ANOTHER COFFEE BREAK: BABYLON IS FALLING DOWN, Part 10<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Whewww<\/span><\/b><\/span>!!!! Four days of\r\ntemperatures reaching 111 degrees and our AC quitting on the first day with no\r\nrepairman available until the fifth day makes sitting in the office and writing\r\nthese Coffee Breaks just a tad difficult. Hence the delay in getting this week's\r\npost out.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

By the time many of you get to read this post, the first stage\r\nof the Global Currency Reset will likely have taken place, and what seems\r\nalmost like madness will prevail at many of the nation's banks as folks try to\r\ncash in on their newly-received wealth. Even before the first stages of the\r\nattending protocols kicked in as far as the public was aware, security has been\r\ntightened, thousands of new security personnel either hired or requested to\r\nwork extended hours and banks across the country have been prepared for an\r\nonrush of new clients.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Wealth Management groups, such as Abbott-Downing, have known\r\nabout and have been preparing for months to deal with huge investment\r\nrequirements for tens -- and perhaps hundreds -- of thousands of new (and very\r\nuneducated) investors needing assistance in diversification.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Few if any of the wealth managers have had any concept of\r\ninvesting in the Kingdom of God, and their focus is almost exclusively Money,\r\nMoney, Money, More, More, More -- for their clients, to be sure, but more so\r\nfor their banking firms! Herein lies<\/span> a double-edged\r\nsword for God's people.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Before I continue, let me build a fence around some of my\r\ncommentary. There is absolutely nothing wrong with making money,<\/span>\r\nand lots of it; and in fact, the power to get rich is a gift from God -- a\r\ncovenant gift for those walking in covenant with Him.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

For people who understand the covenant of wealth, there is a\r\nclear understanding that with great wealth comes<\/span> great\r\nresponsibility and answerability to the Lord. There are Kingdom priorities that\r\nare well established throughout God's Word -- the first and most important\r\npriority being to demonstrate to an\u00a0<\/span>on looking<\/span>\u00a0world just\r\nwhat it means to walk in covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ; the second\r\npriority to allow Holy Spirit to work through you\u00a0using that wealth<\/i><\/b>\u00a0so\r\nthat<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"that he may establish<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>**<\/span><\/i><\/b>qum<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>)\u00a0<\/span>his covenant which\r\nhe\u00a0<\/span>sware<\/span><\/span>\u00a0unto\r\nthy fathers.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

This Hebrew word,\u00a0<\/span>qum<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span><\/span>, translated\r\n\"establish,\" is pretty strong and it amplifies our understanding of\r\nwhat is required of God's people when this wealth is given. This word means:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to cause to abide, to accomplish, to continue, to decree<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>to perform<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now, let's continue. The double-edged sword for believers comes\r\nin the fact that we live in a \"me-first\" society which demands and\r\nencourages self-gratification on just about every level. The ease with which we\r\nare able to gratify the whims and desires (the Scripture calls it \"the\r\nlusts\") of our flesh makes it so easy to fall prey to something that\r\nJeremiah, prophesying to Israel, describes like this,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"Those who eat delicacies are desolate in the\r\nstreets.\"<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(Lamentations 4:5\r\nNASB)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jeremiah 51 refers to the trap laid by Nebuchadnezzar, king of\r\nBabylon, when he writes that \"<\/span>he has filled his stomach with my delicacies.\"<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>In case you think I'm kind of getting\r\ntoo oblique here, let's get down to the brass tacks.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The danger to believers is falling<\/span> prey\r\nto the ease of self-gratification once they've been given great wealth, and not\r\nrealizing that the enemy also uses money against God's people. Wealth is God's\r\nprovince! He is the enabler, the giver, the One who gives the power to gain\r\nwealth and to be rich.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Satan has gotten away with a lie for generation after generation\r\nafter generation by promoting the idea that\u00a0\"to be rich is sinful.\r\nAfter all, money is the root of all evil. God wants people to be humble, and\r\none can't be humble and have lots of money.\"<\/i>\u00a0Bah Humbug! It\r\nresults in a poverty mindset that has beset the body of Christ and kept the\r\nwicked in power, ruling over the righteous.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

