ANOTHER COFFEE BREAK: BABYLON IS FALLING DOWN, Part 14<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Felicitations!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In John 14:6, Jesus makes perhaps the one single statement that\r\nseparates our walk with Him from religion and -- more than that -- from the\r\nspirit of Babylon and Mammon.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"<\/span><\/b>I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the\r\nFather, but by me.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Add\r\nto that His statement which John quotes in chapter 10:9:\u00a0<\/span>\"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be\r\nsaved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then\r\nin verse 11 of the same chapter, Jesus says,\u00a0<\/span>\"I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth<\/span> his life for the sheep.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jesus\r\nmakes clear here that we are NOT \"the way, the truth and the\r\nlife.\"\u00a0 We are NOT the door to Kingdom living.\u00a0 We are NOT the\r\ngood shepherd!\u00a0\u00a0 Human flesh and human will are not willing to give\r\nup life in order to provide eternal life with God!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

These\r\nstatements that Jesus makes distinguish the Kingdom of God from the kingdom of\r\nBabylon.\u00a0 Take another look at Babylon's beginning:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"And they said one to another, Go to,\u00a0let us make\r\nbrick<\/u>, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime\r\nhad they for mortar.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>And they said, Go to,\u00a0let us\r\nbuild us a city and a tower<\/u>, whose top\u00a0may reach<\/i>\u00a0unto\r\nheaven; and\u00a0let us make us a name<\/u>, lest we be scattered abroad upon\r\nthe face of the whole earth.\"<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>(Genesis 11:3-4)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Notice\r\nthe focus?\u00a0\u00a0US!<\/b>\u00a0 Funny thing!\u00a0 There's absolutely no\r\nrecognition of God; and everything about Babylon's focus is what WE'RE going to\r\ndo, what WE'RE going to get, and what WE'RE going to make of ourselves in the\r\nearth.\u00a0 Let's make US a city -- as if living freely off the land isn't\r\nsafe!\u00a0 Let's make US a tower that will take us into Heaven.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let\r\nme pause parenthetically here to point out a prophetic Word that Isaiah\r\ngave.\u00a0 (See Isaiah 14:12-14)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the\r\nmorning!\u00a0how<\/i>\u00a0art thou cut down to the ground, which didst\r\nweaken the nations!\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>For thou hast said in thine<\/span> heart,\u00a0I will ascend into heaven<\/u>,\u00a0I\r\nwill exalt my throne above the stars of God<\/u>:\u00a0I will sit also upon\r\nthe mount of the congregation<\/u>, in the sides of the north:\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>I\r\nwill ascend above the heights of the clouds<\/u>;\u00a0I will be like the\r\nmost High.\"<\/u><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now\r\nyou see where Babylon had its real beginning!\u00a0 It's all about I, ME, US,\r\nWE -- not Father God, not the Lord Jesus Christ, not the promised Messiah who\r\nwould redeem them from the Curse!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And\r\nBabylon's beginnings are wrapped up in the statement, Let US make US a\r\nname.\u00a0 Embodied in that is the core desire to be equal with God, to\r\nsupplant the need for God, to replace God with I, ME, US and WE.\u00a0 It is\r\nthe core of what we know today and refer to as Secular Humanism.\u00a0 There\r\nare some other names for it in our socio-political world today: Progressive,\r\nSocialist, Liberal.\u00a0 The so-called \"Progressive\" or\r\n\"Socialist, Liberal\" mindset is a nice, sanitized way of expressing\r\nthe very thing we left off with in our last discussion.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Watch\r\ncarefully.\u00a0 Let's revisit the 12 categories of importance to the\r\nBabylonian mindset.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nPrecious metals (gold, silver, etc.)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nPrecious stones (e.g., diamonds, rubies, emeralds, pearls, etc.)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nRare or exotic woods<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nIvory<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nDecorative (and even useful) things made of brass, iron and marble<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nPerfumes, fine scented things (cinnamon, fragrant powders, incense, ointments\r\nand frankincense)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nFine wines<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

8.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nOil, fine flour, wheat (a nice way to express the \"importance\" of\r\nfine cuisine)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

9.\u00a0\u00a0\r\nFlocks (cattle, beasts of the field, sheep, goats, etc.)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

10.\r\nMight in battle (horses and chariots)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

11.\r\nSlaves (having physical control over human beings, having control over the way\r\nthey live and their lifestyles, and having control over the way they do\r\nbusiness)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

