ANOTHER COFFEE BREAK: BABYLON IS FALLING DOWN, Part 15<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>

THE\r\nTRUMPET HAS BEEN SET TO THE MOUTH!<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

There!\u00a0\r\nHow do you like that for an introduction?\u00a0 We're talking about a direct\r\nmessage conveyed by an angel of the Lord.\u00a0 I'll share it with you\r\nmomentarily.<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>In\u00a0\r\nlast week's Coffee Break, I shared the following: The lie<\/span>\r\nof Mammon -- the lie of Babylon -- is that all religions are the same.\u00a0\r\nChristianity -- despite the fact that major efforts have been made to treat it\r\nas such -- is about as un-religious as anything can be.\u00a0 True Christianity\r\nis nothing more and nothing less than an intimate relationship with Jesus\r\nChrist.\u00a0 Religion(s) on the other hand is devoid of real\r\nrelationship.\u00a0 Religion -- and especially the humanistic religion of\r\nBabylon -- requires near-robotic behavior to a set of laws, commandments,\r\nrules, regulations, restrictions and doctrines which strip one of relationship\r\nwith God while attempting to please Him through this mechanical behavior.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Babylon\r\nrequires allegiance to the king of Babylon.\u00a0 Babylon requires uniformity\r\nof thinking and living.\u00a0 Babylon creates sheer slavery by forcing men and\r\nwomen to take the \"mark of the beast\" -- the king of Babylon himself\r\n-- in their right hand and live, and conduct business according to Babylon's\r\nrules.\u00a0 Babylon deprives men and women of free will and free choice by\r\nmanipulating their thinking and the way they believe, and in the process\r\ncreates a \"mark in their foreheads.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>The\r\nroot of this kind of thinking is found in the Fear of Evil -- one of the three\r\ndominant spirits of fear that have infected the human race ever since the\r\nfall.\u00a0 This is something I've talked about and ministered on for more than\r\n30 years.\u00a0 The Fear of Evil is the granddaddy of all evil spirits, and the\r\nprogenitor of the Fear of Man, as well as the Fear of Death.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Without\r\ncovering territory all over again in this Coffee Break that I've discussed on\r\nnumerous times in the past, the Fear of Evil is that demonic prince which takes\r\nhold in a person when they persistently eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of\r\nGood and Evil.\u00a0 You may have noticed that in Revelation 2:17 one of the\r\npromises made \"to him that overcometh<\/span>\" is\r\n\"hidden manna.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>People\r\nwho continually and persistently eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and\r\nEvil are barred from eating of the Tree of Life.\u00a0 The Tree of Life\r\nprovides all of the revelation one needs to function and live a practical,\r\nday-to-day, prosperous life in Christ Jesus.\u00a0 The hidden manna is the\r\npeeling away of layer after layer after layer of revelation of the nature and\r\ncharacter of the Lord Jesus Christ to which we've been (pre-)destined.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>We\r\nhave a destiny in Jesus Christ, a destiny of ruling and reigning, a destiny of\r\novercoming all that is in the world and all that Satan has tried to corrupt\r\nwith his lies, manipulations and deceptions.\u00a0 It is an unrealized destiny\r\nfor a huge number of \"believers\" simply because they are still stuck\r\nwith the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil -- and the Babylonian mindset\r\nthat comes as a result of eating of that tree.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>There\r\nis nothing \"rational\" (from the perspective of one whose mind has\r\nbeen\u00a0<\/span>
\r\n<\/span>corrupted\r\nby Babylon) about the faith walk available to believers.\u00a0 One of Babylon's\r\nmost common clich\u00e9s is, \"God helps those who help themselves.\"\u00a0\r\nNO HE DOESN'T!!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>God\r\nhelps those who totally and without reservation trust in, rely upon, and walk\r\naccording to the\u00a0rhema<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>\u00a0that\r\ncomes from hearing, paying attention to, and obeying Holy Spirit.\u00a0 The cry\r\nof the Spirit in the earth today to God's people to \"Come out of\r\nBabylon\" is a warning for folks to cease depending on what they have\r\nlearned, what they think they know, or what they are currently experiencing and\r\ninstead to listen to the voice of Holy Spirit.