>Instead,\r\nIsrael compromised and did exactly what they were instructed NOT to do.\u00a0 <\/span>They allowed their enemies to live, to become\r\ntheir slaves, intermarried with them and began to serve the false gods of those\r\nnations.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I saw a direct\r\nparallel between the seven nations that occupied Canaan, their characteristics\r\nand demonic personalities, and that which the body of Christ was instructed to\r\novercome by the Spirit and rule over.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Eight times in the revelation that John experiences, he hears the\r\nphrase, \u201cto him that overcometh.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Each\r\npromise that follows that phrase is a sequential positioning of intimacy with\r\nthe Lord Jesus Christ, leading to our joining with Him at the Marriage Supper\r\nof the Lamb.\u00a0 <\/span>The final promise is as\r\nfollows:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation 21:7<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span>He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his\r\nGod, and he shall be my son<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now THAT\u2019S\r\nTruth!\u00a0 <\/span>That is what the Lord has been\r\ntrying to communicate to all of us who would listen to His voice.\u00a0 <\/span>Once we hear the Spirit of Truth in our\r\ninnermost beings, we KNOW where Holy Spirit is leading us.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Now we begin to see the Seven Spirits of\r\nGod!<\/span><\/p>\r\n