12.\r\nThe souls of men (having control over the minds, the hearts, the thoughts and\r\nthe desires of human beings) THIS IS THE ESSENCE OF THE MARK OF THE BEAST!!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nso-called \"Progressive\" way of thinking creates at once a sameness\r\n(more accurately, a puppet mentality), a robotic behavior according to a set of\r\nunsaid (or as the case may be, actually stated) rules which ban societal\r\nbehavior that acknowledges and honors the Lord.\u00a0 The fraud incorporated in\r\nthis mindset is that the \"progress\" is into rebellion and humanistic\r\n\"I'm my own god\" thinking.\u00a0 It is the lie of Satan -- the same\r\nlie he told Eve when he said,\u00a0<\/span>\"Ye shall not surely\r\ndie [if you eat of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil]:\r\nFor God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be\r\nopened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.\"<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>(Genesis 3:4b-5)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nvery use of the word \"Progressive\" itself is a lie since this\r\nthinking is regressive.\u00a0 It deprives people of the freedom and liberty\r\nthere is in Christ Jesus.\u00a0 It takes them backwards spiritually, mentally,\r\nphysically, and economically.\u00a0 The same applies to the use of the word,\r\n\"Liberal,\" since there is no liberty whatever.\u00a0 Those who come\r\nunder this kind of thinking actually submit to the slavery of the Grand Puppet\r\nMaster himself, the king of Babylon.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

People\r\nwho buy into this lie generally become blinded to the Truth -- the Truth that\r\nis the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0 They're sold a myth, one that says that there\r\nmust be a secular society \"free from religion,\" one in which there is\r\na distinct \"separation of church and state.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nproblem with this kind of thinking -- and I'm pausing momentarily to deal with\r\nsomething that a lot of folks will see as not being \"politically\r\ncorrect\" -- is that the same folks who push this demonic philosophy treat\r\nthe Gospel of Jesus Christ as \"religion,\" when in fact it is anything\r\nbut.\u00a0 The fact that some folks treat the worship of God and the Lord Jesus\r\nas \"mere religion\" is nothing more than an effort to escape from the\r\njudgments of the Lord, not understanding that His judgment is redemptive, NOT\r\ndestructive.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nlie of Mammon -- the lie of Babylon -- is that all religions are the\r\nsame.\u00a0 Christianity -- despite the fact that major efforts have been made\r\nto treat it as such -- is about as un-religious as anything can be.\u00a0 True\r\nChristianity is nothing more and nothing less than an intimate relationship\r\nwith Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Religion(s) on the other hand is devoid of real\r\nrelationship.\u00a0 Religion -- and especially the humanistic religion of\r\nBabylon -- requires near-robotic behavior to a set of laws, commandments,\r\nrules, regulations, restrictions and doctrines which strip one of relationship\r\nwith God while attempting to please Him through this mechanical behavior.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Babylon\r\nrequires allegiance to the king of Babylon.\u00a0 Babylon requires uniformity\r\nof thinking and living.\u00a0 Babylon creates sheer slavery by forcing men and\r\nwomen to take the \"mark of the beast\" -- the king of Babylon himself\r\n-- in their right hand and live, and conduct business according to Babylon's\r\nrules.\u00a0 Babylon deprives men and women of free will and free choice, the\r\nkind of free will and choice that Jesus describes like this:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"If ye continue in my word,\u00a0then<\/i>\u00a0are ye my\r\ndisciples indeed;\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>And ye shall know the truth, and the\r\ntruth shall make you free.\"\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>(John 8:31-32)<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nBabylonian mindset, therefore, is the mindset -- again -- of the king of\r\nBabylon, the beast.\u00a0 John sees this and describes this in Revelation 13:16\r\nas\u00a0<\/span>\"a mark ..... in their foreheads.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