\u00a0 The cry to \"Come out\r\nof Babylon\" is to depart entirely from one's dependence on and use of the\r\nworld's economic methodologies, and to enter into a Kingdom economic system.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Babylon\r\nis totally incompatible with the Kingdom of God.\u00a0 For roughly 4,500 years\r\nBabylon has corrupted the thinking, the behavior, and the monetary practices of\r\nthe world.\u00a0 For that reason, God has issued a decree against Babylon and\r\nall who subscribe to the king of Babylon's thinking and practices.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Consider\r\nfor a moment a picture from Revelation 11:15-19:\u00a0<\/span>\"And the seventh angel sounded<\/u>; and there were great\r\nvoices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become\u00a0the\r\nkingdoms<\/i>\u00a0of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever\r\nand ever.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>And the four and twenty elders, which sat\r\nbefore God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>Saying,\r\nWe give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast<\/span>,\r\nand art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast\r\nreigned.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>\"And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the\r\ntime of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest<\/span>\r\ngive reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that\r\nfear thy name, small and great; and shouldest<\/span> destroy\r\nthem which destroy the earth.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0And the temple of God\r\nwas opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament:\r\nand there were lightnings<\/span>, and voices, and thunderings<\/span>, and an earthquake, and great hail.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Obviously\r\nthere is a whole lot more here than I could even begin to explore in this\r\nCoffee Break, but I want to draw your attention to a couple pieces of this\r\nprophecy.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Verse\r\n15 opens up with,\u00a0<\/span>\"And the seventh angel sounded<\/u>; and there were great\r\nvoices in heaven....\"<\/span>
\r\n
\r\n<\/span>The\r\nGreek word used here which gets translated \"sounded\" is the\r\nword,\u00a0salpidzo<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>,\r\nwhich means:\u00a0<\/span>to let loose with a blast on a trumpet<\/span><\/u><\/b>.\u00a0 It is\r\nfollowed with the phrase,\u00a0<\/span>\"there were great\r\nvoices in heaven.\"\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>This phrase, \"great voices\"\r\nrather understates the context of the Greek words and could actually be\r\nexpansively translated in context as:\u00a0<\/span>a deafening roar of\r\nvoices [speaking prophetic agreement with the sound of the trumpet]<\/span><\/u><\/b>.\u00a0 I'm\r\namplifying things a bit, I know, but it is important to understand that the\r\nseventh angel's trumpet blast was a prophetic decree.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>That\r\ndecree was the beginning of a series of events which marks the end of Babylon,\r\nthe king of Babylon, and the spirit of Jezebel, along with their power and\r\ninfluence in the earth.\u00a0 What was the decree?<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>\"The kingdoms of this world are become\u00a0the kingdoms<\/i>\u00a0of\r\nour Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>During\r\nthe years that Dwain McKenzie and I served at Long Beach Christian Center, we\r\ngot to know John Hinkle, a Charismatic Presbyterian pastor in southern\r\nCalifornia whose influence in the Charismatic Renewal was both prophetic and\r\nprofound.\u00a0 In the spring of 1993 John awoke one morning with the audible\r\nvoice of God speaking the following rather cryptic phrase to him,\r\n\"Thursday, June the 9th.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>There\r\nwas no explanation with it and he found it both tantalizing and puzzling.\u00a0\r\nHe got out of bed and went to look at his calendar.\u00a0 There was no\r\nThursday, June 9th in 1993.\u00a0 Thumbing through the calendar for the coming\r\nyear, he discovered that 1994 indeed had a Thursday, June 9th.\u00a0 With no\r\nother clarity from Holy Spirit,\u00a0 he began to spread the word among fellow\r\nministers, and particularly those who had strong prophetic giftings<\/span>.\u00a0\r\nNo one -- at least at the time -- could come up with any explanation other than\r\nthe fact that God was apparently going to do something of great significance on\r\nthat date.