Most of you have heard me share my first experience of being in\r\nHeaven and being exposed to the sound of the worship and praise that fills\r\nHeaven.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve shared with you how every\r\ncell of my being vibrated with that worship.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>It affected my DNA \u2014 so much so, that even to this day, some 67 years\r\nlater, the sound of praise and worship flow through me non-stop.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I awake in the middle of the night with worship in my spirit,\r\nand this is when I have received much of the new worship songs that we\r\nsing.\u00a0 <\/span>It never shuts off.\u00a0 <\/span>There is a reason for this, and that\u2019s where\r\nI want to take you today.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Growing\r\nup in the far north, the displays of Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) was a\r\nconstant experience that we never tired of.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>One of the things that made it so fascinating to us was the fact that if\r\nyou sang, the lights would move.\u00a0 <\/span>They\r\nwould vibrate.\u00a0 <\/span>They would move\r\nside-to-side or go through all kinds of patterns.\u00a0 <\/span>As long as you were silent, their movement was\r\nalmost insignificant.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\r\nnever realized, of course, that there was a clear explanation to this\r\nphenomenon.\u00a0 <\/span>That explanation was\r\nScriptural.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In\r\norder to demonstrate this, I need to take you into the Psalms.\u00a0 <\/span>David uses this phrase more than anyone throughout\r\nthe Word.\u00a0 <\/span>Quite a few of the Psalms\r\nbegin with, \u201cI will sing unto the Lord.\u201d\u00a0\r\n<\/span>There is specific significance to this, and we will get there\r\nmomentarily.\u00a0 <\/span>But watch how this phrase\r\noccurs throughout the Word, and how it is used.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Exodus 15:1-2<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span>I will sing unto the LORD<\/span><\/u>, for he hath\r\ntriumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. The\r\nLORD is<\/i> my strength and song, and he is become my salvation:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Judges 5:3<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Hear,\r\nO ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even<\/i> I, will sing unto the\r\nLORD<\/u>; I will sing praise<\/i> to the LORD God of Israel.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/span>I Chronicles 16:23-25<\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Sing unto the LORD,\r\nall the earth<\/span><\/u>; show forth from day to day his salvation. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/sup>Declare his glory\r\namong the heathen; his marvellous<\/span> works among all\r\nnations. For great is<\/i> the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is<\/i>\r\nto be feared above all gods.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 13:6<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>I\r\nwill sing unto the LORD<\/span><\/u>, because he hath dealt\r\nbountifully with me.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 30:4<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Sing\r\nunto the LORD, O ye saints of his<\/span><\/u>, and give thanks at\r\nthe remembrance of his holiness.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 95:1<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>O\r\ncome, let us sing unto the LORD: <\/span><\/u>let us make a joyful\r\nnoise to the rock of our salvation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 96:1<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>O\r\nsing unto the LORD a new song<\/span><\/u>: sing unto the LORD,\r\nall the earth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm\r\n96:2<\/span><\/u>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Sing unto the LORD,\r\nbless his name<\/span><\/u>; show forth his salvation from day to day.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 98:1<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>O\r\nsing unto the LORD a new song<\/span><\/u>; for he<\/span> hath done marvellous<\/span> things:\r\nhis right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 98:5<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Sing\r\nunto the LORD with the harp<\/span><\/u>; with the harp, and the voice of\r\na psalm.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 104:33<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>I\r\nwill sing unto the LORD as long as I live<\/span><\/u>: I will sing\r\npraise to my God while I have my being.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 147:7<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Sing\r\nunto the LORD with thanksgiving; <\/span><\/u>sing praise upon the\r\nharp unto our God:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 149:1<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Praise\r\nye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song<\/u>, and<\/i> his praise in the\r\ncongregation of saints.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Isaiah 12:5<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Sing\r\nunto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: <\/span><\/u>this\r\nis<\/i> known in all the earth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Isaiah 42:10<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Sing\r\nunto the LORD a new so<\/span><\/u>ng, and<\/i> his praise from\r\nthe end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the\r\nisles, and the inhabitants thereof.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jeremiah 20:13<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span>Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD:<\/span><\/u>\r\nfor he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Have\r\nI worn<\/span> you out withy<\/span> all of\r\nthese references?\u00a0 <\/span>Notice, in each case,\r\nthe application.\u00a0 <\/span>However, Psalm 104:33\r\nis the real focus of this.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>I\r\nwill sing unto the Lord as long as I live<\/span>.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>This is where things become clear and really interesting in the light of\r\nDavid\u2019s Tabernacle.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