One more time:\u00a0<\/span>\"But thou\u00a0<\/span>shalt<\/span><\/span>\u00a0remember the LORD thy God:\u00a0for\u00a0it\r\nis<\/i>\u00a0He that\u00a0<\/u><\/span>giveth<\/span><\/u><\/span>\u00a0thee power to get wealth, that He may\r\nestablish his covenant which He\u00a0<\/span><\/u>sware<\/span><\/u><\/span>\u00a0unto thy father<\/span><\/u>s, as\u00a0it is<\/i>\u00a0this day.<\/span>\"<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>(Deuteronomy 8:18)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I know many of you are wondering if I'm ever going to get to the\r\npoint, so let's revisit a piece of John's prophecy against the spirit of\r\nBabylon.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"For all nations\r\nhave drunk of the wine of the wrath of [Babylon's] fornication, and the kings\r\nof the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the\r\nearth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Virtually all of the OT prophets lamented Israel's fornication.\r\nWhat God was addressing through Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc., was the\r\nspiritual fornication that had taken place among His people -- a people whom He\r\nhad \"betrothed\" to Himself. They had gone chasing after other gods.\r\nThey had co-mingled their families with the families of the accursed nations\r\nand contaminated the worship of God with the worship of false gods -- demons\r\nwho had first sold them the bill of goods that wealth and riches were not a\r\npart of God's promise to His people, and then enticed them with \"easy\r\nmoney\" and \"the abundance of Babylon's delicacies.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

John, in the Revelation that the Lord Jesus Christ gives to him,\r\nidentifies that same kind of fornication and adultery within the corporate body\r\nknown worldwide as \"Christians.\" Consider the way he begins his\r\nletter to the\u00a0<\/span>Ekklesia<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in Sardis\r\n(see Chapter 3):<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"I know thy works, that thou hast a name\r\nthat thou\u00a0<\/span>livest<\/span><\/span>, and art dead.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Paul, on the other hand in writing to Timothy, describes a\r\npeople<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"Having a form of godliness, but denying\r\nthe power thereof.\"<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(See II Timothy\r\n3:5)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Both are describing the same contamination in the body of\r\nChrist. There are many folks who call themselves \"Christian\" who\r\nprofess to know the Lord, and in reality they are as dead as doornails when it\r\ncomes to spiritual things. They couldn't lay hands on the sick and see them\r\nrecover if their lives depended on it. They couldn't cast out demons without\r\nbeing attacked by those demons in the same way the seven sons of\u00a0<\/span>Sceva<\/span><\/span>\u00a0experienced.\r\n(Acts 19:14)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then you have that group of people who by all outward\r\nappearances are real believers. They have all of the right words, they say the\r\nright phrases, they even claim to believe and walk by faith, but when it comes\r\nright down to it, they deny the power. Start talking to them about being\r\n\"baptized in the Holy Spirit\" or \"being filled with the Spirit\"\r\nand they get really defensive. The most common excuse is\u00a0\"Well,\r\nI'm willing to do it. If God wants me to have it, then He'll give it to\r\nme.\"<\/i>\u00a0It's a cheap cop-out to avoid the necessary yielding of\r\ntheir most contrary vessel -- the tongue -- to the complete control of Holy\r\nSpirit.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I don't want to just dwell on the negative, and that's not what\r\nthis series is for. My objective is to sound a clarion call throughout the body\r\nof Christ to a people whose lives have been co-opted either consciously or unconsciously\r\nby the lusts of their flesh, by the attraction to the \"delicacies\"\r\noffered by Satan. Let's be clear. Satan offers these niceties and seemingly\r\ndelicious things in such a way that people's eyes are blinded to the truth of\r\nthe destruction that follows.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Because of the spirit of poverty that has so wound its way\r\nthrough the teachings and doctrines that pervade Christianity today, it has\r\ncreated a huge class of people who hate the poverty and will do almost anything\r\nto get ahead in life. As a result, they are ripe for schemes that will solve\r\ntheir money problems. It has resulted in a glaring contrast between the\r\nso-called \"prosperity preachers\" and those who preach tithing,\r\ngiving, sowing of seed out of their own poverty mindset because of their own\r\nneeds.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let me pause here momentarily to give credit to folks like\r\nKenneth\u00a0<\/span>Hagin<\/span><\/span>, Kenneth Copeland,\r\nJesse\u00a0<\/span>Duplantis<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>Creflo<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Dollar, Bill\r\nWinston and other brethren who have taken it on the chin for years while trying\r\nto lift the body of Christ out of its centuries-old mindset of poverty and\r\nfalse humility. They have suffered, and continue to suffer, attacks and\r\nslander, being defamed and reviled by false brethren whose eyes have been\r\nblinded by the god of this world.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Unfortunately, the body of Christ is filled with a lot of\u00a0<\/span>wanna<\/span><\/span>-be prosperity\r\npreachers and teachers who have not yet been delivered from a spirit of poverty\r\nand wind up preaching and teaching a warped version of God's blessing while\r\nusing the enticements of Babylon and the Babylonian system in order to seduce\r\nfolks into giving, tithing, etc. This is -- again -- that double-edged sword\r\nthat faces God's people today.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