\u00a0 In the months that followed he learned of others who had a\r\nsimilar experience.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Thursday,\r\nJune 9 of 1994 found Della and I in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada gathered with\r\nfriends for some spontaneous worship gatherings.\u00a0 A few weeks ago I\r\nmentioned our friend, Eileen Finnman<\/span>, whom the Lord\r\nhas healed from cancer.\u00a0 One of her friends was driving from Red Deer to\r\nEdmonton.\u00a0 She saw a man standing alongside the highway hitchhiking.\u00a0\r\nShe felt prompted to stop and pick up the hitchhiker but argued within herself,\r\nsaying, \"Lord, you know I don't pick up hitchhikers.\u00a0 Not at\r\nall!\u00a0 It's just not safe!\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>She\r\ndrove on past the hitchhiker and Holy Spirit almost shouted in her ear, \"I\r\nsaid, STOP!\u00a0 Go back and pick up that hitchhiker!\"\u00a0 Nothing to\r\ndo but find a place to turn around, get on the other side of the freeway and\r\nhead back.\u00a0 A few minutes later she was back to where the hitchhiker was\r\nstanding and pulled over to let him in.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>As\r\nshe prepared to pull back into the traffic she started to say, \"Where are\r\nyou headed,\" but before she could finish the hitchhiker said, \"The\r\ntrumpet has been set to the mouth\" and vanished.\u00a0 She was more than a\r\nlittle shakened<\/span> by the experience and when she\r\narrived in Edmonton, she called the RCMP office to report the\r\n\"incident.\"\u00a0 The officer who took her call said to her,\r\n\"Lady, you are the sixth person to call in with that same report.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>At\r\nthe same time, people were experiencing the identical thing in many\r\nplaces.\u00a0 To the south in Lethbridge<\/span> three more\r\npeople called the local RCMP office with the same report.\u00a0 We later\r\nlearned of others who'd had the same thing happen to them: an Idaho State\r\nPatrol officer, a Montana State Trooper, several drivers as well as Washington\r\nState Patrol officers in the areas around Seattle-Tacoma and Olympia.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>The\r\nfact that all these people reported the identical incident at the same time in\r\nso many different places signaled the fact that the Lord was making an\r\nannouncement He wanted folks to pay attention to.\u00a0 It was a warning that\r\nneeded to be published abroad.\u00a0 The seventh angel was sounding!\u00a0 The\r\nseventh trumpet was being blown.\u00a0 The Spirit of the Lord was drawing\r\nattention to the fact that Babylon's day of judgment was at hand!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>That\r\nsame day, June 9, 1994, an earthquake measuring something on the order of 9.1\r\nstruck in the area of La Paz, Bolivia.\u00a0 The quake reached all the way to\r\nToronto, Ontario.\u00a0 It was one of the largest quakes of the 20th\r\ncentury.\u00a0 As we began to hear about the quake, the Lord spoke to Della and\r\nquoted to her from Isaiah 5:14 and Isaiah 14:9 the prophecy regarding Satan,\r\n\"Hell hath been enlarged to receive thee at thy coming.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>By\r\nthemselves, those events would have been enough to draw a whole lot of\r\nattention, but the Lord didn't leave it there.\u00a0 Consider this unique sign\r\nin the heavens.\u00a0 A little more than five weeks after the June 9th events,\r\nthe comet, Shoemaker-Levy, collided with the planet Jupiter.\u00a0 The\r\ncollision lasted for seven days.\u00a0 The comet had broken into 21\r\npieces.\u00a0 The collisions began on July 17th, 1994, shortly after 12:00 AM\r\nGreenwich Mean Time (GMT).\u00a0 It resulted in explosions on a scale never\r\nbefore seen in the history of astronomy.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>The\r\nenergy released exceeded one million megatons of TNT (that is another way of\r\nsaying one trillion tons), dwarfing the power released if\u00a0all of the\r\nnuclear bombs on the earth<\/u>\u00a0were to be exploded at the same\r\ninstant.)\u00a0 It resulted in tunnels of fire on, and above, the surface of\r\nJupiter as large as, or larger than, the state of Texas in diameter, and\r\nmushroom clouds above the surface of the planet larger than Earth.\u00a0 Shock\r\nwaves were generated by these explosions creating a \"sound\"\r\n(inaudible low-frequency, geo-magnetic and gravitational waves) which\r\nreverberated throughout our solar system.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Was\r\nthis a sign from the Lord to confirm that<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"the trumpet has been set to the mouth?