Today, we wrap up this series.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>For the past three months-plus, we\u2019ve been talking about the various\r\nrealms of praise and worship and how they intersected with the Tabernacle of\r\nDavid.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let me give you a couple of statistics from the Psalms.\u00a0 <\/span>Did you ever stop to realize that the Psalms\r\nare the exact center of the Word?\u00a0 <\/span>All of\r\nCreation revolves around the Worship, the Praise, the Prayers and Intercession\r\nin the Psalms.\u00a0 <\/span>THAT was the essence of\r\nthe Tabernacle of David.\u00a0 <\/span>Let\u2019s take it\r\none step farther.\u00a0 <\/span>Psalm 117 is the exact\r\ncenter of the Word.\u00a0 <\/span>There are 594\r\nchapters before Psalm 117 and 594 chapters after Psalm 117.\u00a0 <\/span>And how does Psalm 117 read?<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 117: <\/span><\/b>O praise the LORD,\r\nall ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great\r\ntoward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth<\/i> for ever. Praise ye the\r\nLORD.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The first word for praise in Psalm 117 is <\/span><\/b>halal<\/span><\/i><\/b>.\u00a0 <\/span>This is a word with many applications, as we\r\nhave already noted, but it\u2019s primary usage is: <\/span><\/b>to\r\ncelebrate, to make a show, to glory, to sing praise<\/span><\/i><\/b>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The second time we see the word, praise, in Psalm 117 is the\r\nword, <\/span><\/b>shabach<\/span><\/i><\/b>.\u00a0 <\/span>While there are a number of ways we can\r\ntranslate this word, the essence of it colloquially is <\/span><\/b>\u201cto\r\nlet it all out!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0\r\n<\/span>It means: <\/span><\/b>to triumph, to really get loud<\/span><\/i><\/b>!\u00a0 <\/span>What David is trying to describe is that we\r\npraise, we worship, we adore, we minister to the Lord with everything that is\r\nwithin us.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I\r\nwas reading some reports from religious institutions this week and amazed at\r\nhow many of them consider the kind of vociferous praise we like to engage in as\r\nfanaticism.\u00a0 <\/span>It seems that the body of\r\nChrist at large has really lost the vison of praise \u2014 never mind worship.\u00a0 <\/span>They obviously do not know the Word!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

There\r\nis the kind of prayer that David sang to the Lord when he realized how he had\r\nscrewed up.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 51: 1-3<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>Have\r\nmercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the\r\nmultitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Wash me thoroughly\r\nfrom mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

For I acknowledge my\r\ntransgressions: and my sin is<\/i> ever before me.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Against thee, thee\r\nonly, have I sinned, and done this<\/i> evil in thy sight: that thou mightest\r\nbe justified when thou speakest, and<\/i> be clear when thou judgest<\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Many years ago, when I realized how I had\r\npersonally blown it and missed God, I set this Psalm to music.\u00a0 <\/span>I sang it from the depths of my being.\u00a0 <\/span>These following verses still mean a lot to\r\nme, and sometimes they will come back to my spirit.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 51:10-12<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>Create\r\nin me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Cast me not away from\r\nthy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Restore unto me the\r\njoy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy<\/i> free spirit<\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Understand?\u00a0\r\n<\/span>It is critical for all of us to know our standing with God, and to know\r\nthat we come before Him with clean hearts and right spirits.\u00a0 <\/span>Hence, we have these songs that are\r\nprayers.\u00a0 <\/span>They become our own\r\nintercession.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Consider the opening of Psalm 90.\u00a0 <\/span>Now we see full-fledged worship coming into\r\nplay.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 90:1-2<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Lord, Thou hast been\r\nour dwelling place in all generations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Before the mountains\r\nwere brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even\r\nfrom everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Are you seeing the difference between what\r\nwe call praise, or what truly is worship?\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Praise, while it may be addressed to the Lord, is mostly about what God\r\nhas done, or is doing.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Worship, on the other hand, is addressed\r\ndirectly to God.\u00a0 <\/span>We magnify Him.\u00a0 <\/span>We glorify Him.\u00a0 <\/span>We exalt Him.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then there is what I like to call, Throne\r\nWorship.\u00a0 <\/span>That is the kind of worship\r\nthat surrounds the Throne of God directly.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>We see it demonstrated in the 24 elders and the four beasts that\r\nsurround the Throne.\u00a0 <\/span>We\u2019ll take a look\r\nat that in a minute.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We were talking about vociferous praise,\r\nhigh praise.\u00a0 <\/span>There is an old song that\r\nwe sing based on Psalm 100.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my\r\nheart.<\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I will enter His courts with praise.<\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I will say This is the Day that the Lord hath\r\nmade.<\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\r\n\r\n

I will rejoice for He Has made me glad<\/span><\/i><\/b>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Going back to Psalm 91, David sings what is\r\nboth praise and prophecy.\u00a0 <\/span>He sings this\r\nPsalm coming straight out of Heaven.\u00a0 <\/span>It\r\nis what he both sees and hears.\u00a0 <\/span>The last\r\nportion of this Psalm is a direct Word to us from the Lord.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

There is so much more that we could cover\r\nin the Psalms, but David isn\u2019t the only one who penned praise and worship.\u00a0 <\/span>Certainly it was the bedrock of the\r\nTabernacle of David, but we will consider some of the praise that other\r\nprophets sang.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Before we move on from David, there is one\r\nmore Psalm that has been remarkable as both praise, high praise and \u2014 one more\r\nthing \u2014 warfare!\u00a0 <\/span>That is Psalm 149.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Psalm 149<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>Praise\r\nye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and<\/i> his praise in the\r\ncongregation of saints.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let Israel rejoice in\r\nhim that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let them praise his\r\nname in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