There\r\nis a particular Hebrew word that occurs here which accurately describes why we\r\nsee this phrase again and again and again.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>The word is: <\/span>chayel<\/span><\/i><\/b>.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>It comes from a root word, <\/span>chi<\/span><\/i><\/b>, which means:\r\nlife.\u00a0 <\/span>This is actually more an Aramaic\r\nword than Hebrew.\u00a0 <\/span>It appears in the\r\nAramaic text of the new testament.\u00a0 <\/span>We\r\nsee it especially in Mark 5:30, but here it is rendered as \u201cvirtue\u201d or \u201cpower.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Why the difference?<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In\r\nthis instance in Mark, we have the event of the woman with the issue of blood\r\nwho touches the hem of Jesus\u2019 garment.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>He immediately responds with, \u201cWho touched me?\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>The disciples are puzzled because they are in\r\na crowd situation, and touching would be normal.\u00a0 <\/span>Here is why Jesus responded the way He did.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Once\r\nyou understand that the word, <\/span>chayel<\/span><\/i><\/b>, represents\r\n\u201csound\u201d or \u201cvibrations,\u201d you realize that Jesus felt the vibration of life when\r\nHe was touched.\u00a0 <\/span>There is both sound and\r\nvibrations in everything that is living, and even in things inanimate.\u00a0 <\/span>Getting down to the molecular level, even\r\nrocks, which appear to be stationary, are moving and giving off sound.\u00a0 <\/span>We can\u2019t hear it of course with our natural\r\nears, but Jesus could.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

You\u2019ll\r\nrecall His rebuke to those religious people who told His disciples to be quiet\r\nwhen they were praising Him.\u00a0 <\/span>I\r\nparaphrase His statement like this, \u201cIf they were to cease praising me, the\r\nrocks would cry out.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Hence, there is\r\nsound, vibrations, movement \u2014 even if it is so slight we can\u2019t detect it with\r\nour natural senses, in literally everything.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>What makes this so significant is the fact that when Jesus spoke\r\nCreation into existence, it was the sound, the vibration of His voice that\r\ncaused everything to appear.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Here\u2019s\r\nhow Paul put it when writing to the Colossians:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Colossians 1:16<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span>For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that\r\nare in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be<\/i> thrones, or\r\ndominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and\r\nfor him:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

So,\r\nwhat does all this have to do with David, and why the Tabernacle was so\r\nimportant to him?<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I\r\ntake you back to my experience with David as he sat opn<\/span>\r\nthe hillside ministering to the Lord with his harp and just worshiping\r\nHim.\u00a0 <\/span>In the midst of the worship, David\r\nrealized that something was happening that was synchronous with the heart of\r\nthe Lord.\u00a0 <\/span>He felt the vibrations of the\r\nLord \u2014 the veritable sound of the Lord \u2014 as he worshiped.\u00a0 <\/span>The more he worshiped, the more he was in\r\nsync with God.\u00a0 <\/span>Something was happening\r\nin his being that he couldn\u2019t explain, but he knew it in the core of his being.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

And\r\nthat was one of the things that I learned, being there with David, and being\r\nengrossed in the worship.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ll grant you\r\nthat I didn\u2019t fully understand or grasp the full significance of what was\r\ntaking place, but there was a seed planted in me that has come to full maturity\r\nin the 67 years since.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

When\r\nwe sing unto the Lord \u2014 and that singing becomes true worship \u2014 our being\r\nbegins to vibrate in sync with the Lord.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>We become an extension of Him.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\r\ngo back to the fact that it was Jesus who spoke all Creation into\r\nexistence.\u00a0 <\/span>We go back to the fact that\r\nit was the creative frequency of 444 that went forth as He spoke.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Consider\r\nthe seven fundamental frequencies of the Lord, and how they are used \u2014\r\nespecially when we are in tune with Him, and our whole beings vibrate in sync\r\nwith Him.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

1.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>396 Hz<\/span><\/b>: The Open Door\r\n(meaning the opening into the realm of the eternities.)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

2.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>417 Hz<\/span><\/b>: Michael Tyrell\r\nrefers to this as \u201cThe Desert Sojourn\u201d: that sound that accompanies our testing\r\nand tribulation as we are being matured in Christ.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

3.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>444 Hz<\/span><\/b>: The Sound of\r\nCreation\/The Key of David.\u00a0 <\/span>This is that\r\nfrequency that David clearly moved in and with as he played and sang, knowing\r\nthat being in sync with the Lord at this frequency, creative power was going\r\nforth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

4.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>528 Hz<\/span><\/b>: The Sound of\r\nHealing\/Transformation.\u00a0 <\/span>This is the\r\nfrequency of that sound that goes forth as we minister to the Lord to bring\r\nhealing to people, and to the nations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

5.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>639 Hz<\/span><\/b>: Michael Tyrell\r\nlikes to refer to this frequency as \u201cThe Bridge.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>This is that frequency that works to bring\r\nthe unbeliever to attention, to know that there is a realm he or she has never\r\nknown or walked in \u2014 a realm that God is offering to them through the Grace of\r\nthe Lord Jesus Christ.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