\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>The\r\npreciseness of the numbers involved, 17 (the number of the Bride), 7 (the\r\nnumber of the Father), 21 (3 - the number of the Godhead - once again times 7),\r\nstrongly implies an act of God and suggests that we should sit up and take\r\nnotice.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Consider\r\nthat which John saw in Revelation 10:1-3.\u00a0 The context is that of the\r\nappearance of the seventh angel, who is about to blow the seventh trumpet.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\"And I saw another\r\nstrong angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud;.........And he\r\nplaced his right foot on the sea and his left on the land; and he cried out\r\nwith a loud voice as the roar of a lion: and when he had cried, seven thunders\r\nuttered their voices.\"<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>There\r\nis another aspect of this event which bears consideration.\u00a0 The word in\r\nthe Greek text for \"thunders\" is\u00a0brontai<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>.\u00a0 This word literally\r\nmeans,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"a\r\nfiery and destructive sound.\"<\/span><\/u><\/b>\u00a0 No word could better describe\r\nthat which took place 21 times in 7 days as tunnels of fire exploded forth from\r\nthe surface of the planet Jupiter with accompanying geo-magnetic shock waves<\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>John\r\nsays that when the angel cried,\u00a0<\/span>\"seven thunders<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(brontai<\/span>)<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>uttered their voices.\"\u00a0 Would you believe, 21\r\ntimes ( 3 X 7) in 7 days?\u00a0 All right!\u00a0 O.K.!\u00a0 I know that this\r\nis not the traditional explanation for the \"seven thunders,\" but I\r\nbelieve that it deserves consideration in the light of the other attendant\r\nevents.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>What\r\nis all of this for?\u00a0 What is the Lord doing?\u00a0 What is He\r\nsaying?\u00a0 In no uncertain terms, whether you see the events in the natural,\r\nor hear them in the Spirit, it is one and the same!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Babylon\r\nhas fallen!\u00a0 Babylon is falling!\u00a0 Babylon will continue to fall!<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n


\r\n<\/span>Many\r\npeople have raised the question of where all of this fits in God\u2019s\r\ntimetable.\u00a0 What does this mean with\u00a0 regard to \u201cthe end\r\ntimes?\u201d\u00a0 Once again, I remind you that the instruction of the Lord which\r\nhas been given to us repeatedly is, \u201cJust listen!\u00a0 Don\u2019t try to interpret\r\nthe things you see and hear through your own computer.\u201d\u00a0 Human nature\r\ndesperately wants to figure God out and set timetables that will make us\r\ncomfortable with what He is doing.\u00a0 It won\u2019t work!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Word of the Lord is going forth for\r\nall to hear.\u00a0 That Word goes forth so that we may sit up, take notice, and\r\npay attention to the fact that the Lord is fulfilling His Word.\u00a0 When will\r\nthe fall of Babylon be complete?\u00a0\u00a0 None of us can answer that\r\nquestion, and it isn\u2019t greatly important that we know timing.\u00a0 It is\r\nrelevant only to the Lord as He unfolds His Plan and Purpose for His\r\npeople.\u00a0 Once again, it is not important that we know \u201cwhen.\u201d\u00a0 It is\r\nonly important that the Lord is revealing it to us.\u00a0 What is relevant is\r\nthat we\u00a0hear<\/i><\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0obey\u00a0<\/i><\/b>the Word\r\nof the Lord.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The cry goes forth,\r\ntherefore, to those people who are still caught in Babylon -- to those who are\r\nstill caught in the mindset of Mammon, the structure, the organization, the\r\npolitics, the need for hierarchical authority, or the need for\r\n\"democratic\" representation and operation in their relationship with\r\nthe Lord, \"Come out of her, My People, that ye be not partakers of her\r\nsins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.\u201d<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Next week we will\r\nembark on a somewhat different course in our discussions and talk about The\r\nSpirit and The Bride.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Once again, have the\r\nmost prosperous week you've ever known or experienced<\/span>!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
