\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tContinuing where we left off last \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tweek, we consider the number 12 in \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe picture of the Bride of Christ \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t-- the number of\u00a0Ekklesia<\/span>, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe number of preparation, and the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnumber of governmental authority.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLast week, we said that the New \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJerusalem does not only consist of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJews.\u00a0 Representing the call to, and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgathering from, the nations are the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttwelve foundation stones, and on \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthem the names of the twelve \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tapostles who made up that first\u00a0Ekklesia<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe dual groups of 144,000 represent \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe two Brides \u2013 now made One.\u00a0 The \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsignificance of the number, 144, is \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthat it is 12 X 12; that is, a \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfinished, a completed, a fully \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttested and tried people.\u00a0 The work \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof the\u00a0Paraklete<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0Ekklesia<\/span>\u00a0has \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbeen accomplished.\u00a0 The time of\u00a0Ekklesia<\/span>\u00a0has \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcome to an end, and the finished \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBride has been joined to her \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBridegroom.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIf you will recall the vision of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tZechariah, he saw the Golden \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCandlestick between two olive \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttrees.\u00a0 When he asked the angel of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Lord what the two olive trees \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trepresented, the angel replied,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThese \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tare the two anointed ones, that \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstand by the Lord of the whole \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tearth.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b>(Zechariah \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t4:14)<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhile I recognize that there are \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tother explanations and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tinterpretations of these two \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u201canointed ones,\u201d I am convinced that \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthey represent the two segments of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe completed and anointed Bride.\u00a0 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe two olive trees are the source \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof the olive oil used in the Golden \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCandlestick.\u00a0 The Golden Candlestick \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twas always representative of the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tflame of love burning night and day \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfor the Bridegroom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn Zechariah\u2019s vision, there is only \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tone candlestick \u2013 not two.\u00a0 The \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tflame of the Bride is one.\u00a0 But it \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tburns out of the oil from two source \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tolive trees: the Bride taken from \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIsrael, and the Bride taken from \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tamong the nations of the earth.\u00a0 The \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tolive is metaphoric of the crushing \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprocess which takes place during\u00a0Ekklesia<\/span>\u00a0as \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Bride is prepared.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA corollary to this picture is the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tevidence of the two witnesses who \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tappeared with Jesus on the Mount of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTransfiguration.\u00a0 Peter, James and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJohn saw Moses and Elijah.\u00a0 Moses is \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trepresentative of the Law, and the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBride of Law.\u00a0 Elijah typifies the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSpirit, and the Bride of the Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJohn witnesses this in two other \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsets of measurements.\u00a0 The city is \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t12,000 furlongs (roughly a distance \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof 1,500 miles) long, 12,000 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfurlongs wide and 12,000 furlongs \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thigh.\u00a0 Thus you have the twelve \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmultiplied by a thousand in \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttriplicate.\u00a0 It is a square of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttwelve.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThen John sees as the wall of the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcity is measured, 144 cubits thick.\u00a0 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAgain he is shown the completion of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe work of the\u00a0Paraklete<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0Ekklesia<\/span>\u00a0as \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe city is protected by a barrier \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmeasuring 12 X 12 cubits (roughly \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t216 feet) in thickness.\u00a0 That \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbarrier is the work of Holy Spirit \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tin the erection, the building, and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe fortification and complete \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprotection wrought in the realm of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe spirit within the Bride.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe picture of the city with its \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmeasurements, the makeup of the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfoundations in twelve specific \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprecious stones, and the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trepresentation of the gates in \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpearls, all depict a finished, a \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tglorified, a united people \u2013 all \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgrafted and integrated together -- \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmade One with Jesus Christ.\u00a0 The \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstudy of the New Jerusalem is a \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstudy of the completed Bride.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThere is no more Bride of Flesh or a \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBride of Law, separated from the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBride of Spirit, or the Bride of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLove.\u00a0 Jesus Christ has reconciled \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tall to Himself.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBy this, I do not mean that the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tflesh and the Law can coexist with \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Spirit and love.\u00a0 They cannot!\u00a0 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis is not a picture of the Bride \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof flesh continuing to serve the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tflesh, or the Bride of Law \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcontinuing in her bondage to the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLaw.\u00a0 Jesus was the end \u2013 the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcompletion of the Law.\u00a0 He was its \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tobjective!\u00a0 Jesus, however, has made \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tit possible, and is making it \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpossible, for the those who have \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tserved the Law and the flesh to have \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tone more opportunity to reject them \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand overcome by the Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe New Jerusalem is that finished \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand prepared people, no longer \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdivided by the Law from relationship \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twith the Bridegroom, and subservient \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto the flesh.\u00a0 Flesh and Law, Love \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand Spirit have been reconciled \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttogether in and through Jesus \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tChrist.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDo you see it?\u00a0 Do you see what the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLord is doing among us?\u00a0 Do you see \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twhy you have been going through the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttrials and afflictions which never \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tseem to end?\u00a0 Do you see the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tobjective of Jesus Christ, our \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBridegroom?\u00a0 Do you see the two \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBrides, made One?<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIf you do, then you see what John \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twas permitted to see in the Spirit!\u00a0 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIf you do, you are seeing the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBrightness of the Lamb, the Glory of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Father, the surpassing greatness \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof His Love toward us.