6.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>741 Hz<\/span><\/b>: We can call this\r\nfrequency, \u201cThe Great Awakening.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>This\r\nis the sound that takes place when souls are awakened to the reality of\r\nrelationship with Jesus Christ.\u00a0 <\/span>This is\r\nthe sound of Salvation and Deliverance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

7.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/a>852 Hz<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>: Finally, we have the sound of majestic worship.\u00a0 <\/span>This is the sound of the Throne of God.\u00a0 <\/span>This is the sound of Majesty.\u00a0 <\/span>This is the sound of Power and Authority.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Pretty\r\namazing isn\u2019t it?\u00a0 <\/span>Are you beginning to\r\nget a grasp on why the Tabernacle of David was so important to him?\u00a0 <\/span>David realized that all these frequencies,\r\nwhether he identified the mathematical value of them or not, were embodied in\r\nthe sounds that needed to go forth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

He\r\nemployed the families of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun to operate in these\r\ndifferent values because there would be praise, worship, prayer, intercession,\r\nrepentance on behalf of the nation, and sheer glorying in the power and majesty\r\nof the Lord that would go forth on a rotating basis.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Maybe\r\nnow you begin to understand why it is so critical that we begin to comprehend\r\nand function in this realm.\u00a0 <\/span>It has to\r\nbecome part of our being.\u00a0 <\/span>We have to\r\nfunction in this same place of being in sync with the sound of the Lord.\u00a0 <\/span>We have to vibrate at His frequencies,\r\nknowing His heart at the time we sing and worship.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

There\r\nis one more aspect of this concept of \u201cvibrations\u201d that we need to look at.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

When\r\nwe see David use the word \u201cpraises,\u201d the Hebrew word here is: <\/span>zamar<\/span><\/i><\/b>.\u00a0 <\/span>He uses this word in conjunction with <\/span>chayel<\/span><\/i><\/b>, to sing or to\r\nvibrate.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nword, <\/span>zamar<\/span><\/i><\/b>, means to pluck on strings, to strum them in such a\r\nway as to make them vibrate.\u00a0 <\/span>Thus, you\r\ncan appreciate David playing or plucking the strings of a harp.\u00a0 <\/span>You can also appreciate the fact that he was\r\nthe inventor of what is referred to in the Psalms as \u201cthe psaltery.\u00a0 <\/span>The psaltery is the predecessor to many of\r\nthe modern stringed instruments such as the guitar.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Consider\r\nthis.\u00a0 <\/span>We were created in the image and\r\nlikeness of God.\u00a0 <\/span>We were created by His\r\nhand, molded by Him, with the breath of His life breathed into us.\u00a0 <\/span>Thus, when we speak, when we sing, when we\r\nworship, if we are in sync with His heart, and the sound that is emanating from\r\nHim, we produced exactly what He intends to produce, whether it is creative,\r\nwhen it is for healing, whether for deliverance, whether to bring salvation \u2014\r\nyou get the picture.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\r\ncome back to David\u2019s statement in Psalm 104: \u201c<\/span>I will sing\r\nunto the Lord as long as I live<\/span>.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

He\r\nwasn\u2019t kidding!\u00a0 <\/span>His whole being existed\r\nfor one purpose, and for one purpose only: to be in sync with the Lord so that\r\nthe sounds of praise and worship that came forth from his being would be that\r\nsame sound of life that was the life of the Lord, Himself!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Remember!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

David\r\nknew that Israel had long ago drifted away from their commitment to the\r\nLord.\u00a0 <\/span>The Ark of the Covenant had been\r\ntaken from its place in Moses\u2019 Tabernacle by the Philistines.\u00a0 <\/span>Samuel had just shortly before, become THE\r\nprophet in Israel.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Even\r\nwith the Ark in its place in Moses\u2019 Tabernacle, Israel had lost sight of the Covenant\r\nrelationship God had established for them.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>David knew that Israel absolutely needed a new vision of that\r\nCovenant.\u00a0 <\/span>Israel needed a fresh sound of\r\nthe Lord, along with a view of the Ark and the Covenant relationship necessary\r\nfor them to return to the Glory they once knew.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

David\r\nhad experienced years of that sound and that synchronous relationship with the\r\nheart of the Lord as he offered up praise and worship on the hillsides tending\r\nhis father\u2019s sheep.\u00a0 <\/span>He had been bred for\r\nthis time in the life of Israel.\u00a0 <\/span>He had\r\na heart after the Lord \u2014 and that meant that he knew what it would take to\r\nbring Israel back to its proper place of relationship with God.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The\r\nTabernacle that he set up was simple and uncomplicated: a plain old tent,\r\nhousing the Ark of the Covenant with the flaps open so that Israel could see\r\nthe Ark as that 24-hour praise and worship went forth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

This\r\nis where we pause today.\u00a0 <\/span>We may be able\r\nto wrap up this series next week.\u00a0 <\/span>Let\u2019s\r\nsee what happens.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