For the LORD taketh\r\npleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let the saints be\r\njoyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let<\/span><\/i>\r\nthe high praises<\/i> of God be<\/i> in their mouth, and a twoedged sword\r\nin their hand;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

To execute vengeance\r\nupon the heathen, and<\/i> punishments upon the people;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

To bind their kings\r\nwith chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

To execute upon them\r\nthe judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Warfare is not one of the things we have\r\nconsidered thus far.\u00a0 <\/span>We talked last week\r\nabout the seven different frequencies that are fundamental to God\u2019s economy and\r\nto His sound.\u00a0 <\/span>One of those sounds is the\r\nsound of warfare.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Della and I have shared with you some of\r\nthe experiences we had when were were gathered together with a group of\r\nworshipers a Trails\u2019 End in Post Falls, Idaho.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>There was a period of several days when we were worshiping that the\r\nmusic coming forth was pure battle music.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>We knew that we were engaged in some king of spiritual warfare.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

At one point, the whole house began to\r\nshake while we were worshiping.\u00a0 <\/span>It felt\r\nlike we were in the midst of an earthquake.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>We stopped what we were doing and went outside.\u00a0 <\/span>The ground was shaking with the sound of\r\nthousands of horses galloping in unison.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Because we were amongst 160 acres of trees, and the place was rather\r\nthickly forested, there was no chance that there were any horses galloping\r\nacross the ranch.\u00a0 <\/span>We realized that we\r\nwere hearing the sounds of warfare \u2014 angelic hosts going out to battle.\u00a0 <\/span>We quickly returned to the worship that had\r\nbeen unfolding and continued until it abated.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

It\r\nwas a few years later that we heard a report from a visiting evangelist who had\r\nbeen in the area years before.\u00a0 <\/span>His\r\nquestion was, \u201cWho has been here?\u00a0\r\n<\/span>Someone has been doing battle over this area!\u00a0 <\/span>The difference is palpable!\u00a0 <\/span>The presence of the Lord is here!\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>That was when we realized for the first time\r\njust how significant that battle worship was.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now,\r\nthink about some of the other prophets who prophesied and praised.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Habakkuk 3:18-19<\/span><\/u><\/b>:\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span>Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my\r\nsalvation. The LORD God is<\/i> my strength, and he will make my feet like\r\nhinds\u2019 feet<\/i>, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the\r\nchief singer on my stringed instruments.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Zephaniah 3:14-17<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>Sing, O\r\ndaughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O\r\ndaughter of Jerusalem. The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out\r\nthine enemy: the king of Israel, even<\/i> the LORD, is<\/i> in the midst\r\nof thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/sup><\/p>\r\n\r\n

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and\r\nto<\/i> Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/sup>The LORD thy God in\r\nthe midst of thee is<\/i> mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee\r\nwith joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jeremiah 31:13:<\/span><\/u><\/b>\u00a0\r\n<\/span><\/span>Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and\r\nold men together, for I will turn their mourning into joy, and I will comfort\r\nthem, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\u2019ve talked a lot about praise, and the different\r\ntypes of praise.\u00a0 <\/span>Let\u2019s move on to\r\nworship, and then Throne Worship.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The entire book of Revelation is\r\ndescriptive of that which John saw as he visited both Heaven and what we call\r\n\u201cthe Holy City\u201d \u2014 the city of the Bride (Revelation 21).<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation\r\n4 unfolds as John sees the Throne and the 24 Elders casting their crowns before\r\nthe Lord.\u00a0 <\/span>The casting of those crowns is\r\nindicative of the authority and rulership that God has given us being handed\r\nback to Him and acknowledging that HE is the ultimate authority, and in Him\r\ndoes all Holiness reside.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation 4:11<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>Thou art\r\nworthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created\r\nall things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Then\r\nwe see the progression in Revelation 5.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation 5:11-12<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>And\r\nI beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the\r\nbeasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten\r\nthousand, and thousands of thousands; <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/sup>Saying with a loud\r\nvoice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and\r\nwisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation 5:13<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>And every\r\ncreature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as\r\nare in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour,\r\nand glory, and power, be<\/i> unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto\r\nthe Lamb for ever and ever.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

By\r\nnow, you will see that these are all worship songs that we sing together.\u00a0 <\/span>This, my friends, is where God is taking the\r\nbody of Christ when it comes to worship.\u00a0\r\n<\/span>We are entering the 50th Feast of Tabernacles as I write these\r\nnotes.\u00a0 <\/span>This marks a shift in where God\r\nis taking us.\u00a0 <\/span>We\u2019ve been being prepared\r\nfor this day for years and years.\u00a0 <\/span>Now we\r\nenter a new season where the Tabernacle of David takes on the promise that God\r\nmade through Amos when He promised to raise up once again the Tabernacle of\r\nDavid.\u00a0 <\/span>We are being raised up to a new\r\ndimension in worship!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Let\r\nme end today with the following:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Revelation 19:6-7<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span>And I heard as\r\nit were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as\r\nthe voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent\r\nreigneth. <\/span>7<\/span><\/sup>Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the\r\nmarriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Get\r\nready, folks, for a realm of praise and worship to unfold in the body of Christ\r\nin a dimension you\u2019ve never seen before or experienced.\u00a0 <\/span>God is \u201cfixin\u2019\u201d to really get spectacular!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