One edge is the blessing of the Lord in the form of the\r\n\"power to get wealth\" and with it, the recognition that with great\r\nwealth from the Lord comes<\/span> great responsibility.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The opposite edge of the sword is the tendency to see money as\r\n\"power\" and to wind up in effect worshiping money.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let's put it another way. Jesus said,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the\r\none, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the\r\nother. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.\"<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(Matthew 6:24)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

If your Master is the Lord Jesus Christ, then you treat wealth\r\nas the empowerment from the Lord\u00a0<\/span>\"that he may establish<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>his covenant.\"<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>If your Master is Mammon then you\r\nworship money, you put it first, you make it your priority in life, and you\r\nsubject yourself to Babylon, its spirit, its psychology, its mindset and its\r\nmode of operation.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Babylon and its way of life, its system of operating, its\r\nenticements and seductions are not just the province of the world; Babylon --\r\nthe feminine spirit of Babylon we more frequently refer to as \"the spirit\r\nof Jezebel\" -- has so infiltrated the body of Christ with what we commonly\r\nand generically call \"the church\" that the two are almost\r\nindistinguishable from one another.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"And I heard\r\nanother voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not\r\npartakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins\r\nhave reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

THAT is the call of Holy Spirit in the body of Christ today to a\r\npeople who will hear and respond. Twenty years ago while we were gathering at\r\nTrails End in Post Falls, Idaho with a fair number of folks in the midst of\r\nspontaneous prophetic praise and worship, Holy Spirit began to pour into us the\r\nprophetic call for God's people to come out of Babylon.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The music and the prophetic singing took on many forms -- some\r\nvery sober and explicit in describing the spirit of Babylon, some a gentle call\r\nto those who would hear, and some of the music was rather humorous. One piece\r\nin particular had no words but drew a pretty good picture of folks\r\n\"shuffling\" out of Babylon. We called it,\u00a0The Babylon Shuffle<\/i>.\r\nFunny or not, it gave a good understanding that the Lord is using many avenues\r\nand types of prophetic messaging to convey the critical importance for people\r\nto get out of Babylon, and be delivered from its system of operating, its\r\nmindset and its enticements.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We've been talking about the Basel III Protocols, the Global\r\nCurrency Reset and the Babylon II software created and put in motion to deal\r\nwith the world's economic crises. Here's the problem. These are all man-made\r\nefforts to deal with Babylon's problems. The thinking and mindset of those\r\nwho've labored so hard to effect<\/span> these\r\n\"repairs\" to the world's rapidly dissolving economies is still\r\ncontaminated by the spirit of Babylon.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Lord has so orchestrated things in the midst of this that\r\nHis people, His Bride, will be blessed in the midst and face of the fall of\r\nBabylon. This is a short window of opportunity for all of us to participate in\r\none of the greatest Kingdom advancing events in all of history.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Here's the thing that God's people need to watch. First it is\r\npatently obvious that the governing power of this nation is going to undergo\r\nradical change -- at least in the short term. Let me explain.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

It is a tragic commentary on the state of evangelical\r\nChristianity in America when we realize that 57% of so-called evangelical\r\nChristians (according to statisticians) voted to keep our current\r\nadministration in power -- an administration quite possibly the most corrupt\r\nand evil administration in America's history. How could that be? Here's how the\r\napostle Paul put it when writing to the Corinthians:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"The god of this\r\nworld hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the\r\nglorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto\r\nthem.\"<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(II Corinthians\r\n4:4)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

When people's minds, their thought patterns, and their supposed\r\nrelationship to the Lord Jesus Christ get contaminated with the spirit of\r\nBabylon -- Jezebel -- who usurps and exalts herself above God and the things of\r\nGod, they become blinded to the truth, insensitive to the Spirit of the Lord,\r\nand incapable of responding to spiritual crises in their lives and their\r\nsurroundings.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let's wrap up this Coffee Break with the prophetic word from\r\nRevelation 18:6-8:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Reward her even as she\r\nrewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup\r\nwhich she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself,\r\nand lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she\u00a0<\/span>saith<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in\r\nher heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore\r\nshall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she\r\nshall be utterly burned with fire: for strong\u00a0is<\/i>\u00a0the Lord God\r\nwho\u00a0<\/span>judgeth<\/span><\/span>\u00a0her.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