That\r\nmark is demonstrated in the so-called \"progressive\" mindset.\u00a0 It\r\nis also demonstrated in those who don't necessarily refer to themselves as\r\n\"liberal\" or \"progressive\" but still are greedy for power,\r\nfor control, for money, for \"stuff\" because they are afraid to yield\r\ncontrol of their lives, their situations, their finances, etc., to the Lord\r\nJesus Christ for a huge variety of\u00a0 reasons.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nentire Babylonian system and mindset -- the \"mark in the forehead\" if\r\nyou will -- revolves around self, serving self, satisfying self, worshiping\r\nself above the Lord, and getting, getting, getting, getting, getting, and never\r\nbeing satisfied because the \"getting\" never fills the spiritual need\r\nfor relationship with Jesus Christ, and with Father God.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nentire Global Currency Reset to a large degree revolves around this\r\nmindset.\u00a0 To be sure there is a genuine effort being put forth by men and\r\nwomen of good will whose heart is to try and solve the world's economic crises\r\nand put people and nations back on track to financial health.\u00a0 The root of\r\nthe \"financial health\" of course is ultimately found in Mammon and\r\nthe spirit of Babylon; and yet despite this, the Lord is turning the tables to\r\nprovide an immense blessing to millions of people -- the majority of whom have\r\na Kingdom mindset.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Despite\r\nthis incredible effort being made to turn around a failing economic system,\r\nthis is only a temporary fix.\u00a0 I personally see this as a grace period\r\nimplemented by the Lord at Babylon's expense.\u00a0 Babylon can't fix itself!\u00a0\r\nBabylon's mindset hasn't changed.\u00a0 That said, people who are involved at\r\nthe top of our world economic system still have the same underlying policies\r\nand thought processes.\u00a0 The nations and governments of this world will\r\ncontinue their same profligate spending policies and socialist, liberal\r\nthinking.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Even\r\nwith all the Basel III protocols in place and the Global Currency Reset being\r\nimplemented, all this is going to do is to buy a little time -- time that the\r\nBride of Christ absolutely MUST utilize to make herself ready for the coming of\r\nthe Bridegroom, and time that must be seized and redeemed for this last great\r\nharvest.\u00a0 From what I see and hear, we have perhaps seven to ten years in\r\nwhich to accomplish things before the world's economies collapse inward on\r\nthemselves with a mighty bang!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

There\r\nis no Basel IV.\u00a0 There is no new Global Currency Reset the economists and\r\nbanking leaders can come up with seven-to-ten years from now that will be able\r\nto implement another fix.\u00a0 Tax and spend policies will begin the death\r\nspiral all over again, and this time the system is going to come down once and\r\nfor all.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Take\r\na quick look at how John describes it in Revelation 18:15-20:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"The merchants of these things, which were made rich by\r\nher, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and\r\nwailing,\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that\r\nwas clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and\r\nprecious stones, and pearls!\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0For in one hour so\r\ngreat riches is come to nought<\/span><\/u>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and\r\nsailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>And\r\ncried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What\u00a0city is<\/i>\u00a0like\r\nunto this great city!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0And they cast dust on\r\ntheir heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great\r\ncity, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her\r\ncostliness!\u00a0for in one hour is she made desolate<\/u>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Rejoice over her,\u00a0thou<\/i>\u00a0heaven, and\u00a0ye<\/i>\u00a0holy\r\napostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Here's\r\nhow John finishes the picture of Babylon's fall in verses 23 and 24 (with my\r\namplification of the Greek):<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"And the light of a candle shall shine NO MORE AT ALL in\r\nthee; and the [celebratory] voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be\r\nheard NO MORE AT ALL in thee: for thy merchants were the great [the prominent]\r\nmen of the earth; for by thy sorceries [and manipulations] were all nations\r\n[blinded by her enticements, and] deceived.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>And in her\r\nwas found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon\r\nthe earth.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

As\r\nis more than obvious today, anyone who dares to speak out against the sin and\r\nthe policies which not only permit but encourage behavior which is abominable\r\nin the sight of God, and addresses the practices of leaders and governments\r\nwhich defy the Word of God are often quickly arrested and put in jail, or had\r\nlawsuits filed against them, or had military action taken to quiet their\r\nvoices; and, in more cases than we want to even think about, been put to death.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jezebel\r\nabsolutely HATES rebuke and reproof.\u00a0 Anyone who dares to rebuke or to\r\nreprove the actions and activities of those under the domination of this spirit\r\nof rebellion frequently (and increasingly in this day and time) suffers as a\r\nresult.\u00a0 Let it be known, however, among the saints of God that Jezebel's\r\ndays of speaking out against God's anointed have been shortened.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In\r\nnext week's Coffee Break -- the last one in this series, I'll share with you\r\nsome \"signs in the heavens and the earth beneath\" which portend the\r\nfinal collapse of Babylon.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