\u00a0 It has all \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbeen wrought because it is the will \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof the Father, the desire of the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSon, and the purpose of the Holy \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSpirit.\u00a0 That will, that desire, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthat purpose are all summed up in \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJesus Christ\u2019s inheritance in us!<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe picture of the two Brides really \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tis just one complete story.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tConsider this.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJesus Christ has never had two \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tplans.\u00a0 He has never had a plan \u201cA,\u201d \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tor a plan \u201cB\u201d if the first plan did \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnot work.\u00a0 Israel was not Plan \u201cA.\u201d\u00a0 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNeither was the \u201cWhosoever Will \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBride\u201d an alternative to Israel.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhen the first words of Creation \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twere spoken, Jesus knew, as did the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFather and the Holy Spirit, that \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthere was only one plan for one \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBride and Counterpart.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAdam and Eve were not Israelites.\u00a0 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tContrary to the opinion of some, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAbraham and Isaac were not of the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHouse of Israel, and they were not \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJews.\u00a0 They were simply the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tforebears.\u00a0 (I\u2019m not trying to shock \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tyou.\u00a0 I just want you to see past \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIsrael to the reality of the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBridegroom\u2019s call.)\u00a0 God\u2019s purpose \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twas never to call Abraham and Isaac \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand Jacob, and then -- if their \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdescendants missed the boat \u2013 choose \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tan alternative.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAbraham was the father of the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBride.\u00a0 Period!\u00a0 He was the father \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof Isaac, and the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 grandfather of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJacob, from whom descended the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttwelve tribes of Israel.\u00a0 He was \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\talso the father of those who walk by \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfaith.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe fact that Israel followed after \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfalse gods and missed out so \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdrastically in understanding the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpurposes of the Lord did not \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsuddenly make them social outcasts \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tin God\u2019s sight.\u00a0 Neither did the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLord make a big mistake in choosing \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIsrael.\u00a0 It has never been a case of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJew versus Gentile, or Hebrew versus \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHeathen.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFrom the beginning of time, Adam and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEve, Shem and his wife, Abraham and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSarah, Jacob and Rachel and Leah, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJudah and Tamar (the Canaanite), \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSalmon and\u00a0Rahab<\/span>\u00a0(the\u00a0Jebusite<\/span>), \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBoaz and Ruth (the Moabite) Joshua \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand his wife, Caleb and his wife, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDavid and Bathsheba (the Hittite), \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEsther and Xerxes (the Persian king) \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand a slew of others too numerous to \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trecount, were incorporated into a \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsingle plan, together with those of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tevery generation since the time that \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJesus Christ appeared in person.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAdam and Eve were the first picture \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof the Bride in the earth.\u00a0 Shem and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\this wife were the second.\u00a0 Isaac and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJacob were the third.\u00a0 Israel \u2013 the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttwelve tribes -- was the fourth.\u00a0 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe \u201cWhosoever Will\u201d people are the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfifth.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAlong the way, the Lord incorporated \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tinto Israel those whose walk of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfaith and perseverance, love and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tovercoming exemplified His heart for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ta single people drawn from every \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnation on earth.\u00a0 The picture of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTamar the Canaanite girl,\u00a0Rahab<\/span>\u00a0the\u00a0Jebusite<\/span>\u00a0harlot, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand Ruth the\u00a0Midianite<\/span>\u00a0who \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdescended from Lot, Abraham\u2019s \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnephew, is a\u00a0 picture of those from \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcondemned nations and accursed \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlifestyles being incorporated into \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Bride because of the remarkable \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfaith demonstrated in the face of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdeath.\u00a0 In them is the most dramatic \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdemonstration of the opportunity \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJesus Christ has made \u2013 and is \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmaking \u2013 for the Bride of flesh to \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tovercome by faith.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTamar,\u00a0Rahab<\/span>, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand Ruth were (ex-) citizens of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthose nations who had been judged, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trejected and cursed by the Lord \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbecause of their sins of the flesh \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand their sins of the spirit.\u00a0 Yet \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthese three women were incorporated \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnot only into the Bride, but into \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe direct lineage of Jesus Christ \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbecause of their stupendous \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdemonstrations of faith in God in \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe face of certain death.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThat which occurred on the day of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPentecost was a follow-up to Tamar, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto\u00a0Rahab<\/span>, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto Ruth, to Esther.\u00a0 On that day, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthere were gathered together some \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tseventeen different peoples or \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnationalities or ethnic groups, all \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof whom heard the praise and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tglorifying of Jesus Christ in their \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlanguages as they were uttered by \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe 120 gathered together in the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tupper room.\u00a0 Suddenly the Bride \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbegan to exist as Jew and Gentile, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIsraelite and Arab, bond and free, \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmale and female without any regard \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfor race, nationality or sex.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFrom that time to this, there has \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tonly been one Bride in the earth.\u00a0 \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEven though we all know that there \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tis a very unique calling going forth \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tamong the Jews around the world, and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tan incredible response taking place \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\teven as this Coffee Break goes \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tforth, it is happening only because \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthey are being rejoined to Jesus \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tChrist as a direct product of His \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\teverlasting Covenant.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe gifts \u2013 which represent His \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdowry to the Bride \u2013 and His calling \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof that Bride are without \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trepentance.\u00a0 Even though we have \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tseen what appears to be the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprocessing of two, there really is \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tonly one Bride.\u00a0 The two parts of \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Bride have become one.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJesus Christ\u00a0is<\/i>\u00a0receiving \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHis inheritance!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCreated for Him;<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHe foresaw the future -- love filled \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto the brim.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
